Story
We adopted Masher -5 months ago from Ca shelter. He is up to date on shots and flea and tick meds Very sad we cannot continue to raise him. My wife uses a cane now and is the primary caregiver which means she is unable to walk and exercise Masher. We believe he would be a great fit for a family with a yard as he loves to run and play And needs exercise. He loves to walk around our neighborhood. Masher needs a lot of attention. He is very loyal and attentive to his “person/persons”. We have a large crate for Masher that is 4ftx3ft and will sell for $25

Story
Poppy was a puppy of 10 in her litter. My granddaughter came to me and asked if I could please take one because the owner was going to euthanize all the puppies. I agreed to take Poppy. Poppy turned out to be way bigger and more dog than I could handle at 71 years old with medical issues and a bad back. She is loving, she wants to be by you all the time, she wants to cuddle, she knows how to sit and stay and take a treat nicely I just need her to be able to run and play and live the life that she deserves She runs in my front yard with a 4 foot chain-link fence, but she now knows how to jump over it, and I cannot contain her in the yard She’s a dog that needs to exercise or be walked, and I cannot do that. Poppy is very loyal. She is by my side 100% of the time. She just needs the love and exercise that she craves. Poppy even watches football. Niners here! Please, somebody give her the life that she needs I’m still very much in need of a home for Poppy. Please consider her.12/22

Story
Kira came to us from an owner that no longer wanted her. Our goal was to find her a loving home that can give her what we can't. She is extremely shy but warms up and is full of affection. She has lots of energy and loves to snuggle. Would do best with older children and dogs around her age (1 year old).

Story
Meet Trudy Even though Trudy hasn’t been with us long, her personality is already shining through — and she is an absolute delight. Trudy is spunky, confident, and loves to explore. She’s curious about the world and eager to learn, which tells us she’ll likely be a high-energy, easy-to-train pup as she grows. That said, she also knows how to relax and loaf around with her people once the adventures are done. This sweet girl very much wants to be with her humans at all times and has been wonderful with both our small and large dog. She’s also done great with our 5-year-old son, showing a friendly, playful, and social nature. Our guess is she is some kind of Aussie, GSD, cattle dog mix.  Trudy sleeps well in her crate and we’re actively working on potty training, she’s already off to a great start. And let’s be honest… her adorable little bob tail might just steal your heart instantly, we’ve affectionately dubbed her “big bootie Trudy”.  If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who will happily join you for adventures and cuddle up at home afterward, Trudy could be your girl. ##2643964##

Story
Once in a pretty while Calpaws gets a pretty pittie. I’m the pretty pittie girl you’ve been hearing about… well… not hearing about, because I don’t actually hear but I see everything!  I’m just a puppy and already a total superstar. I sleep all night in my crate like a perfect little angel, and I’m about 95% house trained (which I think deserves extra treats, just saying). My favorite things are people, all of them, chew toys, playing ball, and making new dog friends. If you have hands for pets or a ball to throw, we’re already besties. I’m still learning leash walking, but I’m a fast learner because I love looking at my humans for guidance. I keep excellent eye contact and I’m always checking in like, “Am I doing good? Are you proud? Is it snack time yet?” I have normal puppy nibbling when I play and those silly bursts of zoomie energy that make everyone laugh. Oh! And something extra special about me if you didn't catch it yet, I’m hearing impaired. But I didn’t get the memo that this was supposed to slow me down. I already know my “sit” hand sign and I’m amazing at watching faces and hands. Training with me is like our own secret language, and honestly, it just makes us closer. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, affectionate best friend who will watch you like you hung the moon and celebrate every little “good girl” moment… I’m right here, ready to love you with my whole wiggly self.  ##2637001##
