Story
I adopted Isabella from Little Love Rescue in Los Angeles in February 2018 after she was surrendered by a breeder in Malibu. She had several litters of puppies before she arrived at the rescue. After eight years together, my life and work schedule has changed where I'm not able to give her the extra attention and care she needs. She is about to turn 10 years old and requires a higher level of care, along with special food and management of arthritis in her hips. She gets daily cold laser treatments, three walks a day, and two feedings a day. She's very sweet, affectionate, and loves to play. But as she ages, I don't have the bandwidth to give her proper attention, especially with four other animals to care for. I'm looking for an adopter who has prior experience with French Bulldogs and their particular health issues as they age: digestion and mobility. If you have experience with caring for Frenchies, send me a message to set up a video chat and see if your home is the fit for Bella!

Story
Meet Max! A handsome young black Lab mix with a remarkable back story: rescued from the Grand Canyon with his pups, he is a gentle, well-behaved companion who adores people and gets along great with other dogs. Max walks politely on leash (with the occasional stubborn moment), loves to play a little, but mostly prefers to lounge outdoors and soak up the sun. Healthy, affectionate and low-key, he would thrive in a home with some outdoor space; and if you have room in your heart (and home), he would be over the moon to go with one of his more adventurous pups.

Story
Duna is 7 months old and 23 lbs. Duna is an extraordinary dog - joyful, playful, sweet, loyal, and snuggly furry friend. She is a beautiful girl who loves her outfits and loves to greet and kiss every human who crosses her path. She is a good sleeper and sleeps through the night. Duna does very well with all dogs. She is great at chilling at a cafe or in a park, car riding, and on planes. She makes friends everywhere she goes - Wags her little tail nonstop. She is a real flirt! She loves her toys. She is quiet - NOT a barker at all (perfect for someone who works from home). She was found on a highway, underweight and needing a home. We would love Duna to go to a great home, with a backyard a plus. She will make you smile constantly. Here is a bit more info: She is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and potty trained. She is great with people and other dogs (she is BIG fan of small dogs). GOOD WALKER: Yes - CRATE TRAINED: Yes FOOD MOTIVATED: Yes - GREAT WITH PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS: Yes

Story
Meet Rusty! Rusty is a 2½-year-old Chihuahua mix with a gentle soul and a quietly sweet personality. At just 15 pounds, he’s the perfect medium small companion, easy to manage, easy to love, and happy to be near his people. Rusty came into foster care shy and unsure, but he’s made huge progress with consistency and patience. He’s now a cuddly, friendly little guy who enjoys lounging on the bed, getting belly rubs, and tagging along for walks. He does well on leash, is potty trained, and is calm in the home. He rarely barks, which makes him a great fit for apartment living or shared spaces. He gets along well with other dogs and people and would do great in a home with another dog to help build confidence, though it’s not required. He hasn’t interacted with cats or children yet, but his gentle, submissive nature suggests he’d likely do fine with proper introductions. Rusty isn’t flashy or demanding. He’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply once he feels safe. His biggest motivators are food, affection, and cuddles, and he responds best to a calm, reassuring environment. He’s still learning basic commands, but he’s eager, food motivated, and improving steadily. Ideal home: A patient adopter who understands shy dogs, ideally with another friendly dog and possibly a small yard, but Rusty can thrive in most homes with love and structure. Why adopt Rusty? Because he’s incredibly sweet, calm, quiet, and loyal. He’s the kind of dog who will curl up next to you, follow you from room to room, and slowly but surely become your shadow. Rusty is ready for a forever home where he can continue to blossom. If you’re looking for a low key, loving companion who just wants to be part of your world, Rusty might be your guy.

Story
Max is an amazing dog with a loving personality with those he trusts and loves. He is always excited to see people he recognizes and doesn’t hesitate to show it. He is a great pup inside, content with following your lead— whether it be an easy going day on the couch or a busy day of errands or exercising. He absolutely loves to play and would do best in a home with a family that seeks this type of interaction from their dog. Max would not be the best companion for a family with children or frequent visitors as he can feel threatened by strangers. His foster has been working with him to walk and socialize with a muzzle as needed. Max enjoys going for walks, hiking and playing fetch on an open field or beach. We’re looking for experienced dog humans who want a dedicated companion. Max will thrive in a patient, loving and safe environment. Interested in giving Maximus a forever home? Apply now and meet this beautiful and loving dog.
