Story
We are seeking a loving home for our beloved 4-year-old American Bully. She’s house trained, great with kids and other dogs, and incredibly friendly. She listens well and enjoys being around people. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, my mother, who was caring for her, suffered a brain aneurysm and stroke, leaving her disabled and unable to continue caring for the dog. We are dedicated to finding a caring family or individual who can provide the love and attention she deserves. She’s accustomed to being a cherished house dog and is crate-trained at night. She thrives on affection and enjoys being pampered. If you have space in your heart and home for this sweet companion, please reach out.

🛑 CUTE PUP ALERT!!! 🛑 SHARE and help Roscoe find his home! ❤️ This happy boy has been looking for a place to call his own for a couple months now. Saved from euthanasia just in the nick of time only because he was one animal too many. We know that he wasn’t meant to leave that day and he wasn’t meant to live his life out in a shelter. He just needs that special someone to open their heart and home to him! He is a sweet boy who loves to play. He is UTD on all of his shots, neutered and in great health. He is 5-6 years old, would do best with older kids and as a only dog. Finally Home Animal Haven Adoption fee is $75

Story
Bruno is almost completely done healing! His mouth looks great, his eyes are bright, he’s gained weight and his tail has only a couple of small scabs left! 💙CALLING ALL BOXER LOVERS!! 💙 Bruno is more than ready to finally find his forever home! If you know someone who is looking for a best friend and companion- let them know! This deserving boy is UTD on shots and neutered. His true age is unknown but we’ve settled on thinking he is more between the 5-6 year old range. He is amazing at his basic commands…sit, lay down, stay, paw and UP! When trail walking he has unbelievable leash skills…he never pulls on a leash and watches your pace to see if he should walk faster to keep up with you or slow down to stay right there by your side. He is a mostly calm boy who loves to lounge around all day (and would be happy to do so!) but loves to run and play with toys for just a little while (in a fenced in yard) when a companion is nearby. He has been great around multiple female dogs (male dogs are questionable though) and has not been cat tested. He’s only had a couple of accidents during times when he has drank lots of water and hasn’t been able to go out within an hour after doing so (frequent bathroom breaks are always a good thing!) He sleeps through the entire night by your side! This guy is truly something special…he is a velcro dog and is destined to be someone’s best friend. He follows you everywhere and will happily lay at your feet (or in your bed💕), go on car rides or just walk around the yard with you. He is a very faithful companion. He does get anxiety when left alone in a crate, so we are hopeful that he will be able to find an adopter who is retired, maybe works from home or just has the time to spend with him that he deserves. He is just a GREAT dog! If you know someone who Bruno sounds perfect for-please tag and share! This boy has been through so much and he’s ready to have a human to call his own! Story
Benny is a mixed breed handsome fella about 4 years old who prefers a quieter home and does best as an only-dog. He prefers to meet new people outside first and then does well with them inside. He is very cuddly to his people and enjoys car rides and adventures. He loves lounging in the sunshine, barking at the deer in the field, and getting the zoomies all around his yard. He's a country boy at heart and would prefer the quieter life in the country. Apartment life and busy city life is not for him.  He should go to a home with older kids and no other dogs. He has been cat-indifferent so far. Benny is available to adopt through Green Dogs Unleashed. At the time you are seeing this post, Benny is still available for adoption. But please know that we may be working on multiple applications already, and any one of them could be approved at any time. Please READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION and complete an adoption application, if you are interested in any of our animals. Application at www.greendogsunleashed.org If you send an inquiry to ask if the dog is still available, or just tell us you are interested, your inquiry will not be answered. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. We can do NOTHING without that. No, we cannot tell you if he would be a match for your family without seeing an application. PLEASE KEEP READING for info. */*/* PLEASE NOTE: The first communication you will receive after completing an application will be an email response, which will have instructions on how to proceed. Please check your inbox AND spam folders for the next 48 hours, for this email. We will not begin processing an application without the information requested in that email. */*/* We are happy to consider applicants from out of state on most dogs. Please read the description to see if this dog is an exception. If the applicant is approved to adopt, they MUST be willing to come to our location in Troy, VA, for a meet and greet. If all parties agree that the pup and family are a good fit, they would take the pup home at that time. For more information about our mission and for an APPLICATION for adoption, please go to www.greendogsunleashed.com. GDU does ask a minimum adoption fee of $400.00. This does not even come close to covering all expenses created by animals while in rescue. We are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum fee includes DAPP, rabies if age appropriate,, heartworm test and preventative, if age appropriate, and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying, if the animal is medically sound to undergo surgery. In an attempt to avoid tummy upset from a sudden change of food, the foster family may include a small, transitional bag of the food the dog/puppy has been eating. And if the dog/puppy has grown attached to a special item (like a toy or blanket), they may send that along, as well. */*/* Young puppies will receive age-appropriate vaccines, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters may be required to provide additional puppy boosters and at 16 weeks of age, a rabies vaccine. Future annual vaccines, testing and monthly heartworm preventative are REQUIRED, and will be the financial responsibility of the adopter. ##1155743##

Story
Meet Burly! What a sweet boy! He is a large, goofy guy who loves walks and attention. Despite being so big and strong, he is surprisingly gentle taking treats. Once his nose hits the ground he is on the move. He loves new smells and places to explore. He will happily return to you for treats. Burly would love a fenced-in yard or frequent leash walks for exercise and enrichment.Burly is a big, happy dude who loves to have fun! He loves to run and play with toys. He knows how to sit, and would love to learn some more tricks and manners. Burly is eager to please, especially if it involves cookies. He just wants a person and home to call his own. He has so much love to give. He's just waiting for his second chance. Call about this lovable guy today! We have noticed that Burly likes cats a little too much (will chase them), so we recommend he go into a home with none. He is curious but scared of chickens. He loves playing with other friendly dogs one-on-one, but can be kind of awkward in a multiple dog group. He does not like to share food or bowls with other dogs, so we recommend heavy supervision especially in the beginning. He is current on all his age-appropriate vaccines, and preventatives, microchipped and neutered. Since being with us for more than 6 months, we consider him one our Lonely Hearts which makes his adoption fee only $20. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 63.5 Age: 5yrs 10mths 1wks
