Story
This is Athena she is a 3 month old german shepherd mix that we got from a flea market. She is very hyper and loves to run outside. She is good with my other dog and loves to play with him. Athena would be great in a household with other dogs once she warms up to them. We would love to keep her but unfortunately we don’t have the time to cater to her needs so we are looking for the perfect home for her.

Story
I got Moose when he was 4 months old. I believe he must have been owned by a man. He loves men and wants a mans attention. He doesn’t seem to be interested in women much. He likes dogs, dog parks, toys, and quiet time alone. He does dog puzzles if you put them out for him. He never barks (unlike my other dog) that has been very nice!!) He does try to dig under the neighbors fence to see their dog but leaves the other neighbors dirt around the fence alone (no dogs live there). He is about 1.5 years old. Neutered, chipped, all shots, dewormed, records available. Potty trained, crate trained but I let him roam free because of my very long work schedule. He knows sit, shake, and lay. I am hoping he finds a home with a man who will be his preferred owner. A man who will have time to give him some daily attention. I barely have 5 minutes on work days to feed and water the dogs. I don’t know how he is with kids or cats. He currently lives with another dog and they are great together.

Story
Jeremy is a cuddly, smart, energetic boy in need of a home who can provide the exercise and attention he needs. He's very sociable and a big time snuggler. He may be 45lbs, but he still wants to be a lap dog. He loves walks, hikes, and new smells. He would do great in an active, outdoorsy household. He's comfortable on a couch, dog bed, bed, lap, or porch. He just wants to be where the people are. He can be shy around new people, but he warms up quickly. He's highly food motivated and picks up new commands quickly. Jeremy is crate trained and knows "sit", "stay", "shake", and "paw" (like shake, but with the other paw). He also knows "no doggie" which is equivalent to "go on". Very useful if you sit down with a plate of food and want a some space. Jeremy is currently recovering from TPLO surgery on May 1st. He's recovering well and is through the hardest part. His allowed movement is increasing each week. He's just bored from being penned up. He'll be fully recovered in July.

Story
Stormy is a great dog, it breaks my heart to part ways with her. She needs someone with more free time, than I can offer. She loves being outside and long walks. She would do best being the only dog in the home. She knows how to sit, stay, shake (with both paws).

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Huxley came to us with his girlfriend Haven a couple of weeks after we took in their 2 baby girls.  Their owner left the country and a family member took them in.  Soon after they realized Haven was pregnant so they kept them until the puppies were ready for homes.  They couldn't keep them permanently because they already had dogs of their own.  So now it's Huxley's turn to find a permanent family that will make his next home his last home.   He's a nice boy and great size at 34 pounds.  Not too small and not too big.  He is house trained and been a nice guest in his foster home.  He was never crate trained and doesn't appreciate being in a crate, not for long anyways (he messed up a crate door to escape when he first arrived).  We are requiring a securely fenced yard for this guy so he can safely explore his yard while out on potty breaks or hanging out with you outside.     Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2025, 2:32 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Emmie came to us about ready to have babies.  She was living with someone in a van for 5 months before we took her in.  With a ton of heartache, and several ER visits, none of her 14 huge babies survived.  They had a great dane daddy. We knew she was thin but once all the babies were out of her, we discovered that she was completely emaciated!  It's now time for Emmie to be someone's beloved girl for the rest of her life!  She is affectionate, lovable, good energy, loves to play fetch! She's quiet and easy in a crate while in foster care.   Here's the biggie, she cannot eat any kibble at all, nor does she drink water.  We do not know why.  We originally fed her forms of raw diet (dehydrated, frozen etc) but have her on canned food and she's doing great.  When we tried to add the smallest amount of kibble to these diets, she got screaming diarrhea, so we quit trying to introduce it.  She gets 2 cans of Natures Domain dog food a day now and is the perfect picture of health.  We understand that she's always been an only pet so we want that for her future.   As far as her dog social skills, she's been unreactive to any dogs on the other side of a fence, crate on a walk.  We were told she's better with males than females Her new family must be homeowners with a securely fenced yard, no exceptions.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 30, 2024, 4:22 pm
