He is deaf with a Merle eye. He's walks on a leash really well. He has beautiful eyes and is a very sweet guy that seems to be 'tap trained'.. tap his butt to sit or lay on floor. He's been gentle and patient with other dogs who are incredibly excitable and in his face. He does play with other dogs. He seems to have limited vision at night and peripherally, but gets around with no issue. Located in Arizona City. Story
Meet Nick! Nick and his siblings are adorable shepherd/lab mix pups ready to find loving forever homes! Nick is the smallest of the three male pups at 23 pounds currently. They have one female sibling who is even more petite! He is almost 6 months old (born early June), playful and ready for training to be the best dog he can be! Don't let this cutie pie grow up in foster! He needs to get into a home! Nick is up to date on shots, neutered, and micro chipped. If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size! Nick is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $400 which includes a health certificate and costs for the transport north. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you! *Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption. *Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging! Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.

Story
Meet Eeyore! Eeyore was abandoned in a vet clinic parking lot, under the receptionist's car, as a puppy. He has grown up in our rescue! He looks like a shepherd/smooth collie mix--we think. His ears are oversized and he hasn't grown into them! Eeyore is lively and happy, not at all like his namesake! He has been neutered and is UTD on shots. Eeyore is 2 years old, weighs 50 pounds and is ready to travel. From Eeyore’s foster dad: I would say Eeyore is a fantastic, loving dog. Who has spurts of energy because he enjoys to run and play but he’s not overwhelming. He’s a happy dog with a very calm and gentle side as well. Very smart not a big barker. Great with other dogs, big and small and kids. He enjoys gentle touches, soft kisses, talking sweet to him turns him into jello. He just sinks into ur lap. He would make a fantastic addition to most families. He’s unique in his look and does not have typical markings, which always makes a big conversation starter if out and about.. he would be a great companion for a Family or another dog. Would be a great dog park dog, he’s good on a leash and just an over all amazing dog with a gentle soul. I’d also say he is a medium sized dog about 50 pounds, but carries it well. He does not look like he weighs that much. Eeyore is currently in New England in a foster home, for adoption. The adoption donation is $300 which includes a health certificate and costs for his transport north. Story
Meet Kendall! Kendall is a loving playful mixed breed puppy. He had the worst start to life, he was actually thrown from a moving car on a highway in Memphis! Nope, not even trying to be dramatic...this is the awful truth. Sweet little Kendall was only 8 weeks old at the time and thankfully rescued. He is now a beautiful 18 pound 4 month old pup looking for his own loving family to grow up with. Kendall is neutered, micro chipped and up to date on his shots. He is crate trained and almost fully house broken too. He is currently in a foster home with dogs and cats and enjoying playing with his buddies. Kendall is basically very easy going with everyone & all animals, as long as they don’t hurt him. He loves hugs! He’s young enough that he is submissive & licks to get approval from other dogs. If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size! Kendall is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $400 which includes a health certificate and costs for the transport north. Story
Meet Chloe! Chloe is a 5 year old tricolored Chihuahua. She and a bunch of her buddies were surrendered to our rescue from a breeder who had lost her home. She does great with dogs of any size and hasn't paid any mind to the cats in her foster home. Chloe is house trained. She is great with people and very very friendly. Chloe would be happy as an only dog or as one of many. She doesn't pay any attention to the cats in her foster home. She is spayed, UTD on shots and micro chipped. Chloe has a lot to say to her humans! She wouldn't do well in an apartment as loud noises will trigger barking. We are still learning about her personality since she has been in her new foster home for only a few days. It could be that once she is more settled and comfortable she won't feel the need to bark. Chloe is sweet as can be and a love. She is a very friendly and happy girl! Chloe has been transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $500 which includes a health certificate and costs for the recent transport north. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application.
