Story
Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. This is something that will need continuous work to be corrected.

Story
NEEDS HOME ASAP! Dahlia is a very good dog. She is intelligent, energetic and affectionate 3 year old pitty mix (Staffy, Apbt, Shepherd). She's up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She's *very smart. Picks up on commands quickly. Is motivated by food and play. She has a large vocabulary and communicates with petfluent buttons. She is a strong chewer, plays well with durable toys and doesn't damage household items/understands what is hers. She plays well with other dogs that she is familiar with, but can sometimes be overly excited around new dogs. She is reactive to unfamiliar people/dogs at home or in the car, and will need continued training with barrier anxiety. She is calm, friendly and affectionate to people/dogs in neutral environments or after gentle introduction. She has been muzzle trained and wears/puts them on comfortably. She is an athletic/high energy dog. She would love a secure yard. She wants to explore outside and then be curled up with her people.

Story
This sweet, smart, loving dog needs a forever home. Dumped at an encampment whose residents weren't able to care for her, she wound up on my doorstep. She LOVES people, including kids. Other than enthusiastic, jumpy greetings, she has great manners with people. She loves lounging, cuddling, playing, car rides and walks. Her leash manners are challenged by her reactivity to other animals, but she is otherwise breezy to walk. She is respectful of human food, furniture, and is potty-trained. She's not a barker. She is responsive to training- motivated by both food and praise. She prefers not being left alone but this has improved significantly over time. Her biggest challenge is reactivity to other dogs, we had one unfortunate incident in which she bit an off-leash dog who charged her. I’ve been working with her and sought professional training, but this will likely be an ongoing issue she'll need support with- in an only-pet household and/or with an experienced adopter.

Story
I found this beautiful Husky roaming around the streets of my town in the SF Bay Area. I kept him in my backyard a few days until his owner could be found. No one came forth and so he went to the county animal shelter where he stayed for a week and then was scheduled to be euthanized. I could not let that happen to this friendly, and Innocent dog so I took him home as a foster. He has been with me for 2 months and is a very social and friendly dog. He is about 2 years old. Since I already have 2 large dogs, I do not have room for a third, so that is why I would like to find a permanent home for this amazing animal. He is full of LOVE and is very PLAYFUL! He gets along with kids and cats! He is trained and knows to sit and stay. He is friendly and comfortable with new people- men and women alike. He would be great as an only dog in a family that has older kids (10+ years old) who would love to play with him and walk him daily.

Story
Hi there, I'm Wilbert. I'm a bit on the shy side, you see. I've been through a lot, but I'm learning to trust again. I'm sweet, once you get to know me. It just takes a little patience. I'm not one to rush into things. I like to take my time, get a feel for the situation. I'm looking for a forever home, someone who understands that trust is earned, not given. I promise, once I warm up to you, I'll be the most loyal friend you've ever had. So, why adopt me? Because I'm worth the wait. And because everyone deserves a second chance at happiness.***ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 14 Age: 3yrs 3mths 0wks
