Story
I'm Flopsy (half of the Flopsy and Mariah dynamic duo) and I am an affectionate, energetic, playful female German Shepherd.  I enjoy my toys, going on walks, while occasionally pulling on my leash when I see something exciting to me. However, when this happens, I am also learning to focus back to my person as I am eager to please.  Another way I enjoy spending my time is when I get to go for a car ride.  Older kids and large dogs I get along OK with. I like being vocal as it is my way of communicating, but this is usually just when I've just been introduced to someone or something.  I do very well with basic commands, and this can be a way of having fun with me, especially when treats are involved.  In addition to the above, you will find me to be social, affectionate, confident and a loving companion.  Flopsy is looking for an attentive owner who will appreciate her devoted nature and at this point in her life, she is ready and willing to steal your heart.  Will that be yours? I am tightly bonded with my sister, Mariah T.  We need to be adopted together into a home that wants double the love! ##2556012##

Story
Hi, I am Archie, a lovable, active, healthy, and handsome dog, looking for a family that I can have lots of fun with, and also engage in various adventures such as walks, car rides, active play time, and time with toys. I get along with older kids and dogs my size.  You will find me to be friendly and affectionate and I have pretty good leash manners.  Also being house-trained is a real plus.   I’m working VERY hard to become the best dog ever by learning to control the bad habit of greeting people and dogs with my teeth on a hand, arm, leg, etc. It is NOT aggression, just my way of saying hello. Lots of sincere people have been working with me to control this impulsive behavior and they tell me I am making fantastic progress.  But this effort is a ‘work in progress’ so definitely NO SMALL CHILDREN. Gentle, positive training by dog-savvy human leaders works best for me, as evidenced by my ready response to ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘gently’ commands. I respect human leaders that give firm, unambiguous commands and expect me to obey. I am on my way to becoming a very good dog, and a wonderful, loyal companion.  BELIEVE ME, I AM ABSOLUTELY DETERMINED TO REACH THAT GOAL. ##2538905##

Story
I rescued Kodak from the Milpitas Humane society as a 12 week old puppy. He is playful, loves to snuggle, and is eager to please. He is very smart and easy to train. He knows the basic commands (sit, stay, down, come, shake, heel, etc) and he is house, potty, and crate trained. Kodak went through K9 training a year ago and is very good on a leash, however he has some reactivity when he sees other dogs that he still is working on. He currently lives with 4 other dogs that he get along well with. He’s typically great meeting new dogs if supervised, but it takes time for them to warm up to his very playful personality. Kodak is an energetic and an active dog some days, and other days he will sleep in my bed from morning to night. He is my best friend, and it breaks my heart to find him a new home. I am a horse trainer and travel most of the year for shows. Unfortunately, this has shown to be a lifestyle not fit for Kodak. He needs a home where he can be his active, playful self.
