Story
🐾 Meet Stewie 💙 (Yes, like Stewie Griffin… and he absolutely lives up to the name.) No one knows exactly how Stewie ended up alone on the streets as just a puppy — but we do know one thing: this little guy is a survivor. Stewie survived being attacked by another animal and somehow held on long enough to be rescued. When he first arrived in foster care, he was underweight, weak, and recovering from a very hard start to life. But with love, good food, and a safe place to rest, he has completely transformed. Now estimated to be about 1 year old and around 55 pounds, Stewie is at a healthy weight, gaining strength every day, and fully embracing puppy life. Because of his early months, he will likely have some lifelong weakness in his back legs, and he’s a bit nearsighted — but don’t tell him that. He runs, plays, and explores like any other happy pup. He can be a little hesitant with stairs at first, but after a few tries he figures them out like a champ. True to his name, Stewie has a mischievous streak. He’ll keep you laughing with his puppy antics — and then five minutes later he’ll curl up next to you like the sweetest little baby for a nap. He has playful bursts of energy but is equally happy stretched out in a cozy bed catching up on sleep. Stewie was previously adopted and later returned through absolutely no fault of his own. Despite everything he’s been through, he continues to love hard and trust people with his whole heart. He has: *Playful puppy energy *A love for cozy snuggles and naps *Almost mastered potty training *A great relationship with his foster dog brother *A respectful friendship with his foster cat sister *More resilience than most dogs twice his size Stewie may have had a rough beginning, but his future is bright. He’s looking for a forever family who sees his strength, embraces his silly personality, and is ready to give him the safe, loving home he’s always deserved. 💙 Adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog

🐾💙 MEET TITAN 💙🐾 If you're looking for a best friend who will love you with his whole heart, Titan is your guy. This handsome young pittie mix is still very much a puppy, but one thing is already crystal clear: Titan's favorite place in the world is right next to the people and dogs he loves. In fact, when it's time to rest, he insists on touching someone—whether that's a human snuggled beside him or one of his canine foster siblings. Personal space? Titan has never heard of it. At around 40 pounds, Titan is the perfect combination of playful puppy and affectionate cuddle bug. He loves spending his days romping around the yard with his foster brothers, playing with toys, and soaking up attention from everyone he meets. His gentle nature shines through in everything he does, and he's been wonderful with children, including a one-year-old in his foster home. Titan truly loves everyone. Whether you're a family member, a visitor, a child, or another dog, he greets the world with a happy heart and a wagging tail. For a young pup, Titan already has impressive manners. He's house trained, sleeps through the night, and knows when it's time to settle down and relax. He's currently working on crate training and may be a little restless at first, but he settles nicely once he realizes it's time to rest. He's also learning basic commands and already knows "sit." Titan enjoys walks a few times each week but is happiest spending time with his people and canine companions. Because he loves other dogs so much and gains confidence from them, we think he would thrive in a home with a playful dog friend to help show him the ropes. A fenced yard would be wonderful, but with regular exercise and continued training, Titan could also do well in a home without one. Like any puppy, Titan is still learning about the world. He'll need a family that understands he has some growing up to do and is committed to continuing his training and helping him become the amazing adult dog he's destined to be. Titan's ideal home is one filled with love, patience, and plenty of snuggles. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be part of the family, Titan is ready to fill that role. Warning: once Titan curls up next to you, you may never want him to leave. ❤️ 📩 Apply to adopt: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog 📢 Share to help Kai find her perfect match

🐾💙 Meet Banjo – The Happiest Little “Mini Pittie” Around! 💙🐾 If you’re looking for a dog who wakes up every day excited to love life (and you!), Banjo is your guy. At around 1 year old and 32 pounds, Banjo is the perfect medium-sized companion with a heart that’s far bigger than he is. His foster family says he truly won the temperament lottery, and it’s easy to see why. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves everyone he meets, and has the kind of gentle, people-loving personality that could make him an amazing therapy dog one day. Banjo’s favorite things? That’s easy: 💙 Belly rubs 🎾 Playing fetch 🪢 Tug-of-war 🧸 Collecting every stuffed toy he can find and proudly storing them in his crate 🛋️ Snuggling on the couch after a fun day of adventures Like any young pup, Banjo still has plenty of playful energy. He loves daily walks, exploring the world with his harness on, and learning new things. He’s incredibly food motivated, eager to please, and picks up training quickly. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he’ll continue growing into an exceptional companion. Banjo is also an enthusiastic chewer, so durable toys, ropes, and appropriate chew items are a must. He loves having a job to do and keeping himself entertained. Because he doesn’t quite realize how strong or wiggly he is when he’s excited, Banjo would do best with older children who won’t be knocked over by his happy greetings. He enjoys the company of other friendly dogs and would love a canine playmate. Banjo also likes cats, but he’d do best with confident, dog-savvy cats who don’t mind his playful enthusiasm. Banjo is the kind of dog who fills a home with laughter, love, and endless tail wags. Whether you’re heading out for a walk, tossing a ball in the yard, or settling in for a cozy movie night, he’ll be happiest simply being by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a goofy personality, a huge heart, and endless love to give, Banjo is ready to meet you. He can’t wait to find the forever family he’s been dreaming of. ❤️ Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog

**Can go to my forever home on 7/23** Hi, I'm Dottie! 🤎 I'm a 10-week-old bully mix with a mystery family tree. Everyone has their own guess about my breed, but we'll have to wait for my DNA results to know for sure! I'm already around 16 pounds, so I'm expected to grow into a big, beautiful girl. Speaking of beautiful... have you seen my gorgeous chocolate coat and stunning green eyes? I get lots of compliments, but I'm more than just a pretty face—I have the sweetest personality to match! I'm the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. I love wrestling with my siblings, playing tug, and carrying toys around. Sometimes I even climb right into the toy box for a nap—it's cozy and keeps all my favorite things close by! I'm also a pretty independent pup, so I'm happy entertaining myself when everyone else is busy. But if I had to pick my favorite thing ever, it would be my foster brother. I absolutely adore him! I follow him around, shower him with kisses, and think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to mind all the extra love. At bedtime, I'm a superstar and sleep through the night like a champ. I'm also doing a great job learning potty training and getting better every day with a little consistency and encouragement. I'm having so much fun in my foster home, but what I really dream about is finding a forever family of my very own. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, snuggly pup with lots of love to give, I just might be your perfect match. Submit an application—I can't wait to meet you! 🐾🤎 Adoption fee: $400 Adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog
