Story
Hi everyone, I'm Ziggy! I'm a handsome 14 year old, neutered male Pit Bull Terrier and I weigh 44lbs. I'm a sweet boy that loves getting affection and cuddles. Don't let my age fool you though, I enjoy going on walks and can sometimes be a playful and silly guy, though at times I can be a bit wobbly and stairs might be a bit too tricky for me. I'm young at heart, but not so young in my bones! If you're looking for a sweet and gentle lad to fill your life with all the love and affection, look no further! Before officially going home with you, I would love to meet everyone in the household, including any resident dogs, so come on over and bring everyone! I'm so excited and ready to meet you all! Ziggy #A0941035 I recently went on a field trip with a PHS Volunteer! Here's how I did: Ziggy was an absolute gem to take on an outing. He loves going for walks. I took him to my car and he eagerly hopped in the backseat (although he needed a boost) and after some initial excitement whining, he quieted down and enjoyed the ride. He was very well behaved in the car; staying in the backseat without being secured. When getting out of the car, he does need a little assistance jumping down from the backseat. He enjoyed a leisurely walk on the Facebook promenade, stopping to relax in the shade, rolling on his back, itching some hard-to-reach places. He was very good with joggers and bicyclists passing by - only looking on with curiosity. When we returned to my car, he was thirsty, and drank a full bottle of water that I poured into a plastic dog bowl. Afterwards, he happily jumped into my car (again needing a boost) and quietly enjoyed the ride back to the adoption center. He is a lovely gentleman who is sweet and appreciative! It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
