Story
I originally bought Juno from a coworker who backyard bred their dogs. They were not in a position to keep him as a puppy, and, given my experience living with large working dogs, I thought it best to take him in. Juno was born on November 4, 2022. He is about three and a half years old now, still having that puppy energy, but at a point in his life where he is learning to relax. That is to say, he still loves to run and play, so as a husky owner, meeting those needs is important. He is also very gentle with those smaller than him, dogs and children, a ladies’ man too (idk why), and gets along with just about anyone. He got a couple of tricks and is trainable if you give this good boy a chance to be part of your home.

Story
Rocco is a 6-8-year-old rescue, formerly known as Lil Duke (as noted on his old microchip). He was found on the streets of Sacramento and is truly one of the sweetest dogs. He is lively, full of personality, and loves to snuggle and play with his squishy toys. When excited, he greets us by carrying a toy, which helps prevent mouthing. Once he trusts you, Rocco is incredibly affectionate, enjoys attention, and sploots, while also appreciating his personal space, which he shows by stepping away when needed. He does not like being hugged from behind and can be reactive to other people and pets. He is generally quiet and would do best in a calm, loving home with a patient single person or couple. Experience with reactive dogs would be a plus, as well as someone who truly loves dogs and is willing to give Rocco the care and affection he deserves. Rocco has a large burn scar on his back. While we do not know how it happened, he came to us that way.

Story
Nirai (means calm) and her 4 friends were all dumped in the streets of Fremont. They were all neglected dirty and very matted. She is more timid and nervous than the others. Needs more time to decompress and feel safe at her foster home. The shelter had her shaved down since she was severely matted (See my before and after picture!). She is now relaxing at her foster home. More photos and info to come as she learns and feels safe. Update 1/20/26 from her foster home: She was scared for the first two days but now she is a completely different dog. She sleeps very well through the night in her crate is potty trained and already knows how to use the doggie door to go to the backyard for her business. She is good with other dogs though she doesn’t play with them much yet. She is also great with my 5-year-old son. She loves human company more than dogs for now. She plays with my son and my husband sleeps on our laps and loves belly rubs. She also seems fine when we leave her at home for a few hours. I’m feeding her home-cooked food and she loves carrots and treats. See How Happy now in the links below! Watch my video #1Watch my video #2March 7, 2026, 12:25 pm

Fremont, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Neena (was Tootsie) was at a distant and very crowded shelter for a long time and her time was running out. When volunteers took her out she was friendly and great with all the dogs on leash and in dog play groups (off leash). Did great with transporter. She is very skinny and needs to put on weight. Once out at her foster home on 11/17/21 she was nervous but warmed up fast to her foster home but not to their female husky. She was guarding and reactive to their dog at home. Got into a few dog fights. They are keeping them separate and giving her time to adjust. 11/28/21 Update: Took about a week but Neena is now doing fine at her foster home and with their other female dog. She is the top dog at their home. They love their walks and hanging out. They do feed in seperate areas. She still need more basic and leash training. 1/12/22 Update: Still working on leash training to teach her to stop pulling and not be so excited when seeing other dogs while on walks. 3/28/22 Update: Foster hasn't attempted to test Neena with cats however they can see Neena has a strong prey drive so if the cat runs it is expected Neena would chase. She is now great with foster home's female husky.March 7, 2026, 12:25 pm
