Story
Meet Arthur: A Brave Little Husky with a Heart of Gold!!! Arthur is an 11 week old, blind and deaf puppy, but his disabilities are no match for his determination and joy! Though he can't see or hear the world around him, he navigates life with confidence, independence, and an infectious zest for living. Arthur LOVES tug of war and will happily entertain himself with toys when you need a break. He's a zoomer at heart—give him a yard and watch him run with pure joy! Despite his energy, Arthur has mastered the art of crate relaxation, settling down almost immediately when it's rest time. He's even a champion car rider, making him the perfect adventure companion for your family outings. Arthur doesn't let his blindness and deafness slow him down one bit! He's a confident little soul who has figured out how to thrive, and his bravery will absolutely melt your heart. He communicates with the most adorable squeaks and squeals that will have you smiling all day long. Arthur's ideal home would be an active household, ideally with another friendly dog to play and romp with. He's working on basic commands (currently mastering "sit"!) and would benefit from a family committed to continuing his training journey using touch-based cues. Arthur is already crate-trained and does wonderfully when left alone—no separation anxiety here! *Estimated DOB 11/30/2025 *14 lbs. of CUTENESS *Dog Friendly *Crate Trained *Neutered *Up to date on vaccines Apply TODAY!!! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Meet Maeve! Maeve — whose name means "Blue" in Turkish — is one of those puppies who will absolutely steal your heart the second you lock eyes with him. Maeve is working through all the typical puppy milestones like a champ. He is crate trained and has come a long way since day one — what used to be anxious protest has turned into calm settling, as long as you stay consistent. He has made huge strides with alone time too, going from full-on screaming sessions to a much more manageable, slightly needy pup who just really loves her people. Can you blame him? He currently lives with five other dogs and absolutely thrives with a buddy by his side. His best friend is his uncle Chapo, and together they play the silliest head games and run each other into the ground. He loves a good game of tug with his foster mom, has been on plenty of long car rides without a fuss, and will happily entertain himself when he needs to. Potty training is still in progress, and he is working on pads and going outside, so a patient home ready to put in that foundational work will set him up for success. He also loves to chew (he's a puppy, after all!), but he picks up "give and take" quickly and redirects well to his own toys. The one thing Maeve needs most is a family that will pour on the encouragement. He is a little shy at first, but he blossoms with confidence-building and positive reinforcement. Tell him he's a good boy, and he will do great anywhere. Maeve is ready to grow into the most loyal, loving companion — he just needs the right home to help him get there. Could that be yours? Maeve is 9 weeks old, neutered microchipped, utd on age appropriate vaccines, fecal tested, dewormed. Apply here! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
🪖 “Lieutenant Dan! Ice cream!” 🪖 No shrimp boat required — just a couch, some snacks, and a heart ready for unconditional love. Meet Lieutenant Dan (aka Dan the Man), a 60-lb velvet pillow who has seen some things but still believes life is like a box of chew toys — you never know what you’re gonna get, but it’s probably adorable. Dan may not run across America, but he walks like a dream on leash, is house-trained, crate-trained, and has officially mastered the art of being a proper Southern gentleman. He’s calm, sweet, and prefers cuddles over chaos. This is not a ping-pong-chasing lifestyle dog. This is a lean back, watch the world go by kind of guy. When Lieutenant Dan puts his big paws on you, it’s basically his way of saying: 👉 “I may not be a smart man, but I know what love is.” He’s: 🍦 Friendly with other dogs (slow intros please — Bubba would insist) 🍦 Great with kids 🍦 A champion cuddler and elite people-pleaser 🍦 Unsure about cats (still waiting to meet one… probably would ask their name politely) Loud noises make him a little nervous, and sometimes he worries he’s in trouble — his past wasn’t kind — but his heart? Pure sunshine. All he wants is to make you proud, love you fiercely, and maybe sit next to you while you tell him he’s a good boy approximately 400 times a day. Lieutenant Dan is ready for his happy ending, his new mission, and his forever home. And unlike the movie… this Dan actually does have legs — and they’re great for snuggling. 💛 Ready to enlist this hero into your life? 💛 Ready to enlist this hero into your life? Story
Meet Elvis Presley 🎤✨ (And trust us… he ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog — in the best way.) Elvis found himself in a high-kill shelter, but instead of crying the blues, he shook, rattled, and rolled his wiggly little butt straight into the hearts of a foster home — and became a volunteer favorite along the way. Thank you, thank you very much. 💙 About a year old, Elvis is a total gentle giant. He walks beautifully on leash (like he’s headed to the stage), loves other dogs, and absolutely adores alllll humans. Big fans? He’s got plenty. This boy was born to be a star. ✨ Crate trained ✨ Potty trained ✨ Knows how to sit ✨ Dog friendly ✨ Human obsessed ✨ A love for life that radiates louder than a sold-out show He’s got the charm, the wiggle, and the sweet, soulful eyes that make you fall in love “All Shook Up.” And when he looks at you? It’s basically “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Elvis is ready to leave the heartbreak hotel behind and find his forever home. 🏠 Are you ready to make this rising star part of your family? Because this sweet boy is ready for his forever encore. 🎶💫

Story
Meet Zuzu — she didn't lose a home because of anything she did. She just got caught in the middle of life. Zuzu's story starts the way too many good dogs' stories do — found as a stray, landed in an overcrowded Detroit shelter, and waiting for someone to see how special she was. A wonderful foster family stepped up, and it didn't take long before she found her forever home... or so we thought. Zuzu was adopted in April 2025 and by all accounts, she was everything a family could want. But when her parents' marriage ended, she found herself without a home through absolutely no fault of her own. She didn't do anything wrong. She just needs someone new to love her — and trust us, she has so much love to give. Here's what makes Zuzu so special: This 2-3 year old, 48-pound sweetheart is the whole package. She's potty trained, crate trained, and currently lives happily alongside kids AND cats, who she absolutely adores. She is gentle, affectionate, and the kind of dog who just wants to be near her people. Give her a toy, a bone, a walk, or a spot on the couch and she is in heaven. Zuzu has already proven she can thrive in a loving home — she just needs another chance at one. 🥺 Zuzu is: 2-3 years old 48 lbs of pure sweetness Spayed Up to date on vaccines Microchipped Potty & crate trained Dog, cat & kid friendly Adoption Fee: $250 She's already been the perfect dog once. Let her be yours. 🐾 https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
