🐾💛 DOUBLE THE LOVE, DOUBLE THE LOYALTY 💛🐾 Some dogs are happiest with their people. Zeus and Zora are happiest with each other. 🖤 This bonded pair has built a quiet little world together, and they’re looking for a home willing to open their heart to both of them. While their personalities are different, they balance each other beautifully. ✨ Zeus is the more sensitive of the two. New people and sudden movements can make him cautious at first, especially around larger men, but once he feels safe? He turns into a complete love bug. Zeus loves to follow his people from room to room, curl up close, and be part of whatever you’re doing. He still has a playful side too and enjoys tug toys and roughhousing around with Zora. He’s learning that the world isn’t so scary and continues to gain confidence every day. ✨ Zora is the calm, steady presence in the pair. She’s more laid back, happiest lounging nearby or curling up on you like a giant teddy bear while you relax. She’s not much for playtime and would prefer a peaceful home without younger, overly energetic dogs. Zora can be sensitive to noises and unfamiliar sounds, but once she settles into a routine, she relaxes beautifully and becomes incredibly affectionate. 💛 Together, they: ✔️ Are bonded and rely on each other for comfort ✔️ Love spending time outside with their people ✔️ Walk wonderfully together ✔️ Are eating well and adjusting nicely in foster care ✔️ Enjoy a calm routine and quiet companionship ✔️ Are affectionate, loyal, and deeply loving once they trust you Zeus may occasionally react when seeing other dogs on walks, but he redirects well with guidance and continues to improve. Both dogs thrive with patience, consistency, and a calm environment where they can feel secure. These two don’t need perfection. They just need someone willing to give them the chance to stay together. 🐾 And once they trust you? You’ll never question whether it was worth.

💛🐾 MEET KAI — BIG HEART, BIG PERSONALITY, BIG PUPPY ENERGY 🐾💛 If you've ever wished for a giant, affectionate puppy who believes every person she meets is her new best friend, Kai may be your perfect match. This beautiful young Pit/Lab mix weighs about 65 pounds, but don't tell her that—Kai is absolutely convinced she's a lap dog. She is a mountain of sweetness wrapped in a powerful, energetic package, and her favorite thing in the world is being close to her people. Kai wakes up every day ready to live life to the fullest. Whether she's zooming around the yard, playing with her toys, or soaking up attention from her humans, she approaches everything with pure joy. In fact, her zoomies are so enthusiastic that furniture occasionally finds itself in a new location! Her playful happiness is contagious, and it's nearly impossible not to smile when she's having fun. Kai loves everyone she meets and does well with older children. She's house trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. During the day, she enjoys a routine of outdoor play, training sessions, naps, and more play. An active home with a securely fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and burn off energy is a must for this girl. Like many dogs who spent important developmental time in a shelter environment, Kai can seem like a seven-week-old puppy trapped in a one-year-old dog's body. She's incredibly smart and eager to learn, but she's still figuring out things like self-control and personal space. She has made wonderful progress learning to sit patiently before meals, wait at doors, and settle herself without constant reminders. She responds well to positive reinforcement and is especially good at coming when called, even when she's excited. Kai knows "sit," "down," and "come," and she's continuing to work on her leash manners. She's highly food motivated and loves homemade pupsicles, carrots, freeze-dried beef liver, and salmon treats. Potential adopters should know that Kai is still learning how to read other dogs' social cues. She can be a playful, non-aggressive bulldozer who doesn't always realize her own size and strength. Because of this, she'd do best with confident dog friends or as the only dog in an active home. Her experience with cats is currently unknown. Kai's ideal family is an active adult or family with older children who wants a true companion for adventures, playtime, training, and lots of snuggles. She isn't looking for a couch potato lifestyle—she's looking for someone who will help guide her as she continues to mature into the amazing dog she's already becoming. If you're ready for a loyal sidekick with endless love to give, plenty of personality, and enough enthusiasm to keep life interesting, Kai is waiting to meet you. ❤️ 🚶‍♀️ TRAINING NOTES Kai is strong on leash and still working on her manners—she’ll need someone committed to continuing her training. She responds well to correction and redirection, but consistency will be key to her success. 