Story
His name is Travis, he's 1.5 years old, very energetic and quite shy, but once he feels comfortable, he can be very affectionate. He's very friendly once he gets to know you, and he loves going to the park and playing with the ball. I'm looking for a family that will be patient with him, that has space for him, and, above all, someone who has a lot of love to give him.

Story
Cisco  is a playful, affectionate, happy little guy who enjoys chasing balls (his favorite) or small plushy toys, sofa cuddle time, long walks, playing at the dog park, treats, and mealtimes. He needs a little time to build trust with his humans before his wonderfully sweet and cuddly personality comes out. The short wait is so worth it! Energy Level?  Medium  House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash?   Cisco  pulls a bit on the leash, but otherwise does very well.  Describe how they are with other dogs?  He generally ignores other dogs at first, but when he encounters one he feels comfortable with, he initiates play. If  Cisco  feels the other dog has crossed a boundary by playing too roughly, he will try to correct them. He's small but mighty! Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  He's good with respectful dogs. He has met one dod savvy cat, and he initially barked at him.  Commands they know? Sit What are their favorite things?  Playing fetch with balls (his favorite) or small plushy toys, sofa cuddle time, long walks, playing at the dog park, treats, and mealtimes. What do they need to work on?  Building confidence with new people, and would benefit from more obedience training. He is a very smart little guy and would learn quickly. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  He's fine being left alone. He will sleep.  Where do they sleep?  He is fine sleeping in a crate or just on a bed on the floor. What is their ideal home?  He would do well in a quiet, adult-only household, either as an only dog or with other respectful dogs. Cisco is 6 years old and 7 pounds. Our Adoption fee is $325.     For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application at www.everypetsdream.org/adopt. Story
Ernie.  Once Ernie gets to know you, he can be s weet and affectionate. He is very cautious with new people and needs slow introductions. Energy Level?  Low to Medium House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash?  Ernie walks well on a leash and is non-reactive. Describe how they are with other dogs?   He generally ignores other dogs while on walks. At the shelter, he participated in playgroups and did well with other dogs. When he first arrived, he didn’t get along with the resident dog, but he’s been improving as he decompresses and relaxes. He could potentially live with other dogs with proper introductions and patience. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they? Ignore cats we meet on walks (cats not moving); sometimes will chase a squirrel if it runs, but will continue walking easily. Commands they know?  He knows how to sit and down. What are their favorite things? Cuddles, kisses, go out for walks, and all kinds of food/treats What do they need to work on? Coping with stress - meeting new people, vet visits, visitors in the home, etc How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone? He is fine being left alone. He is calm and generally sleeps when left alone.   Where do they sleep? His bed What is their ideal home?  He would do best in a calm, patient home with people who understand his needs and are willing to give him the time and space to build trust and confidence. A quieter environment, with fewer visitors, would help him feel more secure as he continues to adjust. Once he feels safe, he’ll show what a genuinely wonderful, loyal boy he is.   The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt . Story
Bullet  is a calm, sweet pup. He loves his people and warms up very quickly. He is happy to jump on the couch and cuddle. He is not hyper, but he still likes to play with toys every once in a while.  Energy Level?  Low energy but not a lazy bum.   House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash?  Great on leash.  Describe how they are with other dogs?  Happy to hang out with other dogs, but doesn't usually play with them; happy to coexist with dogs. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Doesn't seem reactive to other animals  Commands they know?  Knows shake, maybe wait or sit What are their favorite things?  Going on walks and cuddling. What do they need to work on? He gets excited and barks at new people who enter the house, but he quickly calms down and loves everyone. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  He might whine a little and cry, but stops eventually and is fine being home alone. Where do they sleep?  He sleeps in a dog bed but would love to cuddle with you on the bed. What is their ideal home?  Bullet would be great for a family that is home a lot but wants to keep him active on his daily walks. He is very low maintenance and chill, and he loves everyone he meets. He bonds with females very quickly, but he likes men too. He did great on a long road trip, so he's great for someone who travels with him, too. Whoever adopts him is going to have the most perfect little boy! Bullet is 10 years old and 8.5 pounds.
