Story
We've loved Hank deeply for the past 6 years. He brought us together during Covid & witnessed us get married in the redwoods. He’s been our adventure buddy on hundreds of hikes & has taught us to be more patient and understanding. Our baby is now mobile & we’ve been working our hardest with Hank to help him accept his younger brother. It's heartbreaking for us to admit, but Hank is very stressed by having a little unpredictable creature around the house & needs a family without young kids. Personality: Hank is easygoing, sweet, & friendly. He loves to sleep in, go for a nice hike, & then sunbathe until the sun sets. Hank spends hours on our fenced front porch calmly watching people, dogs, and kids go by. He only ever barks when delivery folks come up the steps. He loves to be around people and is in great health. Needs: In the past Hank has had isolation anxiety. We’ve worked with a trainer on this and he’s improved *immensely* but needs someone willing to continue this training.

Story
Check out a video of Kai here! https://youtube.com/shorts/4h6c2AO3pFo?feature=share Who can resist those ears?! And you're sure to be charmed by the silly little grin Kai makes when she wants to play. She's super friendly with other dogs and people and happily greets them with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. She's very affectionate with people and other dogs. She's currently living with two other dogs, a husky and a smaller dog, with whom she plays constantly. When she's chilling-out, one of her favorite pastimes is lying in the backyard watching the rascally squirrels chatter and tease her as well as watching the three little boys next door play in their yard. She peeks over the fence regularly to check if they're outside. Kai is very receptive to direction, has mastered "sit" and a few other commands. She's fully house trained, rides well in the car, her recall is great, and she is eager to please. Kai is a cheerfully energetic girl but also likes to relax outside or nap by your feet. She truly is a ray of sunshine! Kai adores going on walks. She would love to help get or keep her human in shape! Whether you want to take her for a run or just get your steps in, Kai is all the motivation you need to live your most healthy and active life. Kai is smart and, as mentioned above, has been partially trained so she just needs a patient adopter to finish her education. Kai would do well with adults, teens, and kids 6 or older, but no cats. She would also do well with a job to do, e.g. guarding a house from pesky unwanted animals in the yard. This is a wonderful dog waiting for you to discover her!

Story
Frida would do best in a home with low activity. She loves her adventures outside.. going on walks and hikes, but while in her home Frida would like it to be peaceful and low energy. She would do best with another dog in the home and no with no small children or small animals. Frida is a sweetheart, but she scares easily. A more mellow home with less traffic would help her feel safer. If you have any questions or if you would like to set up an appointment to meet Frida please call 707-459-4900.

Petra is a shy sweet girl. It takes time for her to warm up and to know she is safe in her environment. She does well on a leash with humans she feels safe with. Petra will take time to get used to her surroundings. She will need a quiet home with little traffic of people coming in and out. Petra will need time to bond with her immediate family. Story
Meet Henry - a big ol' goofy lovebug who deserves his happily ever after! Henry has been living the best life in foster for the past few months, where he's totally thrived, with beach adventures, hikes, and plenty of snuggles. Here's what his wonderful foster pawrents have to say: "Henry is good with dogs big and small and has great manners, so will let dogs be if they are not interested in playing. He can be a rough player and loves to wrestle with other big dogs if the other dog encourages it. He would likely not be good around cats. He's great with children, I've seen him around kids as young as 2-3 years old and he's gentle with them. He seems to understand they are human puppies. Henry is what I would describe as a medium energy dog. He is a goofy boy and very affectionate. He is a big boy at about 95lbs. I have been bringing Henry to work with me in a small office and he settles and knows the routine. He can be a little barky when new people come into the space, but he knows my coworkers and is excited to greet them each day. He could also be left at home for the workday. He is fully potty trained, only chews on his toys and he would love it if he was allowed on the couch. He sleeps in our living room and through the night. He does not get into the trash and understands counters and tables are off limits to him. He walks great on leash, especially on routes he goes on regularly. He does have some interest in squirrels, so due to his size, we'd recommend a strong handler. He's great in the car and loves to have his head out the window whenever possible. Henry also LOVES the beach!" If you're interested in offering this darling boy a forever home, apply today to meet him! Henry's adoption fee has kindly been sponsored by a generous donor.
