Story
BoJack was found on the street as a puppy when my son was living abroad on a gap year. It was love at first sight. He brought him back home when he was about a year old. My son started grad school and they have been together in a studio apartment for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, about a year ago, my son developed severe allergies to BoJack. I am now fostering BoJack until we can find a loving home for him. I have two elderly rescue dogs, and they do not get along with him. BoJack has some anxiety around certain dogs, so I think a home where he is the only dog would be best for him. He loves to chase sticks in the backyard and play fetch, take long walks around the neighborhood, but he also likes to just snuggle on the couch and relax. He is fully housebroken, and has gone through obedience training to learn commands such as sit, stay, lie down, place, and heel. He will make a wonderful and loyal companion for someone who wants a smart and faithful furry friend.

Theresa Spayed female Lab mix, dob 10/25/22, altered, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm negative and on prevention, chipped Take a look at the 2022 National Football Championship litter! Aren’t they adorable! Congrats to the Georgia Bulldogs. UGA fans please help us get these babies adopted into great homes. Theresa and her siblings are precious lab mix puppies. They love playing with other dogs, are doing great with potty training, and are excellent at keeping their kennel clean. These puppies are very sociable and love attention. Lap time is their favorite time except for eating time. They are food motivated which makes for easy training. Their coats are a gorgeous black and so soft. The color is somewhat drowned out in some of the photos. These puppies are ready for adventures, snuggles, and a family of their own. Thank you for your interest in a Save a Stray pet. The first step is to complete an adoption application. https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use only the best and most animal-friendly transport on the road; Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Stripes is a 1 y/o (dob 8/20/22) neutered male dog. He is medium in size weighing around 35-40#. Stripes brindle color and body shape lead is to believe he is a Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, chipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention. Stripes has been around a 3 y/o child and did well but was a bit skittish of kid activity. Therefore, we believe Stripes would be more comfortable with older kids. He loves other dogs and plays well with others. Stripes knows to do his business outside and keeps the house and his kennel clean. He can be shy at first but warms up quickly. He does well with other dogs and they help him build his confidence. Stripes loves his human and likes to be close to them when he isn’t playing with other dogs. He does put himself in his kennel while his foster mom gets her work done. Stripes may take a while to warm up but once he's comfortable he's very loving. He is very loyal to his main human. He feels comfort in his crate and enjoys furry toys. Stripes is a laid back guy who loves nothing more than a cozy bed, belly rubs and human snuggles. Stripes loves car rides and does well just in the car and not in a crate. This sweet boy is looking for a caring home that will help him continue to build his confidence. He is being taken care of in TN but no worries because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Special Needs: NA- just gentle, positive reinforcement training, like all shelter dogs Tzalmon has had a pretty tragic beginning, but we hope his future will be much brighter! Tzalmon came to us as a former bait dog. He bears the scars of his horrific beginning. He also came to us with a broken leg sustained from his abuse as a puppy. He has since had surgery to repair his leg and he is healing beautifully. He is starting to put weight on his leg and is doing well on walks. Which he LOVES! Tzalmon also proves that dogs are resilient and too pure of heart for us mere humans. He is so loving and has tested excellent with other dogs. Tzalmon is a 9 month old male terrier mix and is approximately 45lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped

Story
Hey all, I'm Lil Mac! I absolutely love to run, jump, chew, lick and just play all the time! I'm not shy at all and will come running up to you and let you know I'm ready to be petted! Because I came to the Shelter when I was a baby, I need help with training (house, leash and crate). But because I'm so clever it won't take any time at all to get me used to living with you in our new fur-ever home. My ONLY flaw is that I don't do well on car rides, I shouldn't eat before a long ride because It won't stay down long. Other than that, you'll be amazed at what a good boy I am! We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. They would love to bring Lil Mac to his forever home. Please adopt.
