Story
Boozer(Boo Boo) is a sweet 6 yr old Great Dane mix. She still has tons of energy and loves playing soccer in the yard, long walks and car rides. She's very playful with many dogs, but has an aversion for medium size females. Boo is great with all people, kids, babies, small dogs, and male dogs. She has been professionally trained and walks great on a leash. Boozer thinks she's a 113lb lapdog. She loves to snuggle on the couch, sleep under the covers in bed. It's killing me to rehome her, but I board dogs for a living and she needs a quieter home where new dogs aren't constantly coming and going. Please contact me if you think my sweet girl could be your new best friend.

Story
Momo is a 6-year-old female Shiba Inu (~20 lbs), spayed and microchipped, currently in Redford, MI. She is looking for a permanent, experienced home. Momo is sweet, cuddly, and affectionate with her humans and loves cats, but she cannot live with other dogs, small children, or small animals due to her reactivity and prey drive. She has a bite history and requires a confident owner who understands Shiba behavior, providing structure, patience, and management. She is extremely playful and loves balls and squeaky toys. Momo is house-trained, not destructive, not crate-trained, and does best with red meat-based kibble. She thrives in a calm, structured home and will alert when uncomfortable. Home visit and vet reference required. E-mail rehomingmomo@yahoo.com for more information.

Remmy is a handsome husky mix puppy ready to find his forever home! This sweet and loving boy has stunning blue eyes that will melt your heart. LISTED PREVIOUSLY, we decided it was only right to WAIT for his neuter at 6 months before adopting out! At just a few months old, Remmy is full of playful energy and loves to explore. He's been neutered, is up to date on his shots, and is ready to start his new life with you. Remmy would thrive in a home with an active family who can keep up with his curious nature and provide plenty of playtime and snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a spirited personality and beautiful looks to match, Remmy is the perfect pup for you!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. &#226&#128&#139Meet Buckley! This handsome 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier mix is ready to find his forever home. Buckley is a friendly guy who loves people, especially older kids. He will do best in a calm, patient environment where he will receive exercise to burn off his energy. Buckley might be open to sharing his space with other dogs, but cats are probable not a good fit for him. He's a very smart boy who knows commands like sit, shake, down, and stay. When he's not showing off his tricks, Buckley loves going for walks, cuddling up with his favorite humans, and playing with his ball and toys. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love, Buckley might just be the perfect match! He really is a wonderful dog. A fenced yard is strongly recommended for him, as he loves to chase wildlife. Any questions email Tim at  tmb611@msn.com  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. December 5, 2025, 4:39 pm
