Story
My grandma and this gorgeous boy were a refined pair of active seniors, but she doesn’t have the energy to care for him any longer after falling sick. He doesn’t let his age get him down and is still strong, energetic, and playful as ever, and deserves a home with the energy to cater to that. Walden’s favorite activity in the world is running, and would love nothing more than a jogging partner. While he is housebroken, he needs quick and easy access to outside, as he can’t wait long to go to the bathroom due to his age. He may be hard of hearing as well, as he’s the only dog I’ve seen not care about a vacuum. Walden gathers compliments anywhere he goes, and has the charisma and kindness to match. He’s never bitten, loves children, gets along great with dogs, loves car rides, and responds very positively to petting. He doesn’t enjoy being groomed however, and while he isn’t aggressive towards cats, he seems to think of them as toys. I hope you’ll give this lovely boy a lovely home!

🐾 Hello, kind-hearted soul! 🐾 My name is Bella, and I'm sending you the gentlest tail wags and the warmest woofs from my humble spot here at the shelter. Life has taken an unexpected turn for me, but I'm holding onto hope that you might be the one to give me the love and care I deserve. At just 1 year old, I'm still a young pup, full of energy and excitement for the world around me. Sadly, my previous owners could no longer care for me, so they brought me here on 03/20/2024, hoping to find me a new home where I can thrive. But don't worry, I'm already spayed and up to date on all my shots, so I'm ready to be your loyal companion from the moment we meet. And let me tell you, I'm not just sweet – I'm smart too! I already know how to sit and lay down, and I'm eager to learn even more tricks with you by my side. With my striking gray and white coat and my medium-sized frame, I'm sure to capture your heart from the moment you lay eyes on me. And once you get to know me, you'll see that my sweetness knows no bounds. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a very sweet and smart girl who's just looking for love and a chance to start anew, then please, come meet me at cage #16. My ID is 654026, and I'll be waiting with hopeful eyes and a wagging tail, just longing for the chance to find my forever family. Thank you for considering me, Bella, as your newest family member. Together, we can embark on the most heartwarming journey of love, companionship, and endless tail wags. 🐾❤️ Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. Story
🐾 Hello, compassionate soul! 🐾 My name is Ellis, and I'm writing this message with hopeful howls and gentle tail wags from my spot here at the shelter. Life took an unexpected turn for me when I found myself lost and alone, but I'm holding onto hope that you might be the one to give me the love and care I deserve. At 3 years old, I'm in the prime of my life, a handsome husky/malamute mix with a striking tri-color coat and a heart as big as the sky. Though I may have faced some challenges, I'm eager to show you just how special I am. I may not be neutered yet, but once you take me home, I'll be ready to be your loyal companion in every way. All my shots are up to date, and I'm healthy and strong, with a stunningly soft coat that you won't be able to resist running your fingers through. I'm not just a pretty face, though – I'm smart and eager to please. I already know how to sit, shake, and offer you my paw, and I'm eager to learn even more tricks with you by my side. With a little patience and a lot of love, I know we can accomplish anything together. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a stunning boy who's just looking for love and a chance to show you what he's made of, then please, come meet me at cage #830. My ID is 653919, and I'll be waiting with hopeful eyes and a wagging tail, just longing for the chance to find my forever family. Thank you for considering me, Ellis, as your newest family member.
