Story
I'm a 2 year old German Shepherd/Border Collie mix which makes me smarter than the average bear. Being a rescue dog, I legit missed my calling as a working dog. I'm super good with people but not really into playing with other dogs because I'd rather be working. Day care is a hard, no thank you. I will valiantly protect you and your home against Amazon, the mailman (who is a bit sketch) and the garbage man. I am house and crate trained and know all of my commands: sit, stay, come, heel, down, shake, high five, roll over, bed and between the legs of my owner. I love to learn new commands and learn really fast. I'm super food motivated and love to snuggle. Hobbies include wrestling, chasing the laser pointer and playing with my rope toy. I don't really mind fireworks but other loud noises (like car doors slamming) sometimes spook me when on walks. Days at the dog park are the best. I live with another dog and I'm the Alpha, so I prefer to be the only dog in the house.

Story
Meet River – Your Loyal Adventure Buddy River is a loving, social rescue who has been a cherished part of our family for the past two years. He joins us at our kids’ baseball, soccer, and flag football games, does great at outdoor restaurants, and is well-mannered in busy environments—even at work. He is wonderful with people and other dogs and would be an excellent candidate for doggy daycare. River is on a prescribed diet and Apoquel for skin allergies, which are well-managed. He recently began medication for separation anxiety. When he is with people, he is very low maintenance, affectionate, and eager to be part of the action. With recent work changes and our children’s growing sports schedules, we are no longer home enough to give River the consistency he needs. He would thrive in a home where someone is around more often to help ease his anxiety. This incredibly difficult decision comes from a place of love and the desire to give River the best life possible.

Story
**Note: Hena is currently in Korea, but she'll be flying to her forever home once adopted. Background Hena, a sweet young girl, was rescued from a city pound in Korea. Since then, she’s been living safely in a boarding house where she has been learning what it means to be loved and cared for. Personality & Socialization Hena may be a little shy at first, but she quickly warms up once she feels safe. She has a very gentle, affectionate nature and loves to be close to people she trusts. Hena is submissive and sweet, and friendly, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She especially enjoys the company of gentle and friendly dogs. Behaviour Quiet and polite, Hena is easy to be around. She has done well during vet visits and even bath time. She is still learning leash walking, but with patience and encouragement, she happily follows her person’s lead. Above all, Hena loves companionship and finds comfort in being near her human. Health & Diet Hena is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. She is healthy and ready to meet her forever family. She eats kibble twice a day and has shown no signs of allergies. Ideal Home Hena would do best in a calm, quiet home with adopters who can give her the time and reassurance she needs to build confidence. A person who works from home or is retired would be ideal, as she thrives on attention and cuddle time. Another friendly dog in the home would be a wonderful bonus, as having a canine friend will help her feel more secure and confident. Hena is ready for a new beginning. She will be a loyal and loving companion to the lucky family who welcomes her home. ---------------------------------- For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/hena/

Story
**COURTESY REHOMING POST** Lupin is not a CACC dog. We have not met him nor evaluated him and can't attest to his health or temperament. Please use the contact information listed to reach out and learn more. Meet Lupin, a two-year-old Shepherd mix and Koda’s little brother. He’s as sweet as they come—a goofy, playful pup who adores his squeaky toys, games of fetch, and keep-away. He’s never known life without Koda, so these two need to stay together if possible, and honestly, they make the perfect pair! Lupin has a big heart and a joyful spirit. He’s great with kids, loves other dogs, and is always so happy to meet new people. When he’s not bouncing around with his toys or egging Koda on for another round of play, he’s perfectly content being a couch potato, snuggling up close for cuddles. Together, they’re a dynamic duo full of love and comfort for each other—and for their people. Lupin is also wonderfully food-motivated, which makes him easy (and fun!) to train. He’s crate trained (during the day), fully house trained, neutered, and up to date on all his vaccinations. Play time with Lupin means zoomies, chasing balls, and plenty of laughs. At the end of the day, he’s all sweetness and love, waiting to snuggle in. Lupin and Koda are a ready-made pair of joy just waiting to bring love, laughter, and adventure to their forever family. If you’re ready for double the fun and twice the cuddles, these two darling boys can’t wait to meet you! For more information, please contact Charlotte at ctmstary@yahoo.com

Story
**COURTESY REHOMING POST** Priscilla is not a CACC dog. We have not met her nor evaluated her and can't attest to her health or temperament. Please use the contact information listed to reach out and learn more. Meet the lovely Priscilla—a dazzling young Doberman who’s ready to begin her next big adventure with a family of her very own! This girl is the whole package: affectionate, well-mannered, energetic, and oh-so friendly. With her soft brown eyes and sleek mahogany coat, she’s not just beautiful—she’s also smart as can be. Priscilla already knows all her basic commands (plus a charming “shake” for good measure!), is crate trained, and housebroken. She’s a social butterfly who adores children, delights in playtime with other pups, and would love a backyard to stretch her legs and zoom around in. Whether she’s chasing a squeaky toy, wrestling with a stuffed animal, or simply cuddling up beside her person for pets, Priscilla’s joy is contagious. She’d be thrilled to share her days with another dog, but she’ll also happily soak up all the love as the center of attention. At the end of the day, what Priscilla wants most is what every dog dreams of—a forever home filled with love, laughter, and her very own family. If you have room in your heart and your home for a playful, devoted companion, then sweet Priscilla is waiting just for you. For more information, contact Olivia at livia1436@aol.com.

Story
**Note: Ohoh is currently in Korea, but he will fly to San Francisco once adopted. Background Ohoh’s life hasn’t been easy. As a tiny puppy, he was found wandering in an apartment complex in Wanju, Korea. He was sent to a city pound, where he spent the next five years chained in a poor shelter with little comfort or care. This summer, Ohoh finally came to us and has been living at our boarding house, where he is safe and loved while waiting for his forever family. Personality & Socialization Ohoh is a gentle, sweet, and loyal boy with a calm, easygoing nature. He has medium energy, happy to go for walks and spend time with people, but also content to relax quietly by your side. He’s very friendly with people, both men and women, and loves being close to his humans. When it comes to other dogs, Ohoh gets along well with gentle, friendly, and well-mannered dogs. He does not do well with overly bossy, dominant, or hyper dogs. Behaviour Ohoh is well-behaved, obedient, and very smart. He bonds strongly with people and follows their lead easily. He rides calmly in the car, tolerates bath time, and is cooperative at the vet. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys outdoor potty breaks, and is quiet indoors. We’ve rarely heard him bark. With a little training, Ohoh will blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion. Health & Diet Ohoh is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on his vaccines. He is dewormed and on monthly parasite prevention. When first rescued, he was treated for anaplasmosis, and he has since made a full recovery. He’s in good health and ready for his forever home. Ohoh eats dry kibble twice a day and has shown no allergies. Ideal Home Ohoh will thrive with a family looking for a calm, gentle, and loyal companion. He gets along well with other gentle, quiet, and well-mannered dogs, but he would be happiest as the only dog in a calm home. A quiet, relaxed lifestyle where he can soak up love and attention from his humans would be perfect for him. Ohoh is an easygoing and affectionate boy who simply wants to be by your side. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky. -------------------------------- For more info about the dog or adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/ohoh/
