Hey there all you Video game fans, my name is Luigi! And like the Super Mario Bros, I am a silly, energetic, and active young guy. Right now, I'm about 9 months old and weigh about 40lbs. I'm still growing and could reach around 60lbs as a full-grown adult. I’ve been learning a lot about the great big world and am feeling more comfortable in new settings, but I’m still a little unsure sometimes. Because of this, I prefer adult only households or ones with older children (10+). I'm looking for love and guidance with a family who can help me gain confidence and figure things out! Once I feel comfortable, I can be a sweet and silly boy, so be ready with tennis balls to play fetch with me when I'm not enjoying awesome sniffaris while on fun walks! If I sound like the perfect companion, come on by and ask for me! I would love to meet the whole family including any resident dogs before officially coming home, so please bring everyone. His favorite thing in the world is playing fetch, he's definitely a ball enthusiast and will happily chase a toy over and over again! He's doing great with his potty training and is learning quickly with positive reinforcement and treats. Like any young pup, he's still building confidence, especially on walks, but he's making progress every day as he explores the world at his own pace. One of Luigi's best qualities is how much he loves everyone he meets. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and, after a brief introduction, is always ready to make a new best friend. He's equally friendly with people and absolutely adored meeting families and children at the local farmers market. Luigi is an affectionate, people-oriented pup who thrives on companionship. He would do especially well with a family where someone is home often or can continue helping him build confidence when left alone. He's eager to please, non-reactive, and has such a gentle temperament that he's sure to blossom with a little patience, love, and consistency. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who enjoys playtime, dog friends, and snuggling with his favorite humans, Luigi could be the perfect addition to your family.
