Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  This Russian Toy Terrier came to us from a shelter when no one claimed her and she was turned in with a broken front leg.  We got her leg fixed and the rest of her basic vetting done.  She is now all ready for someone to take great care of her and love her for the rest of her life!  She's even younger than we originally thought as she's gained 1 pound (1/4 of her weight) since being with us and that doesn't happen about 6 months of age on a dog this size.   She is sweet, busy, fearless and outgoing.  She is a dominant personality with other dogs.  The bigger they are, the worse she is. So no big dogs in the home for her.  She is dominant with the littles she meets also.  She's young so would need someone who is willing and able to curb this (we're starting that process now since she's all healed up from her surgeries finally) and maybe, hopefully, she'll calm down and quit reacting to bigger dogs in time.   She will need someone who will keep her feathers brushed and who's able to get regular dental care done for her whole life (as with all 5# dogs).  No young kids as she's an easy target for an accident.  She shouldn't be able to fly out of your arms or off furniture even though she thinks she can!  She still needs regular trips out to potty in her fenced yard, so full time workers outside of the home won't work for her at this time.   If you think you're the ideal home for this doll, please submit our adoption application   We originally though maybe she was a papillon x chihuahua mix but now believe she's a Russian Toy Terrier long hair.  Link below with info about this breed. Russian_Toy_Dog.pdf Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 6:56 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Izzy came to us after her Mama passed and family wasn't able to take her in.  We were told she had no teeth but at her exam, she did have a few rotten molars still so we took care of that and now she is toothless.  She's in good shape for a 14 year old and gets around great with the dogs in her foster home!  She's very social with people and other animals but loves to hang with her people.  She needs a fenced yard or she will roam.  She barked a lot when she first arrived and was probably just confused where she was at as it's subsided to normal Pom barking.   She needs a soft landing with someone who's home most of the time and will keep her coat brushed (it was an awful mess too when we got her with a lot of bald patches from chewing fleas).  Since she has no teeth, we feed her canned food, Nature's Domain, from Costco.  She's done great on it and is in much better shape than when she arrived.   Who can give this doll a well loved and cared for rest of her life? Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 6:56 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites. Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following: Is someone home to raise and train a puppy? Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy? Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment?  This puppy came to us via an eastern WA shelter after being taken from a property with about 45 dogs on it.  They only knew that place so have been shy initially in new places and with new people.  Please expect this if considering one of these dogs/puppies.   She is relaxed when you hold her and shower her with kindness and loving.  If you can continue to shower her with love, kindness, training and all she needs and deserves, please submit our adoption application to get the process started.  Puppies that are not old enough to have received all 3 puppy DHPP vaccines will not be adopted to anyone in apartment or condo residents as they are not protected against parvo or distemper until they've received all 3 vaccines. Our puppies are or will be neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate (they will need additional vaccines), de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.   Vaccine Protocol is as follows: DHPP series of 3 are needed and puppies are not protected against parvo or distemper until they're received ALL 3 vaccines. Rabies 6 months of age Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 20, 2026, 6:12 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit. KONA arrived very pregnant and gave birth to 8 babies Dec 20, 2019!   She is very goofy and has playful energy, but also loves to lay at your feet. She's really a clown as she leaps and pops through the house, even in her older age. She listens really well, has shown great house manners, and is a lovable companion.  This is a good thing because she hates being crated and has busted out of them. She loves playing with her foster's dogs.  They are husky/shepherd mixes, and she is even submissive with them. She's also been around small dogs and has been fine with them, but larger dogs are best for this girl if there are dogs in the home so there's no chance of her running over them.  No cats please. Her new family must be a homeowner and have a securely fenced yard, no exceptions.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.  &#226&#128&#139Please visit our website directly to complete an online application.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 6:56 pm
