Meet Tippy 💕 a 3 year old mix breed who’s as gorgeous, sweet, and tenacious as they come. With her big heart and bright energy, she’s truly one-of-a-kind. Tippy is house trained, knows her basic commands, and LOVES to play catch. She’s insanely athletic, she can jump waist-high from a standstill, so don’t let her fool you! Baby gates won’t stop her love for the outdoors and a good adventure. 🐾✨ Once Tippy has love for you, it’s like love at first sight , she’ll be loyal to you forever. It takes almost nothing to win her heart, and she’ll give hers right back to you tenfold. 💕 She would do best as your one and only pup but has more than enough love to make up for it. Tippy does well with kids over 11 (maybe younger, though not tested yet). While the rescue environment isn’t easy for her, off-site she shines, playful, confident, and happy. With patience and time, her forever family will see just how special she really is. This athletic sweetheart is ready to find her match ……could it be you? 💖

☘️Clover is our longest resident. She has been at the shelter for over a year, waiting patiently for her forever home. This sweet 4-year-old is a gentle soul who just needs a little time to feel safe, but once she does, her love is endless. She greets her people with the happiest wagging tail and loves car rides, pup cups, long walks, hamburgers, and giving soft kisses. Clover is also potty trained, making her the perfect companion for someone ready to open their heart and home.

Meet Lady 💕 a 4-year-young, sassy English Bulldog with the heart of an adventurer! She loves hiking, running, swimming, and power walking (especially to get to her next meal 🍽️)… but she also loves couch time, snuggles, and a good meal just as much. 🐾✨ Lady has table manners 🍴… but she definitely doesn’t respect personal space! She thinks she’s 5 lbs when she plops down next to you, and she’ll happily crush you with a smile. 😄 She’s potty trained, knows her commands, and prefers to be the only dog in the house so she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.

Little Girl is ready to meet her forever family! Behind that adorable face lies a horrific past. Part of another unwanted/unneeded litter Little Girl suffered a fate chosen by the human. From birth to about 7 months old she was living in a rabbit hutch with her mom, siblings and whatever other relatives she may have had. Little Girl was born into a family purely bred to hunt which meant they were treated as possessions not pups, fed little amounts to increase their hunting drive, and kept in rabbit hutches outside to prevent them from running. Every so often the shelter receives a batch of Beagles from this residence, and this time Little Girl was lucky enough to be one of the pups to get “downsized”. We can’t be sure, but we think one of the reasons she was chosen to be surrendered is because of her bowed legs and odd gait. Ironically this is due to poor nutrition, living in a space that is too small while growing, and bad genetics. All faults of the human that had surrendered her. At 8 months old there is little that can be done to help this condition but Little Girl was put on a supplement and given exercises to help correct some of the bowing. Besides looking a bit unusual her bowed legs really do not have an impact on her quality of life. Little Girl still loves to play with her doggy friends and cuddle up with the kiddos at night. Due to the lack of human contact the first 7 months of life Little Girl takes time to warm up to humans. She still cowers and sometimes runs when someone tries to pet her. She is her happiest amongst canine companions and the kiddos. Little Girl is still working on mastering her basic puppy skills of house, crate and leash training. Meet Sara! This little sweetheart came out of the hoarding situation in Brooklyn and is now in a foster home. Sara has never had much human interaction and is now learning how to be a dog! Sara is shy and getting used to human touch. She is one of several dogs who have been rehabilitated by loving fosters who generously give their time to help these gentle souls become family pets. Sara has not yet learned how to walk on leash, but she is wee wee pad trained, so if you are interested in helping a beautiful soul learn about love and attention, ask for Sara!
