Story
Hi friends - Rocko here 🐾 I’ve been with my rescue since November 17, 2022 - that’s THREE winters now. I didn’t find my forever home for the holidays, but I’m still holding onto hope that my people are out there. Maybe you’re reading this right now 🤞❄️🐶 A little about me: I’m a 4-year-old, 56.5 lb pit bull / mystery mix with great manners and a calm, loving personality. I’m past the wild puppy phase and solidly in my “loyal companion” era. 🐾 Why my foster thinks I’m pretty special: ✔️ House trained ✔️ Knows sit, high five, and leave it ✔️ Professional-level cuddler ✔️ Dog-friendly with other medium to large dogs ✔️ Great with older kids ✔️ Happy, affectionate, and easy to love I’d thrive with a fenced yard and maybe a big dog buddy - but mostly, I just want a home that I can truly call my own. ❄️ If you can’t adopt right now, come skate tonight, have fun, and know you’re helping pups like me get one step closer to home! 💙 If you are looking to adopt, maybe this is our moment! 🤞 🎁 Adoption Fee: SPONSORED (our community is truly amazing 🙏) Thanks for supporting my rescue - and for keeping hope alive, even after the snow melted 🐾💜

Story
🐾 Meet Cinnamon - Our Sweet Senior Girl 🐾 Cinnamon came to us from the Oak Grove shelter as an owner surrender, and this 14-year-old sweetheart is hoping to spend her golden years in a loving home where she can relax, be adored, and enjoy the simple things in life. Despite her age, Cinnamon still enjoys exploring the yard and being close to her people. She’s a calm, affectionate companion who just wants to be near you. ✨ What we’ve learned about Cinnamon: • She is very quiet! • She absolutely loves affection and will gently nudge your hand with her nose when she wants more pets. • She enjoys relaxing on the couch, at your feet, or curled up in a cozy bed nearby. • She does well following her people around and simply being part of the moment. • She has no trouble coming up stairs, though going down longer staircases can be a little challenging for her. • She may have some hearing loss, which is common for senior pups, but she still responds to visual cues and whistles. Cinnamon will do best with a consistent routine and patient family while she settles in. 💛 What Cinnamon loves most: Soft beds, gentle pets, being near her people, and soaking up the comfort of a safe home. Senior dogs like Cinnamon are some of the most grateful companions you’ll ever meet. She may not ask for much, but she deserves a family who will give her the comfort, love, and security she’s been waiting for. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet companion to share your couch and your heart, Cinnamon might be your girl. Help us find this precious senior the loving home she deserves 🐶❤️
