Story
My previous owner must have fed me all the time so I ate all the time and now I need to get my svelte figure back with your help. I enjoy walking around at rescue, so I’m not a couch potato. I was in awful condition when I was rescued. My ears had handful of fur in them and I was pretty matted all over. I get along with everyone at rescue. I stay clear of the rowdy ones, but if they want to sit with me I’m good with that. I’m a good girl. I want a family that will keep me safe and I’ll reward you with lots and lots of love.

Story
Meet Trinity (aka Trin Trin!) 💛 I’m a resilient, loving, slightly goofy, very special girl looking for my perfect match. I’ve been living in a foster home for a while, so my humans know me really well and they can’t wait to help you get to know me too! My Favorite Things: • Rolling on my back (I’m a professional wiggly worm) • Belly rubs & snuggles • Car rides • Walks (I’ve been working hard and I’m pretty awesome on leash!) • Making toy piles—organization is important, okay? • Sunbathing ☀️ • Sniffing every inch of the yard • Playing “fetch”… kind of About Me: I’m the kind of dog who bonds deeply with my people. I may be a little reserved at first—I’m not one to kiss on the first date, but give me a little time and I’ll be your loyal, snuggly best friend. I do best with slow introductions and people who understand that trust is something we build together. Once we do? I’m all yours. 💕 My Ideal Home: I’m looking for an adult-only home where I can be your one and only pet. Other animals are just a little too exciting for me right now, and I feel safest when I don’t have to share my space. I’ve spent time around other dogs and can walk nicely alongside them, but I’m still learning social skills and don’t always read cues well—so for now, I’d thrive most as your solo sidekick. The Important Stuff: • Fully house trained ✅ • Muzzle trained (I’m a pro!) • Currently on medication to help me relax—and it’s been a game changer • May not need medication long-term once I’m settled • Will need a fenced yard (I’m fast and still love to zoom!) Bonus: My adoption includes in-home training support to help us start off strong together. My team is invested in my success, and yours! I’ve been through a lot, but I haven’t let that dim my spirit. I’m still full of love, joy, and so many snuggles to give. I just need the right person to see me for who I am and give me that chance. Could that be you? 💛 (P.S. I even have an Instagram if you want to see more of my adorable face! https://www.instagram.com/trinny_bo_binny )

Story
I was wandering around down South Atlanta, and the Animal Shelter scooped me up and took me into the shelter. No one came to bring me home and I was deemed pretty old and not in very good condition. I was coughing and tired and hoped my person would come find me, but to my dismay it didn't happen. I stayed at the shelter for several weeks hoping I would find a home before the unthinkable happened. A good Samaritan advocated for me and reached out to Act2Pups and here I am. I'm only about 14 lbs with very long legs. I get along with my housemates and love to sit with my foster mom. When one of my housemates run outside I'm right beside him racing around outside. I jump and run like a gazelle. A 5 foot fence will keep me safe. I'm getting a dental on Monday, Feb 9th and and then I'll be ready for my forever home. I'm getting more and more healthy and enjoying life!

Story
Buddy is about 8 years old. He is sweet, cuddly, gentle and great with cats and dogs. He gets anxious when he is left alone for long periods of time. He has separation anxiety, which he takes medication for. Would be ideal for someone who works at home or needs companionship. He is well behaved in public (restaurants, stores, etc). He loves car rides and hanging out with his human. Unfortunately, he has to be rehomed due to losing stable housing. Not 100% sure on his breed but we are sure it is 100% good boy

Story
12/30/25 I'm so sad no one has asked about me. I'm really a good boy. I don't know why I'm not good with men. When Act2Pups rescued me from an outside cage during the winter I guess it was a man that left me outside. I listen well and I do what I'm told. I'm a pleaser for sure and I would just love to please Y.O.U. I've been here before...yes three years ago I was adopted and I thoroughly enjoyed my person. Unfortunately she fell and broke her hip and couldn't take care of me any more. I'm not terribly sad, but I do miss having a person of my own. I prefer females, apparently men have not been nice to me in the past. If you know my breed you know I'm pretty strong headed. I get along with all my housemates, both girls and boys. I like to take walks, I walk pretty well on a leash. I love meal time, so be careful I don't get too large! I'm ready for that forever home....calling all dachshund lovers!

Story
Hi! This is Zoey - 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier (~50%) mix. She is ~45lbs. She's been a part of our family since she was a puppy. Zoey is an extremely sweet girl and loves cuddles and attention. She can't get enough cuddles. She loves people, being outside and sunbathing, walks, exercise, and (more) cuddles. She thrives on a good mix of exercise and relaxation. She is in need of a new home as she doesn't get along with other dogs (or animals). We have 1 other dog and unfortunately they occasionally fight. With young kids we sadly can't take the risk of them being caught in the middle. It is critical she does not go to a home with other animals. A fenced in yard is ideal, but not required. She would be a great fit in a home with a family who can give her lots of love and attention and a bit of exercise most days. Please feel free to ask questions and reach out if interested!
