Story
Kylo is 2 years old and was rescued from an accidental litter in Oregon. He has been good with our kids. However he is a high chewer when we aren’t home so we have started kenneling him during the day while we are both at work which can sometimes be 12+ hours. It breaks my heart and we have tried to train him and give him all the chew toys and bones but it only happens when we aren’t home. He is a sweet boy and has been with our kids who are toddlers his whole life, however I do think he is better suited for older kids who can better read his body language. Since being kenneled he has started growling when my kids get too close, but has never growled at me and my husband. He also does need a home with a fence as he is an escape artist. He’s a pretty chill boy but he loves to play and go on walks, he pulls on his leash which we’re working on.

Story
Rusty is a great dog with lots of personality. He can be chill and just hang out with you or go on an adventure. He's been through all the training classes at Pet Smart, but a refresher never hurts. Rusty takes his home seriously and likes to patrol the yard ensuring all is well. He needs a new home without little kids. He currently lives with 3 cats and another dog. We have a new child in the house and he isn't good with small kids. I no longer have the ability to care for him and he deserves the world! He likes to take walks and be physical--he's a Mini American Shepherd after all. Rusty is not super food motivated, although he never turns down a treat. He does know how to heel and ignores other dogs when he's out and about. He is very reserved in the beginning but does come around. If it weren't for my current situation I would keep him forever.

Story
Betty is a friendly and well-behave dog who gets along with all animals and loves children. She enjoys playing with balls, taking walks, and car rides, she can get in and out of cars if they are not to tall. Betty is comfortable both on and off leash, staying close to her owners. She loves cuddling and spending one-on-one time, and she's happy to sleep in the living room on the floor or the couch.Battey has allergies that require an allergy shot Cytopoint every five weeks: she has started to take Apoquel to help reduce the amount of shots. Betty is slightly over weight and suffers occasionally from joint problems for which she takes relax chews and cosequin , she does not like fireworks and she is given relax chews and drop to reduce her anxiety. She is comfortable being home alone and gets along well with a small dog and two cats she's played with. Betty has been part of the family for three years, and her owner feels she just doesn't get as much attention as she deserves.

Story
Diego was found as one of three abandoned puppies on a hill in Longview. My daughter, hiking with her friend, heard curious puppies barking from atop a hill. The pups were eager to interact, but they were too unsure to get close. After three days of gaining their trust, 2 of the 3 puppies were rescued. Diego and his brother have lived with me since 2022. He was starving to the point of death and the vet didnt think he or his companion would make it. After 3 weeks of feeding him thru a tube he was able to stand on his own and began eating on his own. After he was strong enough he became a proud father to my female and had 7 puppies. He is a wonderful father! He loves his pups so much. But we decided to get him fixed to prevent any more surprises. Another thing about Diego is he likes to lick the other dogs eyes. It sounds funny but he will growl at another dog until they let him.lick their eyes. Its weird but good cuz now I dont have to clean my other dogs eyes.
