Story
Say hello to Ping, the adorable and intelligent poodle mix with a heart full of love to give! This sweet boy is still learning to trust humans, but don't let his initial shyness fool you—once he bonds with you, he'll be your loyal companion for life. Ping is a happy, higher-energy pup who absolutely thrives in the company of other dogs. He currently lives with his canine best friend and two cats, and he flourishes with their companionship. He's playful, smart, and loves his toys—especially ones he can chew on! You'll often catch him doing the most adorable poodle move: standing on his hind legs and waving his paws in the air. Ping needs a home with at least one other confident, friendly dog who can be his buddy and help him build confidence around people. He'd do well with cats too, especially playful ones! While he's still working on basics like potty training and leash walking, his intelligence and treat motivation make him an excellent candidate for positive reinforcement training. Ping is timid around new people and prefers to take things slow. He'll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him blossom at his own pace. He can be a bit protective of his food bowl, so a home experienced with managing meal times would be best. Pings ideal home will be: -Homes with another dog (required!) -Patient, understanding owners -Active families who can provide mental and physical enrichment -Someone who appreciates a smart pup with tons of potential Ping is waiting for that special someone who will see past his shyness and recognize the wonderful, loving companion he's destined to become. Ping is: 12lbs 3 years old Neutered, utd on vaccines, microchipped, fecal tested. Dog, cat and expected to be kid friendly. Apply here: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Meet Grace!!! Grace to us when she was found as a stray in Detroit and sadly no one came for her. Her finder stepped up to foster her and the rest is history!!! We estimate Grace to be 6-7 months old. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Grace has met cats and children while in foster care and has done great with them. She LOVES other dogs and would really enjoy another pup in the home! Grace is working very hard on her potty training and her crate training. She sleeps in the crate through the night and is learning to like the crate more and more each day. Grace has started going to the door when she needs to go outside and with continued consistency we feel she will be 100%potty trained in no time. She is a SUPER smart puppy that is very eager to learn. Grace displays your typical puppy energy and behavior. She loves chewing on toys and bones and definitely will require exercise everyday. If you are looking to add a beautiful and sweet puppy to your family, APPLY TODAY!!!! *Approx. 6 months old *30 lbs. of cuteness *Spayed, UTD on vaccines and microchipped *Dog, Cat & Kid Friendly *Doing great with her crate and potty training *Medium to High Puppy energy Application: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
💛 Meet Lieutenant Dan AKA Dan the Man! 💛 This big teddy bear is basically a 60-pound marshmallow wrapped in velvet! Lieutenant Dan is proof that the biggest hearts come in the strongest packages. He's mastered the art of being a proper gentleman — crate trained, walks like a dream on leash (impressive for such a sturdy boy!), and has the calmest, sweetest energy you could ask for. Let's talk about those looks... absolute dreamboat status! But his personality? Even better. This perfect house hippo loves a good toy session now and then, but he's not about that chaos life. He's gentle, careful, and when he rests his big paws on you, it's the softest "hello, I love you" you'll ever feel. Dan gets a little nervous around loud sounds and worries when he thinks he might be in trouble (his past wasn't the kindest), but his heart is pure sunshine. All he wants is to love you, make you proud, and soak up all the snuggles. He's still learning his commands and working on some house manners, but with a patient human and a cozy home, this good boy will absolutely flourish! The highlights: ✨ Friendly vibes with other pups in the home — SLOW INTROS and submissive dogs may be best ✨ Unknown with cats (he's never met one!) ✨ Wonderful with kids! ✨ Champion cuddler and professional people-pleaser Lieutenant Dan is ready to be someone's loyal shadow and lifetime best friend. Could that someone be you? 💛 https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Meet The Muffin Man!!!! Age: 3–5 years Build: Short-stack low rider, 60 lbs. of pure muscle + heart Vibe: Lover boy with charm, sass, and a tiny ego now that his TikTok went viral He’s sweet, he’s silly, he’s a talker — and he’s not afraid to remind you when you’re late for dinner, when he wants attention, or when he just needs you to hurry it up. A home that can appreciate a big personality is non-negotiable. Dog & Home Life • Fostered with two female dogs his size — does AMAZING with them • Could thrive with other pups with slow, proper intros, or as your one-and-only • Potty trained • Crate trained • Lower energy & loves chill time • Hates the cold → will insist on sweaters and coats at all times Health • Heartworm positive — treatment must be completed at our vet in Waterford (transport help available!) • Back leg will never be 100% — he has arthritis and takes daily pain meds for life • Would truly benefit from hydrotherapy, laser therapy, or just the royal TLC he deserves This boy has survived so much and still meets every day with love, attitude, and a goofy spark that wins over everyone he meets. Now he’s just waiting for his perfect match to give him the soft, warm, safe forever he’s earned a hundred times over. Think you might be his home for the holidays?
