Story

Meet Melo Gohan (“Gohan”), an 8-year-old mixed-breed dog looking for a loving new home. Gohan is house-trained, crate-trained, and has a calm, easygoing personality. Most days, he’s happy to lay quietly under my desk while I work or play with a toy nearby. He enjoys being close to his people and loves attention and affection. Gohan is friendly with adults, children, and babies. He has done well around other dogs, including during boarding, though he generally prefers the company of people. His experience with cats is unknown. He can become a little anxious or alert when he hears the doorbell or activity outside, but otherwise he is a very calm and well-behaved dog. This has been a difficult decision, but due to changes in our family’s schedule, we can no longer give Gohan the time and attention he deserves. We are hoping to find him a loving home where he can continue to be a cherished companion.

Hemi is 6 years and 11 months old. He really is a good dog, he’s great with other dogs, cats and kittens. Unfortunately he’s not good with children. We’ve tried many things and nothing has worked, he will aggressively bark out of fear. He has not bitten thankfully, but we do not want it to get to that point. I think he will be much happier with one adult or two adults with no children. It’s taken a long time for us to come to this decision💔 He will chase a ball all day long and loves his other toys.

free dog sitting for him*We rescued him from the shelter from the kill list, to only foster him to see if we wanted to adopt him but I didn’t have the heart to take him back to the shelter. We have had him for over a year now but unfortunately I have lupus and my husband works 60 hours every week- and he needs so much stimulation. We play laser with him every night, it’s not enough and I don’t have the energy to give him what he needs. He needs a yard to run and mental stimulation and it’s just too much for me with my illness. I love him so much he is an goofball and a character. I am willing to take him while you go on vacation. He has a large crate and some toys I can give you as well.

Hi! This is Chase. He will be turning 8 years old this October. I purchased him from a small breeder in 2018. He is house-trained and knows how to let someone know when it’s time to go outside. He is very people-friendly but does not get along well with other animals. He is energetic and can be loud at times, as he tends to bark. Overall, he is a good dog; however, I can no longer keep him due to my busy schedule. I am looking for a great home where he will receive lots of love and attention.

We are looking for a new home where Gizmo will get daily walks, consistent routines, and plenty of attention; ideally an active family or a home with a friendly dog companion.
