Story
Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 4 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie likes to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

Story
Meet Anne, our cute little low rider! Anne is 35lbs and about 2 years old (not sure). She is an amazing pup that is extremely loyal, listens very well, and loves dogs. She can be a shy with new dogs and new people. She is crate and house trained and enjoys playing with toys and taking walks. Anne does well in the car and is very much a lap dog. Anne is leash and off leash trained; she has great manners. She will do best with a dog or two for socialization and snuggles. Fenced yard required for off leash play time.  In a new environment she might take a couple of days to come out of her shell. Adoption fee $300 Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.  September 21, 2023, 8:02 am

Story
Frost is 10 months old about 35 lbs; he will be a medium sized dog (40-60 lbs). Frost is social, loving, and well rounded. He is calm/laid back for his age but does love to play. Frost loves other dogs. He will do best in a home with an active, submissive companion dog. He is trying fetch, enjoys a good tug of war match, and likes to investigate the yard. Frost loves food and is very treat motivated to learn. Snuggles are his thing when he is tired and enjoys being with his people when he isn’t playing. Frost is crate trained and potty trained and will make a great companion! We do not recommended Frsot be in a home with children under the age of 8. Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Story
Daphne is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees. She came to us after being surrendered to the shelter, only one of the two dogs could make the move with the family. This poor girl was wide eyed and didn’t do well in the shelter environment, so we brought her into our program. With TLC, a soft bed, and a lot less noise Daphne is doing very well in her foster home. She gets along with the other dogs, cats, and children in the home and is no trouble. Going for rides in the car is her favorite pastime. She also loves going for walks, even though she may be a little slow, and exploring in the yard. Daphne is well behaved for baths and loves to be brushed and have her tummy scratched. Daphne is looking for her forever home where they understand what it takes to take proper care of a dog this size with significant grooming needs. Daphne is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. Please email for more information and an application
