Story

Zoe had parvovirus as a puppy in 2019, and made a miraculous recovery. Once she was out of quarantine, the rest of us entered it, and she never got the socialization she needed. Zoe is loyal and protective. She loves her people once she has gotten to know them. She does not like anything that gets in her space too quickly but she has never bitten people or pets. Zoe loves to fetch more than anything in the world. If you have a yard with a fence and no other pets and want a companion, you could do a lot worse than Zoe. Awkward divorce conditions require rehoming. I will find the right situation for her or keep her as long as needed, but she deserves a better situation than she currently has. Thanks for reading.

We got this sweet girl in February of 2025 at a humane society! She was found on the streets of Tacoma. She was in the shelter for about 2 weeks before we got her. She is very friendly towards people and other animals (besides squirrels). We think she is about 2 years old. She made a perfect pet but unfortunately we are moving out of country and she can’t come with.

Cruz Cruz is pit shepard mix and is a very active and happy boy. Just finished a week at board and train. He is extramely smart and wants to impress, he absolutely loves toys and playing fetch. He is neutered, potty trained and doggy door trained. He will walk on a leash but needs some patience to learn not to pull. He hops right in the car for ride time and loves sticking his head out the window. He will go in a crate but isn't very happy about being in there and will make some noise about it for a while. He preferes to be wherever his human is at and is perfectly content just being near them and he loves sleeping at the end of the bed. He has a deformed ear which is guessed to have been caused by an untreated ear infection earlier in life, it doesn't seem to cause him any pain or issues at this point. While Cruz was around other male dogs with no issues at the shelter as well as board and train he will need slow and supervised introductions to other males in his new home. I have two large male dogs of my own and they just don't want to be friendly with Cruz which has resulted in some agressive interactions. This means Cruz has to be secluded quite a bit of the time which is unfair to him and makes him very sad. This boy is ultimately looking for his forever home but is open to a foster or foster to adopt situation! He is under the care of BAMM Rescue and I am currently his foster. Aspen is listed as a 3-year-old female Labrador Retriever Mix, she was brought in by a field officer after her owner was arrested. She was never reclaimed and was saved from the euthanasia list in Modesto, ca. She was brought in with 2 cats so she is possibly cat friendly. Aspen presents with toe touching lameness LTL; thickening of the elbow with decreased range of motion and muscle atrophy. X-rays show luxation of the left elbow joint, chronic degenerative changes. So basically, she walks with a limp but doesn't let it slow her down! Someone forgot to tell Aspen that she has these injuries! Aspen is happy, energetic, runs zoomies around the yard, very people social and dog friendly after slow introductions. She is a sweet girl, who loves being with her people. Aspen would love the chance at a new beginning, maybe this time one that will be able to shower her with love and affection. I don't know if Aspen will have any medical needs, it is likely that as she ages arthritis will be in her future but as of now she fly's like she's free of pain. ##2483098##
