Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We got him and his sister (she is on another post) when they were 4 months old as a rescue from a scrap yard. They were skinny and dirty and we hurried to get them out of a bad situation, unfortunately we ourselves had never had dogs before. He did really well on a raw diet but the cost of meat forced us to switch to simply nourish dog kibble. He is 2 years old and a very handsome dog, their birthday is January 15th. Due to ongoing financial problems and a lack of time, we have to rehome both dogs for a better home. He is a big chewer. Has no bed cause he chewed through 2 Kong crate mats. He has toys but they must be severely limited or he will eat them in 2 seconds. We have several items that will go with him to his new home. High prey drive. Not good with small animals like cats, rabbits or birds. Small dogs okay. He needs someone outdoorsy who can take him on hikes and long walks. He needs proper enrichment and we cant give him what he needs anymore. We love both our dogs.

Story
She and her brother were gotten from a scrap yard when they were 4 months old. They were skinny, dirty, and in need of a home. Unfortunately now the cost of 2 dogs is weighing on us and they each deserve better. We had her on the raw diet for over a year but the price of meat forced us to switch to kibble. Unfortunately now we cant get them the attention they require either. She needs someone who can princess her. She needs that pink soft love life with kisses and treats and spa days. She needs that special. She has ADHD and definitely needs higher motivation to listen to commands. She knows more commands than her brother but just gets so excited she cant stay still for 3 seconds. She needs someone who can give her a special diet for her sensitive gut and can give her enough comfort to truly fill her heart. She whines all the time. She wants nonstop love and she needs someone who can give her that. No kids. She has too much energy and can easily injure a child by slamming them.

Story
Winston, male pit bull mix (amputee) Winston was shot with a 12 guage rifle in November of 2015. He lost his leg because his owner failed to keep him in a safe environment (fenced yard). While he was wandering the area, he was shot in the leg. Unfortunately, he lost his leg, and his home after that, as his owner couldn't take responsibility for his vet care either. Winston is a ton of fun. He plays ball like a champ, click here to see him go! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=915137805263915&id=381107812000253 He's not so good with other dogs, but he loves men, women, and kids!! Winston has a requirement for a fenced yard, and no other pets. He has accepted neighbors dogs after some time getting to know them through the fence in his foster home. He knows sit, fetch, leave it, and is house trained, crate trained (iif needed, but he's generally a good boy), neutered and a big lover. Please email us about Winston at muttsofmotownrescue@gmail.com

Story
Dakota – Friendly Husky Looking for an Active HomeDakota is a beautiful husky with a playful, energetic personality and a big heart. He loves to run, play, and be active, but also enjoys relaxing and being around his people. He is used to being part of a family and does well in a home environment.Dakota would do best in a home that can give him attention, activity, and companionship. Like most huskies, he has energy and enjoys being engaged.Due to new job location that is 45 miles from current residence I am moving and unable to take Dakota with me. My parents work schedules are 12+ hours a day and does not allow for them to be home to give him the time and attention that he needs and deserves. We are looking for a home where he can stay active, be loved, and continue to thrive. Hoping to be able to have him re-homed as soon as possible.
