Story
Pearl has already overcome more in her short life than most dogs ever should! At just 3 months old and 12 pounds, this sweet girl was abandoned on the side of a road in Puerto Rico alongside her sibling, suffering from a severe skin condition that left her uncomfortable, vulnerable, and without anyone to care for her. Thankfully, rescue stepped in before it was too late. Today, Pearl is fully healed and absolutely thriving. Now that she's healthy, her true personality shines through every day. She is incredibly friendly, playful, and full of puppy joy. Pearl loves meeting new people, making friends, and exploring the world around her. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and especially adores children. In fact, she seems happiest when she's surrounded by little ones and would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a puppy to grow up alongside their kids. Like any young puppy, Pearl is curious, fun-loving, and ready for adventure, but she's also incredibly sweet and eager to be loved. She is the kind of dog who will happily join family outings, play in the backyard, and then curl up for cuddles at the end of the day. After such a difficult start, Pearl deserves a lifetime of safety, love, and happiness. She is ready to leave her past behind and start her next chapter with a family who will cherish her forever. Could that family be yours?

Story
Meet Harry – The Merry Fellow! Harry's story began with heartbreak. He was dumped in the mountains of Puerto Rico and somehow found his way to an apartment complex, where he waited, hoping someone would notice him. Harry doesn't know he's been let down by people—he greets everyone like they're his new best friend. When he was finally rescued, he couldn't have been more grateful. Despite being abandoned, Harry never stopped trusting. Harry is the perfect size at just 23 pounds—small enough to fit comfortably in your lap but tall enough with his adorable long legs and fluffy coat to turn heads wherever he goes. He's estimated to be 2–3 years old, is neutered, fully vaccinated, and fully vetted, and is ready to find his forever home. If you're looking for an affectionate companion, Harry is your guy. He has so much love to give. He absolutely adores people, loves curling up in laps, gives the sweetest hugs, and will gently shower you with soft little kisses. His favorite place is right beside his person, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. Harry is great with kids and cats. With other dogs, he does well but would benefit from a slow, proper introduction to help him feel comfortable and build confidence. We aren't sure if Harry is fully potty trained since he spent time surviving outdoors after being abandoned, but with patience and consistency, he's eager to learn. Harry has already been through more than any dog should, yet he remains incredibly loving and trusting. All he's asking for is a family to love him back and promise he'll never be abandoned again.

Story
WARNING - Heartbreaking story with a happy ending! Brownie has already overcome more than any puppy ever should. He and his two siblings were dumped in a busy neighborhood in Puerto Rico and left to fend for themselves. For nearly a month, they wandered the streets searching for food and safety, only to be chased away wherever they went. Their lives hung in the balance until one concerned person reached out to rescue with an urgent message: "Come pick them up, or I'm bringing them to be euthanized." Thankfully, rescue stepped in just in time and gave Brownie the fresh start he deserved. Today, Brownie is safe, fully vetted, and thriving in his foster home in the States. He's a gentle, sweet boy who may be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long before his loving personality shines through. Once he feels comfortable, he's all about pets, cuddles, and being close to his favorite people. Brownie absolutely loves other dogs and is wonderful with children. He has a kind, easygoing nature and enjoys following his furry friends around, playing, and then curling up for a well-earned nap. Every day his confidence grows as he realizes the scary days of surviving on the streets are behind him. Brownie has done the hard part—he survived. Now he's ready for the life every puppy deserves: a family to love him, a warm bed to sleep in, and people who will never let him wonder if he'll be safe again. He's ready to be someone's loyal best friend for life.

Story
Meet Angelo, a brave and beautiful soul who was rescued just in time. He was found abandoned on the side of a busy highway, looking lost, nervous, and exhausted — clearly dumped by the very people he trusted most. Cars sped by as he stood frozen, searching every face that passed, hoping his family would come back. Thankfully, one kind passerby saw him, stopped, and knew that if she didn’t act, he might not survive. When she opened her car door, Angelo didn’t resist — he quietly climbed in, as if he knew he was finally safe. Now thriving in foster care, Angelo has proven to be a vibrant, loving, and loyal companion. He’s full of energy and joy, always ready for a walk, a run, or an adventure. He’d be happiest with an adopter who enjoys staying active — someone who loves the outdoors and is ready for an affectionate bestie.
