Story
Hello my name is Daisy, I am a gorgeous American Staffordshire Terrier and I am more than ready to find my forever home.  Daisy has been overlooked! She has been citing at the humane society shelter for over a 1 year now, poor girl.  Although she is on the smaller side, she has not gotten much attention, less than a handful of 'meet and greets'. Outside her kennel she is sweet and eager to please! However she might need some time to warm up to people.  Other Dogs: The shelter is very small and due to financial and staff limitations, formal dog testing and play groups are not conducted and therefore information is limited. However, the shelter staff tried Daisy, in an enclosed yard on a leash with another leashed dog that was about her size and they played well.  On walks, she shows interest and ignores other dogs that are nearby - that's a good sign! There are no medical concerns for Daisy other than she can have skin issues if she is in the sun too much, like any white dog. From one of the volunteers - "Daisy can take time to warm up to people, but once she does she's a big time lover. She enjoys cuddling and leaving you completely covered in white fur." And another volunteer said - "With me she has always been silly and affectionate. She loves to be the center of attention, loves to sit on your lap/give kisses, and loves to roll around in the grass." I am currently living at  San Gabriel Valley Humane Society, in San Gabriel, CA (Los Angeles County).  The shelter's phone number is 626-286-1159 - contact them to meet me, pretty please! California Pit bull Rescue is an official 501(c)(3) and requires an adoption application and $200 donation fee for all adoptions.October 24, 2024, 1:31 pm

Story
Nellie is a sweet and active 3 yo terrier who LOVES her toys! This playful girl loves to play chase and spend time with her foster Mom, and especially loves to play with the other dogs and cats in the home. Nellie takes some time to warm up to new people, but will eventually become extremely bonded to her new family. Because Nellie is so shy with new people, introductions will be done at the foster home and applicants should be prepared to spend some time with her during the introduction to allow her to warm up and show her true sweet personality. Nellie is UTD on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. If interested in meeting Nellie, please complete an application at jellysplace.org.

Story
Meet the Mooshy Mochi! We love this big headed boy! He is super trainable and such an affectionate fella. Check out the report card from his foster mama ... &#226&#128&#139Crate Training (A+): He is a total pro. He’s been crate trained since day one—no whining at all, and he sleeps in there like a baby. Zero anxiety. Walking (A-): He is very polite and sticks right by my side. I used the starmark collar a couple of times and he was great. He shows zero leash reactivity toward other dogs! He still gets a little spooked by loud noises or those big Christmas inflatables at night, but his confidence is growing daily. House Training (B-): Not quite 100% yet. We’ve had a few pee accidents, but he’s never marked and he really tries to make it outside. He’s very trainable, so I think he’ll get there soon. Other Dogs (A-): He and Gloria are doing great! They coexist peacefully and love napping in the sun together. He didn't even react to our neighbor’s barking Chihuahua through a fence! If he hears another dog start barking, he startles easily and will bark back. But I think that’s pretty normal for most dogs. &#226&#128&#139Cats: Unknown, but based on his mellow demeanor, I think he could be trained to coexist with kitties. People & Kids: He is great with strangers but gets very excitable and jumps up to say hi. Because of the jumping, he’d probably do best with experienced owners, if there are young toddlers in the home. Food & Toys: He’s a fast eater (might need a slow-feeder bowl!), but he’s learning to "sit and wait" for his food in his crate. Best of all, he’s not possessive—he lets me take toys or bones right out of his mouth. Mochi is going to be the perfect companion for a lucky family! Story
Meet the adorable Isaac aka THE class clown! Looking for a dog that will put a smile on your face (and others) every time you look his direction?! That's Isaac! He is sweet and social and enjoys meeting new people. Issac is fostered with another dog and is enjoying walks with her (he is full steam ahead at first and then runs out of steam pretty quickly). He enjoys playing ball and with toys. Isaac is crate trained and potty trained and rides well in the car. Message us for more info and to meet this cutie pie - who's only 40 and 4 years old. Story
Chewbarka is only 9 months old and 2 pounds, but so heavy on charm and sweetness! He may be shy in new situations, but quickly warms up and asks for lots of love and pets. Chewbarka has not shown any reactivity towards other dogs, and loves people. Chewbarka came from a kill shelter where he was diagnosed brachycephalic with a heart murmur. For this reason, the Shelter was not able to neuter him. Chewbarka is current on his vaccines and is microchipped. If interested in meeting this adorable boy, please complete an application at jellysplace.org.

Story
Hi! I’m Nana. Goofball, toy enthusiast, and recovering street kid. I’m a 1–2-year-old spayed bully mix found on the streets of Stockton. I’m living the good life in foster care in Reno & SF and learning how awesome being safe and loved can be. I’m a smart cookie and I love learning. I already know crate, sit, stay, leave it, recall, and down. I’m also potty trained. Treats are my love language and training with a behavioral trainer has been a blast and helped me build confidence. The shelter folks said I’m friendly with male dogs, and in my foster home I haven’t shown aggression toward the resident female dog - though I do best with the boys with slow introductions. I would do best with an experienced owner to guide my success as I enter adulthood. Contact Janice to meet Nana and for more info at Janicekwalden@gmail.com or Katy at 415-439-9752 California Pit bull Rescue is an official 501(c)(3) and requires an adoption application and $200 donation fee for all adoptions.February 6, 2026, 6:17 pm
