Meet our dynamic duo...CONNOR & DELILAH!!! These sweet pups are super snuggle bugs and are oh so adorable. They are very affectionate and enjoy giving kisses. We would like to adopt Connor and Delilah together as they get along so well. These pups are super cute and super funny. Due to their small size, families with children ages 14 and older will be considered. Families with existing pups that are 15-20 lbs and smaller will be considered. Due to their young age, we prefer an adopter who is home most of the day. We adopt within 30 minutes of Wyckoff, Wayne, Dumont and Glen Rock NJ and Huntington NY. Other locations will be considered based on our availability to conduct a home visit in your area. Maisy is being fostered in NJ and will be available for meet and greets with approved applications. We do our best to breed specify but we cannot guarantee any specific breed as all our pups are rescues. We can guarantee that they are all 100% lovable. Meet Joyful Johnny!  He is a wonderful little chiweenie boy who is 3 years old and about 15 lbs.  Johnny is a fun loving little guy who is good with dogs of all sizes and ages.  He also loves people and just wants to be with you.  Johnny loves to play and has a big time running and playing with his foster brothers and sisters.  They have a nice fenced in area where they can safely play.  When not playing Johnny is always up for a movie or a ballgame.  He came from a bad situation where he was not taken care of at all.  He and his sister June (a boxer) were surrendered to a rural Tennessee shelter,  Johnny showed no signs of being neglected but June was in rough shape.  She is now in a great foster home too and well on her way to recovery.  Johnny would make a great addition to an active home with another similar size and age dog to play with.  He is trained to a doggie door so might need some help with his house manners if you don't have one.  He eats in his crate and is not picky about his food.  Johnny is a happy go lucky guy who just makes you smile.  He is schedule to be neutered and microchipped on 2/13.  He is already current on all his shots.  He will then be ready to travel to his forever home.  To be considered for Johnny's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  ARRPOVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Johnny is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)June 3, 2023, 1:58 pm

Meet Mr. Oakley!!  This sweet gentleman is 10 years old and he weighs 24 lbs.  He has begun his weight watchers program and will soon be loosing some weight.  We suspect that table food has been part of Oakley's regular diet.  Well no more!  If he could loose at least 5 lbs he would be much better off.  An overweight dachshund is prone to back issues and we definitely want to prevent that.  He needs a family that will take him for walks and continue his diet plan.  Oakley gets along well with other dogs and loves his foster brothers and sisters.  He likes to hang out with them in his foster mom's fenced in yard.  He is great with people and will go up to you immediately to be petted.  Oakley is content to lay beside you but does like to go wherever you go.  He is not needy.  Just wants to see where you are.  This super sweet boy is also good with cats!!  He would be better in a home with older children, 7-8 years old.  No toddlers.  Since we suspect people food contributed to his weight we don't want to tempt him with someone walking around with food.  Plus this older gentleman deserves a quiet home.  A experienced dachshund family would be best for this great guy.  Oakley is neutered, current on all his shots and microchipped.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast,net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Oakley is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)June 3, 2023, 1:58 pm

Hello my name is Toby. I am an 11 year old male Daschund. I am microchipped. I was found running the road and almost got hit by numerous cars. My owners did not want me back. I am very sweet and timid. I do not understand play so I do get a little snippy from time to time if you were to playfully grab at me as I do not understand what this means. I do not care for walking on leashes but will occasionally. I prefer to be a lap dog. I prefer my special family so we can sit together or I in your lap and gets lots of attention all day every day. I am long haired. I am brown and white. I get scared easy. I am fully vaccinated. I am heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I am not neutered and due to my age the vet doesn't think it's a good idea. I will need to be worked with on potty training and I can also wear a belly band that helps with not urinating in your house. I get along great with all other dogs and cats. I am laid back and the sweetest little boy in the world. I'm fine with riding in car if I'm held and not put in a pet carrier. Pet carriers terrify me.
