Story
Poppy is 10 years old and weighs around 20 pounds. We adopted her as a 3 month old puppy. Sadly, while we would love nothing more than to keep her, we need to rehome her due to a change in our family / home situation and our ability to continue to care of her.She is spayed and healthy. She is a really playful, happy and inquisitive dog who loves to befriend anyone and everyone. She is best suited for a home where she is the only pet or maybe one smaller dog or cat if they happen to get along. She is friendly with children but tends to do better with older children. She is a good companion dog and needs only one short walk a day or goes to backyard as needed. She’s also fully trained not to destroy any furniture, household objects or clothes (although she may steal your socks if you keep them within reach!).Please email Goodday990@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting her.

Story
Handsom T is an absolute sweetheart who is easy going and social. This friendly 8 year old male adores people and loves to smooch! He's interested, but courteous, around other dogs and should integrate well into a household with one or more large dogs.   His high energy and good mobility would make him a great hiking buddy. Since he's a big athletic guy, a strong handler is recommended for leash walks. Like many GSDs, Handsom loves food more than toys, and is an eager eater. He can be a bit grabby when taking treats, but is responding well to the ‘Gently’ command. He would be equally happy as the one and only with a single adopter or as part of a family with older respectful kids.  ##2638406##

Story
Lola T. is a beautiful 7 year old German Shepherd female weighing 64 pounds. She is the perfect size for adopters of all ages. She easily makes friends with people, and playfully seeks attention in a pushy sort of way. She does well in meeting other large dogs, especially males, and does OK meeting females but she can be a bit dominant.   She loves to sniff around every corner of her environment as a curious soul might do.  We are not sure how she would react to cats, but we do know she does great around older kids.  She is easy to walk on leash, rarely pulling, enjoys her walks and occasionally will exhibit some stiffness while walking. Her overall personality is that of a friendly, playful, very affectionate dog that likes attention and lets you know when she wants that attention, but in a loving way. To top all of this she likes car rides, knows basic commands such as "sit", "no", "come", is house-trained and has good, healthy energy.  If you are searching for a devoted, easy to live with dog, and an affectionate loyal friend, then Lola T. is ready to steal your heart. ##2653114##

Story
Meet Callie T. a German Shepherd girl weighing about 90 lbs. who is roughly 10 years old. With her big size comes a big heart, which can be easily stolen. She is a very gentle soul, and is good with all dogs and older kids (mostly simply because of her size).  Callie T. is house-trained and displays medium energy.  Typical of most of the German Shepherd Dogs she gets VERY excited about car rides (to the point that she needs some Trazodone to take the edge off her excitement). She knows and obeys basic commands such as sit and come. She is a very social, affectionate, friendly dog, that meets people in a heart-felt way especially if they have Charlee Bear treats handy.  Her knees are VERY swollen and can be painful on walks, but she is very stoic about the pain she is experiencing.  She prefers short walks with frequent rest stops. Could this be the dog for you? ##2701555##

Story
Hanzi is a handsome German Shepherd boy with warm brown eyes and a heart to match. He was surrendered to a shelter when his family had to move and couldn’t find housing that allowed a dog. While the shelter noted that he spent most of his time outdoors, he has quickly adapted to indoor living with his foster, where he has developed very good manners, including fast responses to “sit,” “wait,” and “place.” He has a gentle, affectionate, and social personality and would make a loyal companion for an individual or a great addition to a family. He’s proven to be good with children (as young as 4) as well as other dogs. He’s shown no reactivity to other dogs and has spent significant time with two English Cocker Spaniels, who he largely ignores. He sleeps quietly all night in a crate, never making a sound until you’re ready to get up. He generally barks when a stranger comes to the door but welcomes friends quietly. As a healthy, active 8-year-old, he loves his walks both on and off leash. In open space, he has developed good recall skills with his foster, which need to be reinforced to remain effective (as is the case with all dogs). ##2601042##
