Story
Cocoa(10) is a purebred Akita. She was a gift many years ago and has been a great protector and pet. Through the many changes that life has brought Cocoa is no longer a good fit for our household. She lives in a house with children, with limited interaction, and never any issues. Does well with male dogs. Please feel free to reach out with any questions

Bentley is a big ball of energy and affection. He absolutely loves to play fetch with his balls and goes crazy for daily walks — the longer the better! He’s always up for an adventure and brings so much joy with his playful, bouncy personality. . His goofy, nature will definitely keep you entertained!I'm moving to Florida in the coming days/weeks and am unfortunately running out of options here….

Story
Teddy is a 6.5 year old Beagle English bulldog mix. He has been with me since he was 18 weeks old. I am recently divorced and work 10-16 hours a day and I fear he is being neglected. He is in great shape with the only issue in his history being an ear infection that lasted almost 6 MO this before finally getting rid of it last year. His shots were up to date until I fell behind on it over the past 6 months with the expense from the unexpected divorce. His only behavior concern is that he is protective of his food. He has never been anything but loving towards humans or animals, but there has been 2 occurrences over his lifespan where he went after my other dog for getting too close to his food bowl. His first 18 weeks w/o me were in a cage with 6 dogs and 1 bo2l.of food, unfortunately.Ideally, he would go to a home with more room to roam and get some training or eat foot isolated, to eliminate and chance of conflictI am listing him at no cost because of his shots needing to be updated.

Story
Shadow and his brother Taz are a bonded pair and are looking for a new family through no fault of their own. Their owner is seriously ill and can no longer provide the care these sweet boys deserve. This is a painful transition for the family and our absolute priority is keeping this inseparable duo together. Shadow and Taz are 10 year-old pitbull terriers who weigh about 100 lbs each. They are two peas in a pod and share the exact same favorite hobby - both boys absolutely live for chasing and chewing on rubber balls. Throw a couple balls into the yard and you’ll see pure joy. Despite their large 100 lb sizes they’re super sweet, affectionate and gentle souls. They have spent their entire lives together and lean on each other for comfort. What they need in a new home is to stay together, a cozy retirement - a relaxed household where they can enjoy their senior years, a fenced yard - ideal for their favorite pastimes, and plenty of love.
