Story
Booboo is 5 yrs old and adopted at 9 months, fully house trained and very communicative when needing to go potty.- She is social yet introverted, she loves affection and play, but also just sniffing patches of grass on walks. She loves pets and lounging near you- she has attended the same doggy day care last 4 years and is loved by the staff and plays well with other dogs there. She was also easy to bring to work and says hi to everyone. She has stayed with a friend's family and played well with the young kids. Dog-selective outside of day care. Best as only pet or experienced owners-low maintenance, content with 3-4 walks and 1 day of dog daycare a week. She's content with that level of stimulation and lounges around the rest of the week.Care details: She usually uses sensitive/puppy soap. care needed to prevent getting her ear wet during baths to not have ear infection. She's accustomed to sleeping indoors, and should have covered kennel to wind down if sleeping outside

Story
Update Ruger is now at the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter. Ruger is 7 years old, ~100lbs neutered Rottweiler-mix. He is a sweet, mature dog who is doing extremely well with the foster home's younger dog and is remarkably tolerant of his puppy energy. He has been living as a companion dog and is accustomed to having a person of his own.Ruger does chase cats. He has not injured one, but because of his size and interest in chasing them, he needs a cat-free home. His current foster has three cats, so she cannot safely keep him long-term. Ruger is neutered. Vaccination and veterinary records are being located/confirmed. His foster can provide additional information about his temperament and behavior as she gets to know him.Ruger came into foster care through no fault of his own. His owner was unexpectedly hospitalized and subsequently moved into assisted living and is no longer able to care for him.

Story
Poppy is 11 years old and weighs around 20 pounds. We adopted her as a 3 month old puppy. Sadly, while we would love nothing more than to keep her, we need to rehome her due to a change in our family / home situation and our ability to continue to care of her.She is spayed and healthy. She is a really playful, happy and inquisitive dog who loves to befriend anyone and everyone. She is best suited for a home where she is the only pet.She is friendly with children but tends to do better with older children. She is a good companion dog and needs only one short walk a day or goes to backyard as needed. She’s also fully trained not to destroy any furniture, household objects or clothes (although she may steal your socks if you keep them within reach!).Please email ckrishnaa@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting her.

Story
Zeus, at first was my older brothers dog but he was too busy and couldn’t take care of him properly so I took him in. He has been my buddy for years now and he is a cool, calm and relaxed dog overall. Loves the sun loves to sleep and or lay next to you. Easy going and not a lot to deal with.I own multiple businesses and cannot take care of him the way I should and I just want him to go to a loving home. He has meant a lot to me these past years and he deserves to be loved and cared for the way that he has been there for me.
