Story
Meet Frito! This adorable small terrier mix is about 6 years old, perfectly perched between his puppy shenanigans and his golden senior days. Frito may be a bit of a nervous nelly at first, but give him a little time and maybe a few tasty snacks, and you'll see his sweet personality shine through.Frito is the ideal blend of companion and independent spirit. He loves hanging out with his people, whether that means relaxing on the couch or simply being nearby while you go about your day. He's also a big fan of "sniffy walks," taking his time to explore the world one interesting scent at a time. He doesn't need marathon adventures - just a calm stroll and a patient friend by his side.Because he can be a little shy in new situations, Frito would thrive in a home that understands slow introductions and gentle encouragement. Once he feels safe, he's a loyal little buddy who will happily keep you company. If you're looking for a mellow, tender-hearted companion who just needs a bit of patience to blossom, Frito might be your perfect match. 💛 Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 9.1 Age: 6yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Meet Benny, a spunky, active pup who thrives on adventure and lives life in fast-forward. He doesn't leap paws first into new relationships, he prefers to take his time and really get to know them. If there are kids in the home, he prefers older children because they are more independent and easier to communicate with. Whether he's chasing squirrels, zooming around the backyard, or proudly trotting down the sidewalk with his favorite human, Benny enthusiasm is infectious. He rules his domain with playful confidence, he's got a world to explore and a human to dote on. Full of personality and always on the move, Benny's the kind of dog who keeps life exciting, one tail wag at a time. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 35 Age: 2yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Boca is our senior gentleman who despite his mature age still has some pep! He likes to go for a walk or have some playtime in a yard, but is mellow and quiet and happy to just hang out with you the rest of the time! He is a male German Shepherd mix, who is approximately nine years old, and currently weighs about 80 pounds. He was brought to our shelter on 1/6/26 after being found in unincorporated San Leandro, and although he had a micro-chip, he hasn't been reclaimed by his previous person, so he's now looking for a new home! He has been vaccinated, has had recent blood work done, is already neutered, and will be micro-chipped before going to his new home. His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Boca qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday and Senior Sunday! Adopt him on a Friday or a Sunday and we'll waive his adoption fee!
