Story
Meet Winchester — your future best friend with springs for legs and a heart of gold 💙Winchester is a 3-year-old male Boxer mix who lives life at full speed and with a giant, goofy grin on his face. He’s the kind of dog who can turn a simple walk into an adventure and a boring afternoon into a full-on play session. This handsome guy is active, playful, and endlessly entertaining. He loves to run, bounce, wiggle, and make you laugh with his silly Boxer antics. When he’s excited (which is often), his whole body joins the celebration. Winchester would thrive with an adopter who enjoys staying active and wants a dog who’s always up for fun. After he’s burned off some energy, Winchester is happy to hang out, soak up attention, and remind you why Boxer mixes are such lovable goofballs. He’s affectionate, loyal, and ready to be someone’s shadow—especially if treats or toys are involved.Winchester would do best in a home that can give him daily exercise, playtime, and continued training to help him be the best boy he can be. In return, he promises laughs, companionship, and unconditional love.If you’re looking for a happy, energetic, and downright goofy companion, Winchester might just be your perfect match 🐾💥

Story
Meet Lily — A Heart Full of Love and a Second Chance at LifeAt 6 years old, Lily is proof that even after a difficult past, a dog’s heart can still be full of love and joy. When Lily first arrived at MACS, she was severely emaciated, but despite everything she had been through, she greeted our team with a wagging tail and a playful spirit. It didn’t take long for everyone here to fall in love with this resilient girl. Now that Lily is receiving the care she deserves, her personality is shining brighter every day. She loves stuffed toys and happily carries them around like prized possessions. Lily also enjoys playing fetch, spending time with people, and showing off her manners — she already knows how to sit and shake for a treat! With her love of treats and attention, she’ll be a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys continuing fun training and bonding time.Lily did test positive for heartworm disease, which is caused by parasites that are spread through mosquito bites and live in a dog’s heart and lungs. While it sounds scary, the good news is that heartworm disease is treatable. Lily has already started the first stages of her treatment, and MACS will cover the remainder of her treatment after adoption so she can continue on the path to a full recovery. She has met other dogs while in our care and has done well, so she may enjoy a canine friend in the home. We are unsure how Lily would do with cats, so slow introductions would be recommended. Lily is finally getting the chance she deserves — full meals, soft beds, toys to play with, and people who care about her. Now all she needs is a forever family to continue her journey and give her the loving home she has waited so long for.If you’re looking for a dog who will bring playfulness, loyalty, and a whole lot of love into your life, Lily might just be your girl.

Story
Meet Casey, a 1-year-old brindle and white mixed breed who is full of energy and ready for her next adventure! Casey came to us as a stray, so her past is a bit of a mystery, but we do know she’s a young, active girl who will thrive in a home that can keep up with her zest for life. Casey will need a patient owner who is committed to providing the training and guidance she needs to grow into the best companion she can be. Because her history is unknown, we are unsure how she would do living with children or cats. Casey would do best in an active home where she can burn off her energy, continue learning, and build a strong bond with her people. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic dog and are ready to help a young pup reach her full potential, Casey may be the perfect match for you! 🐾

Story
Prince is a fun, almost 8yr old energetic loving dog who acts like a puppy. He is extremely affectionate and will want to curl up and snuggle in your lap. Prince is a giant ball of energy who loves to play for the most part of the day. He thrives on companionship and wants nothing more than to be around humans. Prince is very friendly and gets along well with children. Prince barks at other animals every time he sees them passing by. Prince has been with us since he was a 1yr old pup, we got him from an ex coworker. Now that we have a cat, Prince thinks she's a toy. I am not sure how well he will be around other pets. Prince has never been sick nor has had any training. He eats dry dog food and uses the bathroom outside as long as he's on a schedule. He will run off if the fence/gate stays open. Prince needs a loving home (preferably without pets) who would give him the attention he longs for. It's getting difficult to attend to him and our cat with our busy schedules.