💛 THE BOTTOM LINE Kai isn’t a “sit on the couch all day” dog—she’s a growing, playful, loving companion who needs guidance, structure, and someone willing to invest in her. And in return? You’ll get a loyal, affectionate best friend who’s already proving she’s worth the effort. 💛 📩 Apply to adopt: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog

🚨 URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED 🚨 🎵 All the single ladies... 🎶 Meet Alice. ❤️ Alice desperately needs a foster home ASAP (and if that turns into a forever home, even better!). This sweet 8–10-year-old, 16-pound Chiweenie mix is looking for a very specific home: 🐾 A single woman (no male partner) 🐾 No cats 🐾 No energetic or playful dogs 🐾 No young children 🐾 An experienced, patient adopter or foster willing to let Alice move at her own pace. Alice was rescued as a stray about 9 months ago, so we don't know what happened in her past. What we do know is that she's been through a lot—but she still wants so badly to love and trust someone. Once she bonds with her person, she's a true Velcro dog. She'll be your loyal shadow, happiest curled up beside you, soaking up all the love and attention you have to give. Right now, Alice is dealing with several medical challenges, including: ❤️ Recovery from heartworm treatment- she is finally negative! 🩺 Cushing's disease- controlled with daily medications 🩺 Multiple mammary nodules 🦴 Arthritis 🦷 Dental issues- a dental will be covered by the rescue. She's currently receiving gabapentin, Librela, and Xanax, and is working with behavioral trainers to help her feel more comfortable and secure. Because she's in pain and still healing, Alice can be reactive toward men, strangers, and cats. She also does best in a home with a secure privacy fence, as seeing people walk by can cause her to bark and charge the fence. This little girl isn't looking for a perfect home—she's looking for her person. Someone willing to give her the time, patience, and understanding she deserves. 💔 Alice has survived so much already. Let's help her find the safe, quiet place she needs to heal and finally know what it feels like to be loved. Interested in fostering Alice? 🐾💛 COURTESY POST: Meet Maize – A Loyal Best Friend Looking for Her Perfect Match! 💛🐾 Please note: Maize is not a Happy Paws Haven rescue dog. We are sharing her on behalf of a family who needs to find her a loving new home. Maize is a beautiful 6-year-old Beagle/Pit Bull mix weighing around 70 pounds, and she’s hoping to find the forever family she deserves. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready for her next chapter. If you’re looking for a dog who enjoys both adventure and relaxation, Maize could be your perfect match. She loves exploring the outdoors, sniffing everything in true Beagle fashion, and then coming home to curl up beside her favorite people. She’s potty trained, knows her manners, loves treats, and enjoys spending quality time with the people she trusts. Maize forms deep bonds with her family and is incredibly loyal. Because of that, she can be protective of her home and the people she loves, so she’ll do best with an adopter who appreciates her devoted nature and is willing to provide structure and consistency. She gets along well with other dogs but is not a good fit for homes with cats. Young children and loud, busy environments can make her nervous, so she’d thrive in a calm home with older children or adults. Like many Beagles, Maize loves to follow her nose! Because she has a tendency to wander if given the opportunity, she’ll need a securely fenced yard or should always be kept safely on a leash during outdoor adventures. 💛 Maize’s Perfect Home: 🐾 Calm, patient family 🐾 No cats or young children 🐾 Secure fenced yard or committed leash walks 🐾 Lots of love, companionship, and cuddle time Maize is looking for someone who will love her for the wonderful dog she is. In return, she’ll offer unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and a lifetime of companionship. 📩 If you’re interested in learning more about Maize, please reach out to us and we’ll connect you with her family. Let’s help this sweet girl find the loving home she deserves.
