Meet Gus! 🐾 Gus is a handsome 2-year-old neutered male pitbull with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. This sweet boy has been through a lot, but he continues to show everyone just how resilient and affectionate he truly is. Gus does have some special needs, and he is looking for a committed adopter who will help him continue thriving. He takes daily Prozac to help manage his anxiety, and it has made a wonderful difference in helping him feel more secure and relaxed. He is also undergoing laser therapy on both of his back stifles due to a previous injury, and he has been responding very well to treatment. With continued care, gus is expected to keep improving! In addition, Gus has food allergies and is currently on Hill’s Science Diet z/d, which has been working great for him. Staying on this diet will be important to keep him feeling his best. Gus would do best in a patient, loving home and giving him the support he needs! 💜

Ace is six years old, I got him from a breeder with paper. I may have to look for the documents because I did think I would ever need to use them. Ace is a loving and fun family member of my life and is always happy. Very playful and happy. Definitely a house dog. He has a strong bark and yet doesn't realize his strength.

We have a beautiful dog named Teddy who is 7 years old, but unfortunately, needs a new home. We got Teddy before we had kids, and although he's a fun dog, we just don't have the time for him or a home that he is suitable bc of our young children. He has a great temperament, very active, and very lovable. It breaks our heart to have to rehome him, but he does need to go. I have dog bowls, lead, anxiety metal crate, etc. We're looking for a young family with kids or a couple who is active who wants to take him. I have had her for a year now. She is just 14 months old. She has grown up with my 4 years and 3 years old boys. SHe is very good with kids and other dogs. I am trying to keep her but my work schedule is changed and he needs to be at the crate for 11 hours. I am a single mom raising kids my own since my husband had abandoned all of us. I am financially so short to support even kids now. I love her a lot as a family but all complicated situations let me surrender her. SHe is good with strangers and neighbors. Thank you. Also, she is AKC and CKC registered but my husband has a document. He doesn’t contact us at all so you might need to register your own.

He was found loose in Indiana and spent several months in a shelter. He is fearful and shy when meeting new people. He will bond very strongly to a female and would thrive with someone who wants a loyal little shadow. Waylon is crate trained and also potty trained using a dog door. He gets along well with our 3 beagles and is a true couch potato at heart. He enjoys quietly playing with his toys and chewing on his Nyla bones before curling up beside "his person." Waylon would do best in a quiet, female-only household with a secure 6-foot wooded fenced yard. Another calm dog could help him continue building confidence. He needs someone patient and gentle who wants to continue his training and socialization building. She was obviously very much loved in her previous home, but sadly, her mom passed away. Now, at 8 years old, Cori is looking for a forever home where she can be spoiled again. An adult-only home where she can have ample time to settle in would be best for Cori. She would prefer a quiet lifestyle (no cities or busy neighborhoods for Cori) and would like to be the only dog in the household. That being said, Cori enjoys her visits to doggy daycare where she can socialize with other dogs. Cori also does well with cats. Cori will thrive in a home where she has a regular routine and will be walked daily so her beagle nose can be used to its fullest potential. She’s house trained, but she doesn’t potty on leash, so a fenced yard is a must. Car rides with Cori are a breeze – she’s the perfect passenger when it’s time to hit the road! Because Cori was displaying some behavior that we wanted to better understand, we sent her to a certified professional dog trainer. Cori was already on medication for general anxiety, and she underwent thorough behavioral and medical evaluations to determine if there was something else that was affecting her behavior. We discovered that Cori’s underbite was causing a lot of jaw pain, and her discomfort was affecting how she interacted with the world. Since starting daily anti-inflammatory medication, Cori has bloomed beautifully. According to her trainer, she now has a good appetite and is a “total foodie.” Her confidence has increased, she’s more playful and more at ease meeting new people, and she has learned to ignore distractions while she’s on leash.
