Story
Nellie is a sweet and active 3 yo terrier who LOVES her toys! This playful girl loves to play chase and spend time with her foster Mom, and especially loves to play with the other dogs and cats in the home. Nellie takes some time to warm up to new people, but will eventually become extremely bonded to her new family. Because Nellie is so shy with new people, introductions will be done at the foster home and applicants should be prepared to spend some time with her during the introduction to allow her to warm up and show her true sweet personality. Nellie is UTD on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. If interested in meeting Nellie, please complete an application at jellysplace.org.

Story
Chewbarka is only 9 months old and 2 pounds, but so heavy on charm and sweetness! He may be shy in new situations, but quickly warms up and asks for lots of love and pets. Chewbarka has not shown any reactivity towards other dogs, and loves people. Chewbarka came from a kill shelter where he was diagnosed brachycephalic with a heart murmur. For this reason, the Shelter was not able to neuter him. Chewbarka is current on his vaccines and is microchipped. If interested in meeting this adorable boy, please complete an application at jellysplace.org.

Story
Sylvester is a wonderful, happy, affectionate black lab mix who is the perfect family dog. Sylvester has been staying at the home of one of our volunteers who has this to say about him: “Sylvester is an all around amazing dog. He’s great with my 3 year old and 3 month old kids. He can stay calm inside for hours which would make him a great work-from-home dog, he’s very affectionate, he’s great on a leash and isn’t reactive at all to any person or animal. He’s just about perfect!” He was found in Stockton with a broken jaw, which has healed very well on its own. His Vet does not recommend rebreaking it because it will weaken his jaw. Sylvester walks great on a leash, rides well in a car and loves hanging out on the couch with his favorite people. Sylvester loves anything that squeaks and is excited to go through our informal agility course. He knows sit and down and is working on stay. He is a sweet boy who would do well with an active family with kids who like to go on adventures, take long walks or jog around the neighborhood and chill on the couch. He gets along with other dogs and cats and all people. Sylvester is neutered, microchipped and UTD on his vaccines. If you want to meet Sylvester, please apply at jellysplace.org/forms

Story
Are you looking for a fun dog to explore the Bay Area with? Then Moose is your guy! This gorgeous chocolate lab mix has been waiting far too long long for his forever family. But he still has the biggest smile and is ready to run, fetch and play. Moose is a champion fetcher and like all labs, also likes the water (though he's not too sure about the swimming part.) He's good in the car and wriggles with excitement when he knows he's going somewhere for a new adventure. He's even down for a bath afterwards! Moose is super sweet but can be a little reserved at first. He is GREAT on a leash, very attentive, checking in with you during the walk or run to make sure he's on the right path. He's also very food-motivated, which makes him even more attentive and easy to train. Moose is not a first time adopter dog. He has some anxiety and is much happier when he is with you than when alone. He requires an experienced adopter with alot of patience who can help Moose feel secure and loved. The ideal home for Moose is with an an active, all adult family with a yard. Moose will excel in agility, nose work and any activity that challenges his sharp.mind and eagerness to learn something new. Come meet him today - you won't be sorry! Moose is crate trained, neutered, microchipped and UTD on his vaccines. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted. 1/2 of Moose's adoption fee is being sponsored by a Jelly's Place volunteer.

Story
Edgar is an energetic and playful dog who has never met someone he didn’t like. He likes to bark through fences and is still learning to walk gently on leashes, but he has gotten along well with all of the dogs we have introduced him to. He would probably do well in a home with other excitable, similarly-sized dogs with whom he can play. Edgar is also very people friendly, and would likely do well in any kind of family that can give him the exercise he needs. Edgar is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccines. His adoption fee goes toward these costs.

Story
Hi, I’m Breezy! I was adopted from Jelly’s Place when I was a puppy 2 1/2 years ago, and I had a good home. But now, sadly my mom is passing from a terminal illness and I need a new home. I am being temporarily fostered, in a Board and Train with a great trainer and his 2 dogs who I love, but I need a long-term foster or better yet, my forever home! I am a good girl! I am very smart, eager to please, confident, friendly and I love all people. I never have accidents in the house or chew anything that is not mine to chew. I am an active dog who would love a yard to run around in. I am the perfect, medium sized dog, around 40 lbs; not too big and not too small. And I ride very well in the car. I love playing catch with my ball! I am incredibly good at it and catch them almost every time! I also love to run on the beach and play with lots of different dogs. I like to play rough and I sometimes make loud noises when I play. But that is my way of saying I am having a great time. I do get very excited and have been getting training so I don’t jump up on people, walk calmly on a leash and share my balls. But I am super smart so I am learning very fast. I go to the dog park with my new dog buddies all the time and we have so much fun! My ideal home would be an active family with older kids, a yard, another dog and an unlimited supply of balls. I hope my forever family will have plenty of time to play with me and teach me lots of new things since I really like that. If they give me treats, I would like it even more. I am spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped and looking for a new family to love me. If I sound like I might be a good fit, please apply to meet me at www.jellysplace.org.
