Story

Zombie is a 19 month old Boston Terrier/Bulldog mix we rescued at 14 weeks old. He is very loving, loves to be around people, is potty trained and knows all basic commands. He loves toys and will play fetch all day if he could. We love him, and he does really well with a strong alpha, which is me, but we have to leave town regularly to care for aging parents and he can be aggressive with our petite 21 year old daughter when we are gone. She's scared to put him on his leash or get him in the house. He needs an experienced owner who understands how to be the alpha of the home. We're heartbroken as he's a member of the family and so much of the time he's perfectly fine, but we aren't willing to risk our daughter's safety. Trying to explore all options to keep him housed with loving owners. Thanks for taking the time to look.

A small medium! Zoey was born on September 19, 2023.Her family had to move and could not take her with them. It was sad, but we are trying to help! Meet Kali Kali is a sweet, loving boxer who has been around babies and kids her whole life. She is house trained, knows basic commands, walks well on leash, and loves to run, play, and stay active. Kali does have anxiety and reactivity toward other dogs while on walks. We’ve worked on training for years, but she still struggles with it due to a lack of socialization before we adopted her. She has lived peacefully with a French Bulldog her entire life and does great at home with her family. We are looking for a caring forever home that can give her love, patience, exercise, and understanding. She is deeply loved and deserves the best fit possible.

Are you looking for a fun dog to explore the Bay Area with? Then Moose is your guy! This gorgeous chocolate lab mix has been waiting far too long for his forever family. But he still has the biggest smile and is ready to run, fetch and play. Moose is a champion fetcher and like all labs, also likes the water (though he's not too sure about the swimming part.) He's good in the car and wriggles with excitement when he knows he's going somewhere for a new adventure. He's even down for a bath afterwards! Moose is super sweet but can be a little reserved at first. He is GREAT on a leash, very attentive, checking in with you during the walk or run to make sure he's on the right path. He's also very food-motivated, which makes him even more attentive and easy to train. Moose is not a first-time adopter dog. He has some anxiety and is much happier when he is with you, rather than when alone. He requires an experienced adopter with patience, who can help Moose feel secure and loved. Once that happens, he loves to get zoomies and run all over the yard, showing his appreciation and excitement. The ideal home for Moose is with an active, all-adult family and a yard. Moose will excel in agility, nose work, and any activity that challenges his sharp mind and eagerness to learn something new. Come meet him today - you won't be sorry! Moose is crate trained, neutered, microchipped and UTD on his vaccines. Nellie is a sweet and active 3 yo terrier who LOVES her toys! This playful girl loves to play chase and spend time with her foster Mom, and especially loves to play with the other dogs and cats in the home. Nellie takes some time to warm up to new people, but will eventually become extremely bonded to her new family. Because Nellie is so shy with new people, introductions will be done at the foster home and applicants should be prepared to spend some time with her during the introduction to allow her to warm up and show her true sweet personality.
