Story

Whiskey came into rescue as a 10-week-old pup in Sept 2023. He came with his sister that was adopted 2 years ago. He is a sweet pup that needs his own family. He is good with other dogs but has not been cat tested. He has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. This sweet boy is so deserving of a loving home. He is not a favorite of leash walking, but usually it's because he is going to the vet. He can only wear a harness as he doesn't like a leash on his neck. Look into his beautiful eyes and see what a sweet soul he has. His adoption fee covers the transport and health certificate to go out of state. This handsome Lab/Shepherd mix is neutered, full of personality, and always ready to make new friends. Braxton is an extroverted, social puppy who has done well with the other puppies and dogs in his foster home. He loves being part of the action and would enjoy a family that includes him in daily life and adventures. Like many young pups, Braxton is still a work in progress. He needs someone committed to continuing his house training, basic manners, and positive reinforcement training. He can also be food possessive with other dogs, so his adopter should be willing to work on resource-guarding behaviors and supervise feeding appropriately. The good news? Braxton is smart, eager, and still very young, which means he has all the potential in the world to grow into an amazing companion with consistent guidance and structure. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This is an active, happy girl! Loves her brother and other pups. She has been pretty good on a leash and in a car. She does know how to use a dog door but will need training without one. She likes to go out and about as she has been on a campus and in a house for days at a time. She is ready for an adventure with a forever family.

Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This boy was found dumped at a flea market. He is a sweetheart! He is very friendly and gets along with everyone. He has done well in playgroups and loves to play. He is really good at playing fetch! He will need basic training, along with other puppy lessons. He has done well on days out from the shelter with strangers and other dogs. He has gotten to be good on a leash and in a car. He deserves a family that will love, spoil and keep him forever.

Kaia was a dog that was abandoned when her owner just left. She is a bit shy at first but has a happy personality after she gets to know you. She gets along with other dogs, not sure about cats, and not with kids (age doesn't matter). She has been on a leash and does well. She was housetrained but will need to be retrained. She does use a dog door with no problems.
