Story
Meet Citrine, the 18-pound Chihuahua mix who is ready to bring a whole lot of love into your life! At just two years old, Citrine is a social sweetheart who has already proven to be a wonderful companion. She has spent her time living happily with three young children and gets along famously with other dogs, making her a fantastic choice for a family looking for a friendly, adaptable new member. Citrine is a girl who truly enjoys the best of both worlds. She has a perfect medium energy level, meaning she is always up for an adventure but is just as happy to be a couch potato. She is a total superstar on the leash and absolutely lives for her daily walks. You might notice her doing a cute little "reverse sneeze" when she gets extra excited or encounters some outdoor allergies, but that’s just part of her unique charm! When she’s not out exploring the neighborhood, you can usually find her playing with her favorite squeaky balls or snuggling up for some quality time with her favorite people. This smart girl is already well ahead of the curve when it comes to her manners. She is both house trained and crate trained, and she’s a very polite houseguest who knows the routine. While she is a little more of a "ladies' dog" at first, she warms up to everyone with just a little bit of time and patience. She’s also a fan of the good stuff, currently enjoying a Blue Buffalo diet to keep her coat shiny and her energy up! Citrine is fully spayed, heartworm negative, and completely up to date on all of her vaccinations. She’s a cozy traveler who feels most secure tucked into a kennel for car rides, making her a great passenger for your next trip. If you are looking for a gentle, fun-loving, and portable best friend, Citrine is the girl for you **Apply to adopt Citrine on our website: www.strongpawsrescue.org**

Story
Meet Dawson, a 6-month-old, 25-lb sweetheart with the gentlest soul and a heart that has never stopped believing in people. Dawson was found eating scraps of trash outside a busy restaurant in Puerto Rico, desperately trying to quiet his empty stomach. As customers came and went, he would quietly approach, hoping someone might notice him. Instead, he was shooed away over and over again, left to wonder why no one wanted him. Thankfully, someone finally stopped. Despite everything he endured, Dawson is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. His tail starts wagging the second you baby-talk him, and he leans into every bit of affection like he's been waiting his whole life to hear kind words. He's gentle, affectionate, and has a calm, loving nature that makes everyone fall in love with him. Dawson is fully vetted, wonderful with both dogs and cats, and is ready for a family who will never make him beg for love again. After surviving on scraps and being turned away time after time, Dawson deserves a home where he'll always be welcomed with open arms. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with the sweetest heart, Dawson is ready to spend the rest of his life showing you just how grateful he is to be loved.

Story
*Courtesy Post for an Independent Rescuer - Whoopi's Official Contract and Adoption Will Be Through Independent Rescuer* Apply for Whoopi Here: https://forms.gle/ujSkHEctK5Fn8hB49 Whoopi is the kind of dog who makes herself unforgettable. This beautiful girl was found abandoned in the middle of the road, left to fend for herself. She was also diagnosed with heartworm, but thanks to rescue and dedicated care, she's well on her way to a full recovery and finally getting the life she's always deserved. At heart, Whoopi is a total lovebug. She absolutely melts for belly rubs, face scratches, and being as close to her people as possible. She's incredibly soft, loves to cuddle (especially in bed!), and while she gets the occasional burst of playful energy, she's mostly a calm, easygoing girl who is happiest curled up for a nap by your side. Her adorable smile and irresistibly squishy cheeks make it impossible not to fall in love. Whoopi is also one smart cookie. She's already potty trained, knows "sit," quickly learns routines, and proudly heads straight to her treat spot after walks. She's respectful in the home, only chews on her toys and bones, and enjoys tagging along for car rides. In just a few days with her foster, she's shown herself to be deeply loyal and devoted - the kind of companion who forms an incredible bond with her family. Whoopi definitely has the best Queen energy!! She would do best in a home without cats, and we're still learning how she feels about other dogs. She had one altercation with a dog known to be dog-aggressive, so it's unclear who initiated it. Because of that, we'll continue slowly introducing her to other dogs and working on her social skills. She has also started leash training with a prong collar and has already made tremendous progress after just one day. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal while she continues building her confidence. Whoopi has overcome so much, yet she still chooses to trust, love, and cuddle with her whole heart. Now all she needs is a family willing to give this sweet, loyal girl the forever home she's been waiting for. In return, she'll reward you with endless snuggles, unwavering devotion, and that unforgettable smile every single day. *Whoopi is currently in Puerto Rico and will be moved to the mainland for a foster or forever home - whichever presents itself first*

Story
Meet Bam Bam, a 3-month-old, 19-lb gentle giant in the making with the sweetest, most laid-back little soul. Bam Bam was dropped off in front of a rescuers home alongside his brother and their starving mama — an entire little family discarded and desperately needing help. Thankfully, they landed in exactly the right place, and Bam Bam has known nothing but safety and love ever since. Of the brothers, Bam Bam is the chill one. He is incredibly cuddly, gentle, and happiest snuggled up close to his people. He has that sweet, easygoing puppy personality that makes you want to scoop him up and never put him down. This sweet boy deserves a family who will make sure he never feels unwanted again.

Story
Meet Romi, a 3-month-old, 19-lb sweetheart who was dropped off in front of a rescuers home with his brother Bam Bam and their starving mama. This little family had been completely let down by humans, but thankfully they were left with someone who knew they deserved saving. Romi is the more athletic and adventurous brother — playful, curious, and ready to explore — but underneath all that puppy energy is a total cuddle bug. He loves affection, being close to his people, and curling up for snuggles after playtime. Romi is currently in Puerto Rico and will be transported to his forever home once adopted. Hes ready to trade his heartbreaking beginning for a lifetime of adventures, cuddles, and being someones very best boy.
