Age: Approximately 5 years old Weight: 13 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: unknown Kid friendly: Unknown Potty trained: Yes, good on a schedule Crate trained: Yes Required: Companion Dog & Physical Fence Hello, my name is Padme. I may be about 5 y.o., but have a lust for life and fun of a 3 y.o. I'm curious, playful and a happy girl. I love the tussel with my sister, (also listed for adoption) Valerie. I could adjust to playing with another dog. I vocalize quite a bit, sometimes it sounds aggressive; but mostly just playing hard. I love to be outside and run free in a fenced yard. I have good manners and training for in the house. I can sleep in a crate, a bed on the floor or a bed. I like to snuggle and get plenty of attention. I'm a fun gal, but new people will have to approach me slowly and let me learn about them before I warm up. Especially children (sometimes men) who approach before I trust them. Once we know each other, I am a pushover! I prefer a quiet home. If left alone for long periods I will use my voice but I’m usually quite quiet. I tell my foster mom when I need to go outside and even wake her in the night. I need a good and patient home and I will help you fill it with love! Note from my foster mom: Padme is a great dog, a genuine sweet. She's easy to love. A vet said she has a heart murmured, but I can see no obvious signs of her slowing down, breathing hard, or coughing. Overall, she's interested, active, and playful. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ. ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: Wellness check Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate) Age appropriate vaccines - rabies as required by law and distemper combo or proof of positive titer test Heartworm test if over 7 months of age Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites Microchip ~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care. ~ Adoption fees are non-negotiable and fees are listed on the dog's profile ~ Adoption fees can be paid the following ways with the required sales tax added: PayPal Credit Card Cash WANT TO HELP SAVE MORE DOGS?
