Story
🐾 Meet Stewie 💙 (Yes, like Stewie Griffin… and he absolutely lives up to the name.) No one knows exactly how Stewie ended up alone on the streets as just a puppy — but we do know one thing: this little guy is a survivor. Stewie survived being attacked by another animal and somehow held on long enough to be rescued. When he first arrived in foster care, he was underweight, weak, and recovering from a very hard start to life. But with love, good food, and a safe place to rest, he has completely transformed. Now estimated to be about 1 year old and around 55 pounds, Stewie is at a healthy weight, gaining strength every day, and fully embracing puppy life. Because of his early months, he will likely have some lifelong weakness in his back legs, and he’s a bit nearsighted — but don’t tell him that. He runs, plays, and explores like any other happy pup. He can be a little hesitant with stairs at first, but after a few tries he figures them out like a champ. True to his name, Stewie has a mischievous streak. He’ll keep you laughing with his puppy antics — and then five minutes later he’ll curl up next to you like the sweetest little baby for a nap. He has playful bursts of energy but is equally happy stretched out in a cozy bed catching up on sleep. Stewie was previously adopted and later returned through absolutely no fault of his own. Despite everything he’s been through, he continues to love hard and trust people with his whole heart. He has: *Playful puppy energy *A love for cozy snuggles and naps *Almost mastered potty training *A great relationship with his foster dog brother *A respectful friendship with his foster cat sister *More resilience than most dogs twice his size Stewie may have had a rough beginning, but his future is bright. He’s looking for a forever family who sees his strength, embraces his silly personality, and is ready to give him the safe, loving home he’s always deserved. 💙 Adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog

Story
"Meet Gus: Your Future Star Student! Headline: A Southern Soul with a Heart of Gold and a Blank Slate! Gus is a 7-month-old, 35 lb Pit mix who is ready to learn everything you have to teach! Originally from North Carolina, Gus is the ultimate "clean slate" pup. He hasn’t been taught the ropes yet, he’s just waiting for a leader to show him the way. The "Gus" Highlights: Excellent Listener: He already knows his name and comes running with a wagging tail the moment he’s called! Social & Sweet: He’s a total socialite who seeks out people, plays beautifully with other dogs, and is wonderful with small children. Master of the "Off-Switch": He’s got the energy for a hike or a game of fetch, but he’s happy to sprawl out on the couch once the fun is over. Household Pro: Despite his lack of formal "schooling," he is a crate-training natural. He handles 8+ hours like a champ and sleeps through the night without a peep. The Opportunity: Gus is looking for a family excited about the "puppy phase" without the "puppy problems." Since he’s a blank slate, you get to skip the corrective training and go straight to the fun stuff! Whether you want a hiking buddy, an agility partner, or just a well-mannered companion, Gus is the perfect, eager-to-please candidate."

Story
Hello! My name is Banjo. I'm a "mini pittie" pup about a year old, about 32 lbs., and I just plain-ol' love everyone! I'm a happy guy who wants all your pets and attention, especially belly rubs. I love playing fetch and tug-of-war, and I'm just as happy running through the yard as I am snuggling with you on the couch! I'm a very nice boy -- my foster parents say I won the temperament lottery, and say I could be a therapy dog some day! But I still have a lot of puppy energy. I love to go for daily walks with a harness. I'm a bit of a chewer -- I'm a big fan of pulling on tags and chomping on ropes. I also very much enjoy hoarding stuffies in my crate! I'd do best in a home with older children, as I'm still very excited and like to stand up to get closer to my people. I'm not quite familiar with my own strength! I would do well with other friendly dogs to play with. I love cats too, but I'd do best with cats that are good with dogs -- two of the kitties in my foster home are scared of me, and I'm too excited about the one who isn't for him to feel comfortable playing with me! I'm a quick learner and LOVE my treats! I'm very food motivated and eager to please you. With some discipline and consistent training I'll be the bestest boy I can be!

🐾💙 MEET TITAN 💙🐾 If you're looking for a best friend who will love you with his whole heart, Titan is your guy. This handsome young pittie mix is still very much a puppy, but one thing is already crystal clear: Titan's favorite place in the world is right next to the people and dogs he loves. In fact, when it's time to rest, he insists on touching someone—whether that's a human snuggled beside him or one of his canine foster siblings. Personal space? Titan has never heard of it. At around 40 pounds, Titan is the perfect combination of playful puppy and affectionate cuddle bug. He loves spending his days romping around the yard with his foster brothers, playing with toys, and soaking up attention from everyone he meets. His gentle nature shines through in everything he does, and he's been wonderful with children, including a one-year-old in his foster home. Titan truly loves everyone. Whether you're a family member, a visitor, a child, or another dog, he greets the world with a happy heart and a wagging tail. For a young pup, Titan already has impressive manners. He's house trained, sleeps through the night, and knows when it's time to settle down and relax. He's currently working on crate training and may be a little restless at first, but he settles nicely once he realizes it's time to rest. He's also learning basic commands and already knows "sit." Titan enjoys walks a few times each week but is happiest spending time with his people and canine companions. Because he loves other dogs so much and gains confidence from them, we think he would thrive in a home with a playful dog friend to help show him the ropes. A fenced yard would be wonderful, but with regular exercise and continued training, Titan could also do well in a home without one. Like any puppy, Titan is still learning about the world. He'll need a family that understands he has some growing up to do and is committed to continuing his training and helping him become the amazing adult dog he's destined to be. Titan's ideal home is one filled with love, patience, and plenty of snuggles. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be part of the family, Titan is ready to fill that role. Warning: once Titan curls up next to you, you may never want him to leave. ❤️ 📩 Apply to adopt: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog 📢 Share to help Kai find her perfect match

Story
🐾💙 Meet Cubby – The Sweet Survivor with a Big Heart! 💙🐾 Meet Cubby, a joyful little survivor with a huge heart and the kind of spirit you never forget. He may still be young, but there is something so special about him already, something bright, brave, and full of life. Cubby is the sort of dog who throws himself into happiness with his whole heart, whether that means belly rubs, squeaky toys, or declaring all-out war on the sprinkler as if it personally offended him. But behind that playful, silly charm is a story that makes him all the more extraordinary. When Cubby was only a few weeks old, he survived a terrible lawn mower accident. It is the kind of beginning that could have broken a little dog’s spirit, but not Cubby’s. Thanks to incredible care and his own fierce will to live, he healed, recovered, and kept going. Today, he is thriving, with no long-term complications from the accident. His scars are still there, but they do not tell a story of weakness. They tell a story of courage. Of survival. Of a little dog who fought hard to be here and is now ready for the beautiful life he deserves. And what a lovely life he could bring to someone in return. Cubby bonds deeply with his people and wants very much to be part of the everyday rhythm of home. He loves attention, loves playtime, and loves feeling included. He would do best in a calm, structured home, ideally adult-only or with respectful teens, where he can feel secure, understood, and loved in the steady way a sensitive, special dog like him needs. Give him patience and kindness, and Cubby will give you something truly precious back: deep loyalty, endless heart, and the kind of companionship that feels one of a kind. Cubby is not just adorable. He is resilient. Silly. Loving. Brave. The kind of dog whose story makes you ache a little, then smile, then hope with your whole heart that the right person sees him and knows instantly: this one is special. Because he is. 📩 Apply to Foster or Adopt: 👉 https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/HPH/Dog #AdoptCubby #RescueStrong #WeimaranerMix #HappyPawsHaven #FosterToAdopt #SurvivorDog #AdoptDontShop
