Story
Sky is a whisper of a dog looking for a family who understands that the best things in life take a little time. While the big, loud world can feel a bit overwhelming for her at first, her heart is overflowing with a love she is just waiting to share. She may start behind your legs, but once she knows she’s safe, she transforms into the most devoted, joyful companion you could ever imagine. Sky truly loves life, and once her confidence shines through, her happy, playful spirit comes alive. There is no greater reward than the moment Sky decides you are her `person` and nudges your hand for her first real cuddle. She is intensely food-motivated. Treats are the absolute key to her soul it`s her favorite way of saying, `I’m trying, and I trust you.`She finds her peace in the simple things joyfully tossing around her favorite soft toys, curling up in a plush bed, and exploring the world on her walks.Sky was in a foster home where she did well with other respectful dogs.

Hi… um, my name is Benny. I know I look like a big handsome guy, but sometimes the world feels a little big and loud to me too. New places can make me nervous, and walks can be a bit overwhelming when there’s too much going on all at once. I’m trying my best though, promise. I just need someone patient who understands that confidence doesn’t happen overnight for dogs like me.The good news is, underneath all that worry is a really sweet boy who just wants to love and be loved. I’ve lived with kids, cats, and another dog before and did well with everyone. In fact, having a calm, respectful, and confident dog buddy around might actually help me feel a little braver as I settle in and learn the ropes.Once I feel safe with you, though? Oh boy. That’s when the real Benny comes out.I’m actually a giant sweetheart hiding underneath all that hesitation. I love being close to my people, soaking up cuddles, and showing off my good manners. I already know how to sit, lie down, and even shake a paw like the polite gentleman I am. I’m the kind of dog who bonds deeply and loves fully once you earn my trust. Honestly, I become a bit of a love bug. What I really need is a kind person who can be my cheerleader and hype friend — someone who will celebrate the little wins with me and help me see that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. A quieter home with direct access outside would help me feel much more comfortable while I continue building confidence.I may not be the dog who rushes into life paws first, but if you give me patience, encouragement, and love, I’ll give you my whole heart in return.

Story
Atlas here. The tall, handsome shepherd with the intense stare and the dramatic “stranger danger” commentary package included at no extra charge. I take my job of supervising the world very seriously, and sometimes I can come in a little… strong. Okay, very strong. But underneath all the barking and tough-guy energy is a smart young dog still figuring out that not every new person, sound, or situation is actually a top-secret security threat. The truth is, once I decide you’re one of my people, I’m loyal to the core. I want to be near you, learn with you, and tackle life as a team. I’m active, intelligent, and always paying attention, which means I’ll thrive with someone who understands shepherd brains and appreciates that I’m not the kind of dog who comes pre-programmed and effortless. I need guidance, patience, and someone confident enough to help me feel safe while I learn the world isn’t quite so suspicious.I can be particular about certain handling and I appreciate people who respect my space and listen to what I’m comfortable with. Building trust with me is important, and when you do, you’ll see a completely different side of me emerge. I’m not looking for someone to “dominate” me — I’m looking for someone steady, experienced, and kind who can help me channel all this big shepherd energy into being the best version of myself. If you’ve got an active lifestyle, some shepherd savvy, and room in your heart for a young dog with huge potential and an even bigger personality, I just might be your guy. Bonus points if you appreciate a loyal shadow who will proudly patrol the house like it’s his full-time career.

Story
Meet Summit - a rambunctious, funny dog with a huge love for toys and being around his people. He’s full of playful puppy energy, always ready for a game of fetch or proudly carrying around a toy to show off. Summit has a goofy personality that keeps people laughing, but he’s also a sweet, affectionate companion who would love a family of his own to share a couch with.Summit LOVES toys, and will bounce around with them, picking them up and tossing them up in the air just to chase after them again. He also adores affection and will wiggle all over the place before happily flopping over for a good belly rub, soaking up every drop of attention you’re willing to give him. Not only is Summit both playful AND friendly, he is also a great listener and is highly food motivated, meaning he would probably love if his new family took the time to teach him some new tricks. This sweet guy came into the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about his past. His history with kids, cats, and dogs is unknown, but he would likely be okay to living with children due to his sweet and gentle nature. As for other dogs, Summit seems a bit unsure, but may do well with another dog after a slow, proper introduction. If you’re looking to add a bit of (or a bunch of) joy into your life, Summit may be just what you’re looking for!

Story
Hi, I’m Saeris, I came to the shelter a little worse for wear—underweight, unsure, and keeping a close eye on everything around me. Despite my rough start, I`ve come a long way. I was a bit nervous about meeting new people when I first arrived at the shelter, but now that I`m more comfortable here I make fast friends with everyone I meet! I’m very food-motivated (honestly, food is my love language), which has made training a big success. I know my basic commands, I’m housetrained, and I’ve been working really hard on my leash skills—I’ve come a long way and continue to improve every day. I do have a bit of a “help yourself” attitude when it comes to unattended food (old habits…), so keeping counters clear is part of my continued training plan. But hey, I’m smart, eager, and very willing to learn. I love car rides—windows down, ears flapping, main character energy. I also love a good cuddle session. If you’re sitting, I’m probably trying to be as close as physically possible. I’m the kind of dog who just wants to be loved, and if you give me that, I’ll give it right back tenfold. I’m a volunteer favourite for a reason—they’ve seen how far I’ve come and just how sweet I truly am. I love to show off my goofy side and could even live with another friendly dog that matches my play style!

Story
Hi. Yes. Hello. It is I… Mr. Pickles. Please hold your applause (or don’t, I love attention). I’m a 3-year-old professional goofball with a heart full of love and approximately twelve million beans of energy. I might look like a simple guy, but I contain multitudes—mostly zoomies, enthusiasm, and an undying passion for snacks. I’ll be honest with you… when I first meet you, I might play it a little cool. A little “who, me?” moment. But the SECOND we’re hanging out together? Oh. You’ve unlocked full Pickles mode. I am wiggly. I am kissy. I am suddenly in your lap like I was invited there (I always assume I was invited). Personal space? Never heard of her. Now let’s talk about my hobbies: Walking? AMAZING. I just get very excited about it. So excited that I sometimes forget we’re supposed to go together and instead try to power-walk us into the next dimension. It’s a work in progress, okay? I’ve got strong legs and big dreams. Food? Oh wow. Yes. Huge fan. Big supporter. I eat like I’ve been personally challenged to finish it as fast as possible. Don’t worry—I’m polite about sharing space and all that, I just… really love snacks. Deeply. Spiritually. Other dogs? LOVE THEM. Especially the ones who want to run around with me, maybe get hip checked a couple of time on the way and can keep going! I’m a fun guy who can run and play, but I also appreciate a little balance in the friendship.I’ve got some learning to do—things like keeping all four paws on the ground and remembering that hands are not snacks when I get excited—but I’m a smart cookie and very motivated to figure it all out (especially if you happen to be holding treats… just saying). At the end of the day, I’m just a big, silly, loving dude who wants to be part of your life. I’ll make you laugh, keep you moving, and absolutely cover you in affection whether you asked for it or not. So… what do you say? You, me, snacks, and a lifetime of adventures?
