Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Story
Little Guy is a sweet, spoiled boy that likes nothing better than spending time with his people. He would be a wonderful pup to go hiking with on leash. He and his brother, Dozer, are avid critter chasers and will dig after those critters if not watched. The Husky in him means he needs to stay on a leash but the lab does calm him down some. He still has a lot of puppy in him but has outgrown the worst puppy traits. He also doesn’t mind his crate for short periods and sees it as a safe spot to take a nap. He loves children but may be a bit much for some very small children. He loves to give kisses and attention and small children are the right size to be face to face for those kisses. He also thinks he is a lap dog at times and loves snuggling on the couch. Little Guy can be a little shy around other new dogs and may take a little warming up, he has been around many different foster dogs though. He is on the smaller size, thus his name. If you are looking for a very loyal, loving smaller sized pup then Little Guy may be the perfect addition to your family. The boys have had all of their vaccines, been microchipped and neutered and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. If you are interested, please fill out an application at www.mushrescue.com or email adopt@mushrescue.com with any questions.

He is a good size and feels heavier for his weight. He is very strong and stout; when he was a puppy, he pushed his way through the others and anything in his way, thus his name. If you are looking for a very loyal, loving pup then Dozer may be the perfect addition to your family. Story
Noel is our special needs girl but we know she has the perfect home out there. She has been diagnosed with a neurological condition that causes her to walk a little differently on occasion and affects her temperament periodically. Noel is expected to live a long happy life, her diagnosis does not impact her life expectancy. She can be somewhat unpredictable and was unsocialized as a puppy so needs to be an only dog in the house. Noel loves her food and her sleep and doesn’t like to be bothered during those times. She is housebroken and crate trained, she LOVES her crate. Noel’s new family would be required to have a fenced yard as she loves to run. They would also be required to provide her with endless toys! She loves loves loves her toys and doesn’t shred them, rather treats them like her babies. Noel will need to have annual neurological exams. She’s a sweet girl and deserves a home of her own. She is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. For more information, please email adopt@mushrescue.com or complete an application https://mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application/

Story
Meet Holly Belle! She is a favorite of her foster mom but Holly Belle needs another large dog to play with. She is a beautiful and loving girl who gets along with dogs and kids but not cats. Being that she is only two years old, she still gets into mischief from time to time. She loves snuggles and affection! Everyone who has met Holly Belle loves her, including other dogs. She loves to play and would really enjoy a large backyard and another dog to play with. She deserves the best home! Story
Little Miss Violet is about 4 months old and has been in and out of the shelter since she was born. People adopted her not knowing what it takes to own a husky, much less a husky puppy. She is very petite, sweet, and well-behaved. She already knows how to sit. Violet is current on her vaccines, spayed, and chipped. Let's find her the right home! Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. We do not adopt on a first come first serve basis. You will need to fill out an application, do a meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet/husky history are required for adoption. The adopting family will need to complete puppy shots and provide proof of spay/neuter if they have not been completed by adoption. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as it will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. Please email adopt@mushrescue.com or complete an application https://mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application/

Story
Queen is a wonderful dog around 11-12 years. She will take some time to adjust to a new home. She came from an extreme neglect situation and is doing well with me but still is skittish around new situations or people. It is amazing how resilient animals are! She was malnourished and living in a pen for years with little human contact. She loves other dogs and will play for hours but will wait to come in the door until the coast is clear of humans. She does not love the human touch but will tolerate it and show no aggression when touched, just discomfort. Queen will thrive in a calm, quiet household with another dog and lots of love.
