Story
Gage is a beautiful stocky blue nose American Staffordshire, estimated to be 5 years old. He has shown that he can live well with both female and male dogs, but no small ones. He loves kids and humans (sometimes a little too much with the kisses). He loves to play, loves to be pet, loves to go for walks. He has spent 2 weeks at a board and train with Wolf Mother K9 to work on barrier reactivity, structure, and overall manners. Unsurprisingly so, he succeeded all expectations. He is healthy, no known allergies, potty trained, crate trained, and he can do fine in a crate as well if he needs to be left home during the work day. He cannot be homed with cats and no small dogs, and since he's like a bull in a china shop, kids aged 10+ are best. Recently, Gage showed us that he is tolerant of chickens! His foster has taken in some chickens and Gage is happy as a clam next to them and does not react to their noises/chirps Gage is currently being fostered in Hollister, CA. Who wants to chill with this meatball every night?!? Nugget is a great companion dog - medium energy, he loves walks especially when followed by naps and/or chews, and he's a champion sunbather. Nugs is crate trained, improving on place, walks well on leash, and with distance and treats (as a distraction) he's learning to ignore his triggers (lawn mowers, bicycles, and bouncing basketballs. Nugget is slow to trust - he needs time to get to know you - but once he trusts you he's a total cuddle bug who melts when given affection. He's dog friendly and has been non-reactive to cats that we've seen on walks (he does not live with a cat currently). Nugget has been to a board & train with Royal K9 to work through some sensitivities. He is overstimulated with loud noises, high pitched noises/voices, or just too much going on, so no kids would be best for this guy. He loves a quiet, calm home with a routine that can give him his space, but love him when he wants it. He's a very independent boy that loves to sploot in the sun and wear hoodies. The trainers said there is no doubt he would bond deeply with his person and be the most loyal companion. Location: Lakewood, CA

Walter, here. Dropping by to say hi! Walter is a young, happy boy, estimated to be 2 years old and was saved from the euthanasia list at Stanislaus county shelter. He is a goofy, yet mellow boy, and love snuggles especially with other dogs! He does need slow introductions to dogs but the love he has for them after is beautiful. He loves playing with his foster sister (dog) and taking naps with her when he can. He enjoys taking walks and being with his people just as much. He is a strong guy, so a confident handler would be best as he does have some prey drive and can be reactive to other dogs he doesn't know. He is currently being fostered in Chico, CA. Opal is calm, dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, and absolutely loves cuddles. She's estimated to be 2-years old and she is a petite girl, only about 30lbs! Opal does have spina bifida and will be a diaper baby the rest of her life. However, this impacts nothing when it comes to her spirit, goofiness, and life span. She is a bundle of happiness, life, and fun in a compact body. She is a healthy dog otherwise and can't wait to find her forever home. Ollie is really the WHOLE package. Straight A+ SuperStar! He is loveable, affectionate and playful! Ollie is a very quick learner who wants to please! He is a medium sized guy weighing in at 44lbs. Did we mention how photogenetic he is?! He is dog friendly, tolerant with cats and kid friendly! He is a young dog that is still learning not to jump from excitement, but has made exceptional progress. Ollie enjoys walks, playing fetch and giving you kisses. He will make ANY home a happy one! Meet Bonnie! She is a 3 yr old Brindle/White petite pit mix and was saved from Turlock Shelter a few days before she was scheduled for euthanasia due to space. She had been in the shelter since October, and came in lactating with no puppies to be found. :( Bonnie is dog friendly but will need a very structured home and very slow introductions to thrive as she has shown some reactivity. Her perfect home though would consist of her being the one and only princess in the house :) She is very human friendly and a very playful, affectionate girl. After decompressing, she has came out of her shell and has shown her foster paw-rents how much she is eager to please everyone. She is a mellow gal, who is working every day on becoming more confident! She is working on her leash manners, and would do just fine with kids 5+. She has been taking pack walks with her foster sister (husky) and has been doing well! She loves to find the sun spot and play fetch in the backyard!
