Miniature Pinscher

Female, 8 yrs 11 mos
Duluth, GA
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Evie 8.5 years old (DOB 5/11/2015); 13.2 lbs. Spayed, UTD on vaccines, HW negative and on prevention MPMR requires all dogs in the home to be on heartworm prevention, spayed or neutered, and current on vaccines unless there is a verifiable reason by a vet. Meet Evie. This girl adores women and takes a bit of time (treats help) to warm up to men. She is learning about toys now that her teeth have been cleaned and will sometimes briefly play tug with her person. Evie will gladly do anything for snacks. She is quite friendly once she trusts and eager to snuggle with someone on top of or under blankets. She also has more energy than you'd expect from a dog her age and will make a good walking buddy, though she does need some work on leash training and would probably do best with a fenced yard. In her foster home, Evie quickly learned where the door was that leads outside, and she has done extremely well letting us know when she needs to go out to do her business. At some point in her past, she had a home as she knows a few commands including "sit," "get down," and "dance." We are still working on "come." She will do best as someone's one and only as she thrives on people attention and does not care much for other dogs. She tolerates them in her foster home, but the difference in her behavior when she is the only one near her people is drastic. She is much friendlier when she doesn't have to concern herself with sharing someone's lap. As she is quite a barker. No apartments or condos. Evie has some pain in her neck from something that happened in her past. She takes Galliprant daily (a 90 count bottle lasts her 6 months). Without it, she would not allow anyone to pick her up due to neck pain, but on the medication, she does allow it albeit with some hesitance until she knows you. Story
MPMR requires all applicants to have their dogs current on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention unless there is verifiable medical reason why this cannot be done. Chiquita 3.5 year old chocolate Min Pin (DOB 9/30/2020) 10 lbs. Fully vetted Chiquita (given name) is an incredibly sweet girl. She can be standoffish for a while, so a few meetings at her foster home are recommended. She is highly food motivated, so the way to her heart is through her stomach. At this time, an adoptive home will need to be low traffic and either need to consist of ladies only or ladies with respectful older kids. She jumpes and nips too much in play to be around toddlers. She is absolutely terrified of men due to little socialization because of when she was born, and so far, we are having little progress in getting her over this fear. She has quite a bit of energy so would benefit from a fenced yard where she can run. Chiquita adores cuddling. She is very much a velcro dog and her person's shadow. She will follow someone around the house bouncing along behind for attention. She knows both English and Spanish commands per her former owner. Chiquita gets along with other dogs quite well and is often cuddling with them in her foster home. We were told Chiquita knows how to use puppy pads, but here she strictly goes outside to do her business and has done amazingly well on that front. She does hesitate when it is dark due to a minor vision issue but is easily coaxed with lights turned on so she can see better. She is also crate trained. Story
Kaynan is a good dog and knows a lot of commands. He does not seem to get along with other pets however, but is great with humans and kids. He is pretty laid back and loves to cuddle. He thinks he's a lap dog. I think he will do great in a home where he is the only dog and if he has a back yard to run around in. Still, anyone with a big heart is welcomed to adopt him. Kaynan was found roaming around my neighborhood almost a month ago. Since then, I have provided him with food and water. I have posted flyers, but no one has claimed him. I can no longer keep the dog at my apartment even if providing it temporary board and rescue (according to my landlord). The local humane society is full and there is no telling when an opening will occur. If you were to open your home to Kaynan, I will provide toys, a large kennel, and about 3 weeks of food to get you started. Sorry, I am not certain the vaccination record of Kaynan--as he was found as a stray.

Story
He is the most loving and energetic baby. I got it from here (Fulton Animal services) he was approximately 1 and a half when I got him and he is been with me 4 years. This is not easy, this dog will definitely make you feel all the love in the world. He loves to cuddle, play and also just chill right next to you. He loves eating and drinking water and is so healthy. I would never give him up if I was not going through the hardest time in my life. He will need someone who is at home quite some time, he can stay by himself but after a while he will get anxious to see you. He is very strong and loves running a lot. He is not friendly with every dog, but not aggressive. Please love him a lot for me.💜

Story
Meet Sadie, a 1 one year old best boxer mix beauty. Sadie was rescued by a good Samaritan who is now her foster. Sadie now spends every waking moment giving kisses, wagging her tail and wiggling her butt. Beautiful Sadie is about 2 years old and a 50lb sweetheart. She has become part of the family in just a short time. With daily socialization she has blossomed and is learning to play and trust. She gets a long great with new people and loves the foster’s teenage son. Sadie would love to spend time with you on your sofa or staying somewhere near you while you work. She also likes to be on the move so getting out and being active or going somewhere in the car is exciting for her. She will be a great side-kick, travel companion and best friend. Sadie has the most sincere and engaging eyes, you will feel her love every time she looks at you. You will be her world. Sadie will be happy as only dog, but a calm and similar size pup might be good for her too. Cats are not a good match for Sadie. Sadie is crate trained, house trained, spayed and vaccinated. She knows her basic commands and is a real pleaser. She is so easy to have in your home! Sadie loves daily walks and is good on a leash. She has a lot of energy but also loves being a couch potato. To meet special Miss Sadie, please email Jillian at trainingtotherescue@gmail.com. Sadie can’t wait to meet you and complete your amazing and adventuresome family! .

Story
Kevin is a 2 year old black lab mix. He is very affectionate and gets along with everyone. He also loves attention and super active. He gets along with other dogs and some cats. He is fully house trained and knows common commands, such as, calm, sit, lay, stay, go, off and out. He is afraid of balloon and loves all his chew toys. I would recommend a bone because his stuffies last about a couple of hours. He is not a fan of dog beds, he does prefer his blanket in his crate and a pillow.
