Story
Hello! My name is Banjo. I'm a "mini pittie" pup about a year old, about 32 lbs., and I just plain-ol' love everyone! I'm a happy guy who wants all your pets and attention, especially belly rubs. I love playing fetch and tug-of-war, and I'm just as happy running through the yard as I am snuggling with you on the couch! I'm a very nice boy -- my foster parents say I won the temperament lottery, and say I could be a therapy dog some day! But I still have a lot of puppy energy. I love to go for daily walks with a harness. I'm a bit of a chewer -- I'm a big fan of pulling on tags and chomping on ropes. I also very much enjoy hoarding stuffies in my crate! I'd do best in a home with older children, as I'm still very excited and like to stand up to get closer to my people. I'm not quite familiar with my own strength! I would do well with other friendly dogs to play with. I love cats too, but I'd do best with cats that are good with dogs -- two of the kitties in my foster home are scared of me, and I'm too excited about the one who isn't for him to feel comfortable playing with me! I'm a quick learner and LOVE my treats! I'm very food motivated and eager to please you. With some discipline and consistent training I'll be the bestest boy I can be!

Story
🐾 Meet Stewie 💙 (Yes, like Stewie Griffin… and he absolutely lives up to the name.) No one knows exactly how Stewie ended up alone on the streets as just a puppy — but we do know one thing: this little guy is a survivor. Stewie survived being attacked by another animal and somehow held on long enough to be rescued. When he first arrived in foster care, he was underweight, weak, and recovering from a very hard start to life. But with love, good food, and a safe place to rest, he has completely transformed. Now estimated to be about 1 year old and around 55 pounds, Stewie is at a healthy weight, gaining strength every day, and fully embracing puppy life. Because of his early months, he will likely have some lifelong weakness in his back legs, and he’s a bit nearsighted — but don’t tell him that. He runs, plays, and explores like any other happy pup. He can be a little hesitant with stairs at first, but after a few tries he figures them out like a champ. True to his name, Stewie has a mischievous streak. He’ll keep you laughing with his puppy antics — and then five minutes later he’ll curl up next to you like the sweetest little baby for a nap. He has playful bursts of energy but is equally happy stretched out in a cozy bed catching up on sleep. Stewie was previously adopted and later returned through absolutely no fault of his own. Despite everything he’s been through, he continues to love hard and trust people with his whole heart. He has: *Playful puppy energy *A love for cozy snuggles and naps *Almost mastered potty training *A great relationship with his foster dog brother *A respectful friendship with his foster cat sister *More resilience than most dogs twice his size Stewie may have had a rough beginning, but his future is bright. He’s looking for a forever family who sees his strength, embraces his silly personality, and is ready to give him the safe, loving home he’s always deserved. 💙 Adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog

Story
"Meet Gus: Your Future Star Student! Headline: A Southern Soul with a Heart of Gold and a Blank Slate! Gus is a 7-month-old, 35 lb Pit mix who is ready to learn everything you have to teach! Originally from North Carolina, Gus is the ultimate "clean slate" pup. He hasn’t been taught the ropes yet, he’s just waiting for a leader to show him the way. The "Gus" Highlights: Excellent Listener: He already knows his name and comes running with a wagging tail the moment he’s called! Social & Sweet: He’s a total socialite who seeks out people, plays beautifully with other dogs, and is wonderful with small children. Master of the "Off-Switch": He’s got the energy for a hike or a game of fetch, but he’s happy to sprawl out on the couch once the fun is over. Household Pro: Despite his lack of formal "schooling," he is a crate-training natural. He handles 8+ hours like a champ and sleeps through the night without a peep. The Opportunity: Gus is looking for a family excited about the "puppy phase" without the "puppy problems." Since he’s a blank slate, you get to skip the corrective training and go straight to the fun stuff! Whether you want a hiking buddy, an agility partner, or just a well-mannered companion, Gus is the perfect, eager-to-please candidate."

🐾💙 MEET TITAN 💙🐾 If you’re looking for a dog who’s always ready for the next adventure, Titan might just be your perfect match! Titan is a fun-loving, affectionate boy with a zest for life and a heart full of love. He’s the kind of dog who wakes up excited for whatever the day has in store—whether that’s a morning walk, a weekend hike, a game of fetch, or simply spending time with his favorite people. This handsome guy thrives in an active home where he can stay busy both mentally and physically. Titan enjoys having a job to do, learning new things, and being included in family activities. He’s intelligent, eager to engage, and happiest when he’s part of the action. Story
Meet Tiffy — The Brilliant, Bouncy Boxer Mix With a Whole Lot of Heart Tiffy is an 8‑month‑old medium Boxer mix, around 42 pounds, who embodies everything we love about adolescent pups: she’s smart, silly, affectionate, and absolutely convinced that life is one big adventure. She’s eager to learn, eager to love, and eager to be part of a family who will guide her into adulthood with patience, structure, and lots of praise. This girl is sharp. She thrives on mental enrichment, puzzles, snuffle mats, lick mats, and Kongs are her daily favorites, and she solves them with impressive speed. She’s already mastered ringing bells to go outside and sleeps through the night without a peep. On leash, she’s fabulous and loves going for walks. Like a typical adolescent, Tiffy will try to push boundaries, but with the right corrections she becomes wonderfully submissive and responsive. She does best with someone who can confidently tell her “no” and “off,” then follow up with praise and treats. She wants to succeed, she just needs someone to show her how. Tiffy would do best in a cat‑free home, as she finds chasing them a little too exciting. She also has the potential to thrive as an only dog, soaking up all the attention she craves. She loves playing with her foster brothers, but she can get jealous when other dogs receive affection and may try to steal toys or treats. With consistency and structure, she’ll continue to mature beautifully. Her favorite activities include: Playing fetch (she’d love a ball launcher) - Tug of war. - Solving puzzles like a tiny genius. - Giving endless kisses. - Snuggling so deeply she feels like she’s trying to become part of your soul. - She’s also surprisingly sweet about wearing coats or sweaters, she doesn’t mind at all and looks adorable doing it. Tiffy is still in her puppy stage, so she needs to be crated when left alone for longer periods, even though she’s not a big fan of it yet. She also tends to get anxious or carsick during car rides, so she’ll need a patient family willing to help her build confidence there. Tiffy is a bright, loving, eager‑to‑please pup who’s ready to bond deeply with her forever family. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you active, and love you with her whole heart, Tiffy is waiting to meet you. 📩 Apply to Adopt: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog
