Story

Papa is an incredibly loving and loyal 3 year old little boy. He was left abandoned on a rental property after his people moved away without him but continued to wait in the yard for months awaiting their return. He loves to play with other dogs (of all sizes) and does well with cats. He also has no problem entertaining himself if he's supplied with his favorite toys. He is extremely friendly once he gets to know you and loves to cuddle. If you sit down he will most likely be claiming your lap.

Boca is our senior gentleman who despite his mature age still has some pep! He likes to go for a walk or have some playtime in a yard, but is mellow and quiet and happy to just hang out with you the rest of the time! He is a male German Shepherd mix, who is approximately nine years old, and currently weighs about 80 pounds. He was brought to our shelter on 1/6/26 after being found in unincorporated San Leandro, and although he had a micro-chip, he hasn't been reclaimed by his previous person, so he's now looking for a new home! He has been vaccinated, has had recent blood work done, is already neutered, and will be micro-chipped before going to his new home. His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Boca qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday and Senior Sunday! Adopt him on a Friday or a Sunday and we'll waive his adoption fee!

Hera is a sweet girl who is medium energy. She enjoys going for walks or a romp in the play yards, but in her kennel, she is quiet and usually curled up in her soft, cozy bed. She is a female Pit Bull type mix, who is approximately four years old, and currently weighs 58 pounds. She was brought to our shelter on 11/9/25 after being rescued from a neglectful situation where she was not being regularly fed. Under our care she has gained weight and her shiny coat is growing back, and now it's time for her to find the kind of loving home that she has probably never had. She has been vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Her spay surgery has been sponsored!

Miles is about 3 years old. We rescued him from a shelter when he was a puppy. No health issues. He prefers to spend time outdoors versus indoors. Surprisingly, he is not an escape artist. I need to rehome him as my family is going through changes in our living situation that won’t allow us to spend a lot of time with him. He needs to stay active and deserves a lot of quality time.
