About Me Meet Kokie, a young pup with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. At just the right age for adventure and cuddles, Kokie brings a perfect balance of play and relaxation to every day. He’s a professional cuddler who will happily curl up next to you on the couch, head in your lap, always ready for a belly rub or a nap in front of the fan. Kokie starts his mornings with a gentle wake-up (unless you’re up first!), a quick potty break, and a walk where he loves to sniff every new scent. He’s crate trained, sleeps well in his kennel, and is leash trained for easy strolls. Kokie enjoys four potty breaks a day and is content to relax wherever you are—especially if there’s a breeze on the patio or a cozy spot to watch TV. He’s friendly with other dogs and loves to play, often carrying his toys around in hopes you’ll join in a game of fetch. Kokie’s the ultimate greeter, always happy to see you, and he’ll make you laugh with his habit of barking at his own reflection. He’s calm and gentle, but gets adorably excited during playtime with dog friends. Kokie does have an underbite, but it doesn’t slow him down or dampen his spirit. He’s not picky about much—except his food! He prefers Purina Pro Plan for Toy Breeds with a sprinkle of freeze-dried chicken on top. Helpful Notes from Kokie's Foster: Kokie is a GREAT dog.......very friendly and tail wagging and always happy to see you. He loves to sit on the couch next to you with his head on your lap. If you pet him, he immediately rolls over for a belly rub. He is very calm except he gets excited while playing with another dog. He also likes to bark at himself when looking in the mirror. This adorable Shih Tzu/Dachshund mix is as sweet as they come and has a quiet, loving nature that makes her easy to adore. One of the cutest things about Coco is the way she walks—she has a little bunny-hop style that is guaranteed to make you smile. Coco is happiest simply being near her people. She loves companionship, whether it’s from humans or other dogs, and is content to quietly follow you from room to room throughout the day. She enjoys cuddling, relaxing nearby, and keeping an eye on her favorite people. While she can be a little shy when first meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her to realize she’s safe. Once she does, she becomes incredibly trusting and affectionate. Coco gets along wonderfully with all dog-friendly dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion. However, she does not require another dog as long as her people are home frequently and able to provide the companionship she loves. This sweet girl enjoys soft treats, cozy places to nap, and having a comfortable spot where she can watch for her people. Her favorite setup is her kennel with the door left open or a soft blanket-filled box near the doorway where she can keep an eye on everything while waiting for her family to return. As part of her daily routine, coco receives eye drops in the vending and 1/2 tablet of Benadryl twice a day with a little canned food. She’s very cooperative and does well with this. Coco isn’t looking for excitement or adventure—she’s looking for love. She would thrive in a home where she can be included in daily life, receive plenty of affection, and spend her days close to the people she loves most. This adorable Shih Tzu is the definition of a companion dog. Sweet, gentle, and incredibly affectionate, Walter forms a strong bond with his people and simply loves being wherever they are. Walter is an easygoing little guy with a heart full of happiness. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, making sure you’re never alone, and he’s always ready to exchange a few cuddles for some ear scratches. His favorite place is wherever his favorite person happens to be. This handsome boy has never met a stranger! Everyone is greeted with a wagging tail and his signature happy attitude. We are needing to rehome our daughter’s dog as she is unable to have him at her new home. He is six years old, friendly and housetrained. She has been unable to afford to keep up with his grooming so he is a bit shaggy at the moment since she’s been clipping it herself. He is neutered and has always been healthy.
