Story
Meet Lucky - The Dog Who Will Steal Your Heart Lucky is a 2-year-old, 70 lb Hound/Boxer mix with a beautiful coat of tan, white, and little touches of black. His name hasn&#39t always matched his journey--he&#39s already lost two homes through no fault of his own. First, when his family could no longer care for him, and then again when his second family heartbreakingly lost their housing. Twice, Lucky thought he had found his forever, and twice his world was turned upside down. But through it all, Lucky&#39s spirit has never dimmed. He is the definition of resilience--gentle, loving, loyal, and full of joy. He adores people and kids, greeting everyone with tail wags and a big heart that just wants to love and be loved. He&#39s truly a &#34love bug&#34 who will make any family&#39s home brighter. Lucky has a medium energy level and loves stretching his legs in the backyard or heading out on a walk or hike--but once he had his fun, he&#39s quick to relax and snuggle. He&#39s currently being professionally trained, so you would be getting a companion, who already knows all his tricks and how to walk nicely on the leash. He is a very smart boy and picks up new tricks in no time. He loves his treats and takes them gently from our hand. Dog and people friendly and amazing in the car, Lucky would thrive with an active family who enjoys adventures as much as he does. A fenced yard would make him happiest, but what he needs most is love, stability, and a forever family who won&#39t let him down again. Lucky is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, and crate-trained. He&#39s ready to leave his past behind and fill someone&#39s life with joy, laughter, and endless love. If you&#39re looking for a truly special companion who will give you his whole heart and make your family complete, Lucky is waiting for you. If you&#39re interested in adopting this sweet boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. I&#39M DUDLEY - KIDS, DOGS, AND EVEN CATS&#39 FRIENDLY GUY! YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH ME! Meet Dudley - the adorable boy looking for love! Dudley is a 4-6 year old American Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs about 64 lbs and every ounce of him is pure love. He&#39s a big, goofy hunk of sweetness--equal parts silly and snuggly. His favorite place in the world is right next to his person, soaking up all the cuddles he can get. Dudley has a gentle, easygoing play style with other dogs and is much more of a relaxed companion than a rough-and-tumble playmate. He adores kids and people alike and is always ready to hand out sweet kisses. This affectionate boy thrives on attention, happily takes treats, and may even charm you with a few soft &#34songs.&#34 Dudley is also cat-friendly and is currently living peacefully in a home with a cat. One of Dudley&#39s cutest quirks? He doesn&#39t mind bath time--in fact, he was so relaxed during his last bath that he nearly fell asleep! This lovebug would enjoy a backyard to lounge and play in, but daily walks are more than enough for him. Whether hanging out with his dog friends or being a loyal cuddle buddy, Dudley is happiest when surrounded by love. This awesome boy is very intelligent and eager to learn new tricks, making him a joy to work with. Walking him is truly a pleasure, and all of our volunteers at the rescue adore and cherish him. He is a genuine sweetheart in every sense. Dudley&#39s story hasn&#39t always been easy. He was abandoned and spent two long months at Fulton County Shelter, ending up on the urgent list with his life at risk. Thankfully, we stepped in just in time to save him. Now, he&#39s ready for his second chance at the forever family he deserves. Dudley is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained, and potty trained--truly the full package. All he needs now is a family to call his own, where he can share his endless love, kisses, and goofy charm. If you&#39re looking for a big-hearted, gentle, and affectionate companion, Dudley is your guy! Apply today to give Dudley the life he deserves. Story
HI, I&#39M ZION. I&#39M PEOPLE, KIDS, AND DOGS&#39 FRIENDLY. Meet Zion, a stunning 1-year-and-9-month-old, 60 lb. German Shepherd mix full of joy and a love for life! This handsome boy is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection -- a loyal companion who&#39s always ready for fun and adventure. Zion absolutely loves spending time outside, especially playing in the backyard with his doggy friends. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs, chase toys, and enjoy the sunshine. He&#39s a fantastic family dog who would be thrilled to join you on walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures, then relax by your side at the end of the day. With his medium-to-high energy level, Zion is happiest when he gets to stay active and engaged. He&#39s also incredibly smart and eager to learn -- he recently graduated from the professional training where he mastered new commands and tricks! Story
Meet Zsa Zsa, an adorable Chiweenie/Miniature Pinscher! She is estimated to be around 2yr old, and weighs 22lbs. She was part of an unwanted litter that was living in a pen outside in Rome, GA. They were surrendered to BarkVille Dog Rescue, and she is learning all about the good life in her foster home! This sweet girl can start off a little shy, but once she warms up, she is friendly and fun loving! Zsa Zsa gets along well with dogs and cats! Zsa Zsa would love a forever home with another dog or cat, and a fenced yard where she can spend time exploring and doing zoomies. Due to her shy nature, a home with older/no kids would be ideal. She is potty trained, walks well on leash, and knows some of her basic commands. Zsa Zsa is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Story
Meet Flint, an adorable Beagle/Dachshund looking for his forever family! This poor boy ended up at a high kill shelter after he was confiscated form a hoarding case. Flint isn&#39t going to let his sad past define him, and he is working on adjusting to &#34normal&#34 life with his foster family! He is estimated to be around a year old and weighs just 15lbs. This cutie walks great on leash, is house trained, and is working on his crate training. Flint loves other dogs, and would do best in a forever home that has another confident and friendly pup that can help show him the ropes. Fint is best described as sweet, charming, and loving. He will need a family who is patient with him, and will continue to help him feel safe and confident. He does not like being picked up, but Flint does enjoy being pet and loved on. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
