Story
Jeff (goes by Geoff) is a sweet Black Labrador and Pitbull Terrier mix born around 7-28-23. He will mature to be a medium sized dog weighing around 55 lbs. Geoff is learning all about potty training in his foster home and has already mastered crate training! This sweet boy was a part of an unwanted litter and is a little nervous and uncertain at times. He is learning how to trust people and is gaining confidence day by day. He loves other dogs and would love to have a confident friendly pup to learn from in her forever home. Geoff&#39s favorite activities are playing and snuggling! Geoff will need a forever family that will provide him with basic training, and will have patience with him as he continues to come out of his shell. Geoff is available for a foster to adopt situation until he is able to be neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. BarkVille Dog Rescue will cover any medical needs until he is fully adoptable. For more information about this deserving boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Story
Effy is an adorable Chihuahua/Corgi Mix looking for her forever family! She was born 6-18-23, and weighs just 22lbs. This deserving girl had a rough start to life, as she was rescued from a hoarding case in Floyd County, GA along with her best friend Bryn (dark). She is learning all about the good life in her foster home and is thriving! Effy is gentle, sweet, and timid. She is eager to explore and play, and loves to sit in your lap. She&#39s a quick learner and has picked up on her house training, crate training, and walks great on a leash. Her foster Mom says she has the best personality - she is silly and fun loving, and will keep you laughing all the time! Effy is good with other dogs, and is likely cat friendly too (would need to be tested). She is a bonded pair with Bryn (dark), and they will need to be adopted together. Effy needs a fenced yard, and would do well in any household. Effy is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting this sweet girl and her pal Bryn, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Story
Meet Leslie, an easy going 7yr old Shepherd/Mix! She is a medium/large girl, weighing 75lbs, and would make a great companion for a family looking for a quiet and relaxed family member. Leslie has a sweet temperament, and a medium energy level. Leslie is dog friendly, and may get along well with older kids. She is crate trained, and house trained. Leslie came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after spending time at an overcrowded Atlanta shelter, where she was taken after her previous owner was arrested for animal cruelty. This deserving girl should receive nothing but love and great care for the rest of her days! She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Story
Meet Zsa Zsa, an adorable Chiweenie/Miniature Pinscher! She is estimated to be around 2yr old, and weighs 22lbs. She was part of an unwanted litter that was living in a pen outside in Rome, GA. They were surrendered to BarkVille Dog Rescue, and she is learning all about the good life in her foster home! This sweet girl can start off a little shy, but once she warms up, she is friendly and fun loving! Zsa Zsa gets along well with dogs and cats! Zsa Zsa would love a forever home with another dog or cat, and a fenced yard where she can spend time exploring and doing zoomies. Due to her shy nature, a home with older/no kids would be ideal. She is potty trained, walks well on leash, and knows some of her basic commands. Zsa Zsa is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Story
Meet Jack Jack! If you're looking for a fun-loving companion with a heart of gold, Jack Jack may be your perfect match! This handsome 1-year-old Black & Tan Coonhound is a medium-sized sweetheart who brings the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate charm. Jack Jack is house trained, knows some basic commands, and is a smart boy who enjoys learning new things. He's dog-friendly and absolutely loves playing and romping around with canine friends. He'd be thrilled to have another playful dog in his forever home. He's also wonderful with kids--gentle, sweet, and always happy to soak up attention and affection from his people! Like many hounds, Jack Jack is driven by his nose and enjoys following interesting scents. He has decent leash manners, but his hound instincts can sometimes lead the way on walks. When he's not busy exploring, Jack Jack enjoys playing fetch, running around in a securely fenced yard, and rolling over for belly rubs. He has a medium energy level and is happy to balance playtime with plenty of cuddles. Jack Jack is currently working on crate training and can experience some separation anxiety when left alone, so he'll do best with a patient family willing to continue building his confidence and routine. He also has a classic hound howl that makes him extra charming--but because of his vocal nature, he needs a home without shared walls, so no apartments, condos, or townhomes. Jack Jack is a loving, loyal young hound looking for a family that will embrace his playful spirit, appreciate his goofy personality, and give him the companionship he craves. In return, he'll reward you with endless love, laughter, and plenty of happy hound adventures. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you're interested in fostering or adopting this special boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Story
Meet Dayton (a/k/a Daytona) -- the sweetest "Ms. Wiggle Bottoms" you'll ever meet! Daytona is a joyful, loving 6-year-old Lab mix (around 55 lbs) who has mastered the art of spreading happiness wherever she goes. This gentle girl absolutely adores people -- especially kids -- and will gladly shower you with snuggles, kisses, and her signature tail wiggles. This sweet girl is the perfect blend of playful and easygoing. Daytona loves going on car rides, showing off her tricks (she even does the cutest high-five!), and joining in on family fun. But when the day winds down, she's happiest curled up by your side, content just to be near her favorite humans. Daytona has wonderful manners -- she's house and crate-trained, walks nicely on leash, and takes her treats very gently (a big plus for little hands!). She's smart, eager to please, and quick to learn, making her a true delight to have around. More than anything, Daytona just wants a family to love -- one that will cherish her sweet spirit and give her all the affection she so willingly gives in return. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth, laughter, and endless love, Daytona is your girl. Daytona gets along best with calm, easygoing dogs and is also great with cats -- a wonderful addition to a gentle, loving home. She's ready to soak up all the affection and promises to give back even more. Daytona is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
