Story
Max was born on Christmas on a farm in the thumb area. He was re-housed by a family connection and we got him as a gift for our son’s third birthday. Our son has since had a seizure and been diagnosed with epilepsy and we are unable to keep Max due to those complications. He is sweet. He loves attention and walks and playing fetch. He is house trained other than when new people come around and he trickles a little. He can sit on command and is working on not jumping. Max is very anxious about car rides, the vet and grooming. We have an anxiety med for these situations since grooming is a must with border collies. He is a puppy with puppy energy. He is not yet neutered but is fully vaccinated and up to date on monthly flea/tick/worm prevention. Max will come with a beautiful wood crate, his toys, bowls, lick mats and walking leash with no-pull harness. He will be a great addition to any size family but really little kids may be too small for his energy.

Story
Zander is a friendly, energetic dog born on April 21, 2023, and looking for his forever home. He has grown up around young children and loves being part of a family. We took him in from my mother who was no longer able care for him, but our home simply is not large enough and we don’t have capacity to give him the attention he needs. He is housebroken (with occasional accidents) and well-behaved, he is non-aggressive, though he does love to chew, so strong toys are a must! Zander will thrive in a home where he can get lots of love, has space for playtime and gets attention. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a playful spirit, Zander is ready to meet you. Contact us to give him the home he deserves!

Story
Age: 18 months Good with dogs? Yes Good with cats? Yes Good with kids? Older Energy Level: High Adoption Fee: $500.00 Any other info: This breathtaking soul has crossed an ocean in search of something she's never truly known: safety, kindness, and love. This stunning Spanish Galgo beauty was rescued from heartbreaking conditions in Spain, where life was anything but gentle. Used and discarded, she survived more than any dog ever should. And yet… here she is. Soft eyes. Tender heart. Still willing to try again. Now safe in America, she is learning what it means to rest without fear. To be spoken to kindly. To feel a gentle touch. Understandably shy and nervous at first, she watches the world carefully but beneath that caution lives sweetness that will absolutely bloom with patience and time. Every small tail wag, every brave step forward, is a victory. Galgos are known for their quiet elegance, soulful eyes, and incredibly gentle spirits. This girl embodies all of that and more. She doesn't need perfection — she needs compassion. She needs calm homes, loving hands, and families willing to give her the TLC she has always deserved. After the unimaginable life she's endured, it’s her turn for soft beds, warm blankets, and a forever that feels safe. With patience and love, she will reward you with the kind of devotion only a rescued heart can give. She has survived. Now she is ready to live. * Lupita is 18 months old and although she is shy and nervous, she is outgoing once she is comfortable with you. She was in a home doing well with cats but was not comfortable cuddling with the cats so she may need a home without feline friends. This stunning girl is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative. She has been around other dogs and needs a calm loving home to show her what it means to be a part of a family. Story
Age: 3 Years Good with dogs? Yes Good with cats? Unknown Good with kids? Yes Weight: 50lbs Adoption Fee: $320.00 Any other info: Meet Junebug. This stunning shepherd mama has officially retired from raising her babies and is ready to start the next chapter of her life being someone’s baby for a change. After giving her all to her pups, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled, loved, and cherished. Junebug is likely an Aussie Shepherd mix, and she is absolutely breathtaking with a vibrant personality that shines just as bright. She’s playful, goofy, and full of life, and sure to keep you smiling every day. One of her favorite things? Jumping on the trampoline with her dog friends like she’s part of the party and yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds! She’s got plenty of energy and would thrive in an active home that embraces her fun-loving spirit. But she’s not just all play. Junebug is also wonderfully well mannered. She’s crate trained, house trained, and not destructive, making her a joy to have in the home. She’s respectful, smart, and eager to be part of the family. Junebug does best with dogs her size, especially confident ones who can match her energy. Because she can be a bit too much for smaller pups, a home without small dogs is best. She would do great with dog-savvy kids who understand her playful enthusiasm. Junebug is around 3 years old, soon to be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention. Above all, Junebug is incredibly friendly and full of love. She has that special way of making you feel like the best part of her day every single day. Her puppies have all grown up and are finding their way…now it’s Junebug’s turn to finally find a home of her very own. If you have the best home for this loyal girl, apply today through the link below. https://form.jotform.com/201977724595065 Once your application is processed and approved, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet with the Junebug. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees includes the pets spay or neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm + flea + tick disease testing, fecal check, and any medical care needed while staying with us. Story
Age: 10 Months Good with dogs? Yes Good with cats? Yes Good with kids? Older Weight: 17lbs Adoption Fee: $350.00 Any other info: Meet Schist. At just 10 months old, Schist has already overcome more than most pups ever should. She came from a hoarding situation with over 60 dogs, and while the world is still a little new (and sometimes scary), she’s slowly discovering what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished. Schist may be shy and nervous when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience, and you’ll see her true self shine through. Once she knows she’s safe, she turns into the sweetest little shadow, snuggling close, climbing into your lap, and soaking up every bit of love and attention she can get. She’s food motivated which makes bonding and training a breeze, and her adorable ears and stunning striped markings make her as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Because of her past, Schist will need a secure home and a family committed to keeping her safe. She can be a bit of a flight risk when she’s unsure. A calmer home without young kiddos will help her continue building confidence at her own pace. Schist is around 10 months old and has been spayed here with us. She is also microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and kept on prevention here with us. With stability, patience, and love, Schist is going to blossom into the most loyal, devoted companion. She’s just waiting for someone to show her that forever really does exist. If you have the best home for Schist, apply today through the link below. https://form.jotform.com/201977724595065 Once your application is processed and approved, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet with the Schist. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees includes the pets spay or neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm + flea + tick disease testing, fecal check, and any medical care needed while staying with us. Story
Age: 11 Weeks Good with dogs? Yes Good with cats? Yes Good with kids? Yes Adoption Fee: $350.00 Any other info: Meet the Terrier Tots! Some stories begin with heartbreak, but this one is all about hope. These precious terrier mix puppies were born right here at our hospital on March 24th after their beautiful mom was rescued from a severe hoarding situation. Thanks to her rescue, these little ones have never known anything but safety, love, full bellies, and endless cuddles in their life. And just look at them!!! With their short little legs, adorable spotted coats, and gorgeous brown and black coloring, they are every bit as stunning as their mama. But their good looks are only the beginning of everything they have to offer. These pups are growing into happy, friendly, curious little personalities. Some are brave explorers, some are expert snugglers, and some are the life of the party, but every single one is overflowing with love and ready to find a family of their very own. They spend their days playing, wrestling, napping in puppy piles, and dreaming about the people who will one day call them family. Families who will teach them about walks, toys, treats, adventures, and the joy of belonging. After everything their mom endured, there is nothing we want more than for each of these babies to grow up surrounded by love for the rest of their lives and never know the struggles of where they came from. Any family would be incredibly lucky to welcome one of these special puppies home. The real question is...which lucky puppy will get to be yours? Their adoption fee does include their spay/neuter procedure as well as age appropriate vaccines and microchips. Apply today through the link below and give one of these sweet babies the happily ever after they deserve. https://serenityanimalhospital.net/dog-adoption-application/ Once your application is processed and approved, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees includes the pets spay or neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm + flea + tick disease testing, fecal check, and any medical care needed while staying with us.
