Basil is a 10-yr-old Cockapoo we brought home as a puppy from a breeder. She’s been the sweetest, most loyal companion — calm, playful, affectionate, and always by your side. She loves to snuggle close, chase balls, and wiggle her whole body with joy when you come home. She’s mellow and intuitive, happy to go with the flow and adapt to whatever her people are doing. While Basil loves people, she would do best in a home without very young children (since they're unpredictable and get in her face) or other dogs, though she can do well with dogs after slow, proper introductions. She’s healthy/ active for her age, with mild, well-managed epilepsy controlled by twice-daily medication. Basil is house/crate trained, knows basic commands, and thrives on love and companionship. She’s an affectionate soul looking for a home where she can relax. We’re heartbroken to be looking for a new home for her, but our life with a rambunctious toddler has created an environment that’s too stressful for her
