Story
Hi, I am Meeko, and I just might be the perfect match for you.  I am a loyal, 8 year old, 62 pound pup looking for my forever home.  Here is what my foster says about me!  Meeko bonds easily to one person and craves closeness to that person.  She loves attention and affection, but when it comes to food, look out, given a choice between food and her person, food comes first so be mindful of food left out!  Her activities include at least two easy daily walks, car rides where she can put her nose out the window to do sniffing, settling in with family, napping, watching TV and just relaxing.  While outside, she will chase small animals, and other dogs, if given the opportunity.  Lastly she so wants to be with her person that she has a hard time being left alone and likes it best when her family is settled and she can relax.   Meeko would benefit from having an experienced adopter who is able to spend time with her and provide her with the leadership she sometimes needs.  In summation, Meeko is looking for a moderate to active home, and is a precious dog who is sure to bring her new family lots of warmth and love.  ##1915683##

Story
Hello, my name is Mallory and I would like to start out by describing myself as a healthy, strong, seven year old female. I get along with humans and dogs alike (not sure about cats), am house-trained and know lots of commands.  I like walks; however, if I see a squirrel, or another moving object, I may pull on the leash, but after all I am a dog with lots of energy; and this is my nature.  My adoptive owner should know that I need a strong, athletic leader. to guide me becuase I am confident and can be assertive. The best part of me is that I am friendly, social, well-adjusted and you can count on me to be a people pleaser, friendly and who will seek out attention even though I can be somewhat aloof.  ##2159876##

Story
Meet HarveyLuv T, a handsome dog who has a playful sense of humor, is friendly, and has a loving way about him.  He is good with older kids and good with large dogs, not so sure about cats.  He loves his walks, car rides, and enjoys being with and around humans and is a super snuggler with an affectionate manner about him.  HarveyLuv does well on a leash, but will pull occasionally depending what might catch his attention but then responds in a positive manner to being corrected.  What's great about him is that he is fully potty-trained, and know basic commands such as "no", "sit", "come" and more.  Added to the above, he has a great appetite, is goofy, vocal, and has medium energy.  We think he will settle in very well and become the loyal, balanced, and wonderful companion you've been searching for.  He is an all around love and waiting to meet you and his forever home. We do not change an adoption fee and all of our seniors come with a medical coverage plan. ##2223451##

Story
Hi Prospective Adopters!  My name is MacKenzie T, a name I really like.  However, if you prefer you can call me Mac for short.  I am a male German Shepherd weighing about 64 lbs, and the shelter said I was 11 years old.  I still have lots of energy and since I am on a medical regimen to help my arthritis and pain issues, I am acting more like an 8 year old which turns out to be my estimated true age.  Well, OK, short walks are best for me and I do have some difficulty with stairs, but I am still a bouncy, friendly boy, good in the car, social, and pleasantly vocal.  Something I am proud of is that I am quick to learn, well behaved with large dogs and older kids.  Because I have lots of energy, I do tend to pull on the leash and can be reactive to other dogs and people depending on the situation.  I get very excited when people come to see me, especially at meal time, and will often try to jump on them.  I am slowly learning to control this behavior but I need to keep working on this.  I welcome a structured lifestyle where I know what is expected of me.  I have a zest for life even though I was found as a stray with no home to call my own.  We agree with MacKenzie!  Mac is a dog that will sweep you off your feet with his energic, friendly and loving nature.  Whoever takes him home, his caring and gratitude will always be present.  What a wonderful dog he is! ##2148094##

Story
Limiting adoptions to Santa Clara/San Mateo County. Seeking an active adult home with a secure yard. If you want a fun sidekick, with the cutest forehead wrinkles, the longest little legs and a nose for adventure, meet Dot! Dot was the tiniest pup in her litter but she made her presence known! Dot was born under a shed to a very sweet abandoned mama chihuahua mix who did a good job of keeping her little babies safe and warm. When mama and her 2 week old puppies were discovered, we brought them to safety where they were raised in a loving foster home. Dot is a confident girl, who loves to learn, is super motivated for treats and its just hard not to look at her and smile or laugh at her antics. She might be a good candidate for agility as she has lots of energy and likes to explore! Dot is best suited for an active adult home with a yard. She can be vocal on walks and needs slow introductions to new dogs, but LOVES her people!! Dot will need a watchful eye as she likes to adventure. Once the wiggles are out, Dot is a world class snuggler and is super affectionate. Dot is crate trained and potty trained in her foster home but as with any new situation, dogs/puppies will have accidents and there will be adjustment period as they learn their new environment.
