Story
Who is looking for a four legged life partner? Basics: -- 2.5 years old -- 60 pounds -- Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative -- Top notch cuddle snuggle bug -- Higher energy. Would love active adopter or fenced yard -- Needs to be only pet in home --Shy at first, but forever loyal once you are one of her people Need a buddy for walks, jogs, hikes? Samantha is down. Need a smile and chuckle watching the goofiest and happiest zoomies in the yard? Samantha’s gotchu. Zoomie all star. Need a supervisor for your weekend yard work or gardening plans? Samantha at your service. Bug, lizard, and frog hunting included for free. Also known pro at water hose management. Need someone to give finish those last few bites on your plate and vacuum up the crumbs as you cook? Samantha has trained for this moment. Need company winding down with Netflix at the end of the day and filling an empty spot on the bed? Samantha is 10/10 ready to snuggle. Need a creature full of so much innocence, love, and gratitude for you who looks at you as you are the most important and best thing in the world, and would be happy to do anything in life so long as they can do it with you? Samantha is waiting for you. 6 months ago, Samantha was left abandoned tied to a shipping container without food, water, or shelter. Reports verified she had been out there for at least 24+ hours, but signs pointed she had been stuck out there even longer than that. She vomited and defecated trash for over a week after rescue. Candy wrappers, sauce packets, she was eating anything she could reach on the tether in upmost desperation. She gut-wrenchingly cried and whined in pure panic and fear. Her neck told a story of struggle, a bald impression left from trying so desperately to get away from tether tying her to the container. She was also in heat, left tied in an area with so many roaming strays. But Samantha is forgiving. Samantha holds no grudges towards humans, rather looks to them with endless hope to receive love. Samantha will be someone’s very best friend and looked back as one of the best decisions they ever made in life AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). Story
Maggie will be 3 years old on May 8th. She LOVES to run and be outside. She does still have a problem with jumping up to “hug” people, but she does know basic commands. She is crate trained and house trained. She is rambunctious, but also thinks she makes the best lap dog. Chest & belly scratches are her kryptonite. She has been an amazing girl for almost the last 3 years, but my work schedule has changed and being a single parent I do not have time to provide the love and attention she needs.

Story
Daisy is ready for her next chapter! -3 years old (est.) -62 pounds -Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped -Very dog friendly -Potty trained -Shy, derpy, goofy, innocent, playful, preciously sweet and lovely PERSONALITY: Daisy is such a beautifully innocent soul. Though very very shy at first, there is not a mean bone in her body. She is goofy and derpy like a boxer when she warms up. She is true innocent bliss mixed with derpy goofball. Daisy just needs someone to give her grace and a little time to settle in, warm up so they can see her true beautiful personality too. FAV THINGS: Daisy enjoys playing with dogs, collecting nylabones in her dog bed (she's topped out at around 20), stealing slippers or shoes if the opportunity presents (oopsies- she's learning), seeking gentle affection from her people, and playing with her people in the yard. DOGS: Daisy best thrives with another dog in the home. She really, really enjoys their companionship and comfort, and follows their lead for confidence. She also *loves* playing with other playful dogs. She has done beautifully with every dog she has met from dominant/alpha female type, to submissive playful, from a 14lb dog to a 70lb dog. CATS: Unknown. Daisy has not met cats, besides out free with ferals cats at the gym when she was living there. If we were a betting man..... we'd probably bet a kitty swat would send Daisy running for the hills. That is 0% tried and tested. She has NO cat experiences to speak on with us. Daisy is just so uber submissive, absolutely zero observed prey drive, and liable to be afraid of her own shadow we just cant see her not being put in her place by a cat. The only way to know though is slow and proper intros over time living with them. KIDS: No kid experience, though probably best only older kids as she is so shy at first and such a flight risk. TRAINING: Potty trained HISTORY: Daisy lived in the parking lot of a gym from around March 2025 until capture January 2026. Everyone cared for her and loved her, she was basically the gym mascot its just that no one could catch her. No owner ever came forward and her history prior to the gym remains a mystery. NOTE: Daisy will be a FLIGHT RISK starting off. Daisy avoided capture for several months and it is not likely she could be caught again if she escaped. Basic precautionary measures must be taken to ensure she stays safe e.g. not leaving unattended in a yard, watching doors/gates, etc. Simple things that are the difference sometimes in a pet going missing or not. LOCATION: Currently in foster in Jackson, GA. We do a home check with all fosters/adopters, so no need to travel, we will come to you within 2 hours. AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). FTA is a 2 week commitment-free trial run to make sure things are a fit before sealing the deal and officially adopting. ADOPTION FEE: $150 APPLY TO ADOPT: joyspromise.org/adopt P.S.- If you aren't looking to adopt right now, but still want to help, consider fostering Daisy! Fostering Daisy would expand her socialization and exposure, which would be greatly beneficial to her at this point. Foster: joyspromise.org/foster -- Note: If you are interested in adopting, please COMPLETE AN APPLICATION THROUGH OUR WEBSITE. Inquiries on adoption sites is not an application. Adopt Roxy! BASICS: -Female -3ish years old -60 pounds -Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped -Potty trained -Has done well and lived with medium-large dogs -Friendly, loving, loyal, easy going -Enjoys kiddie pools and lakes ENERGY: Good mix of play and couch potato, matching whatever you’re wanting. Wanting to play in the yard or go for adventures? Roxy is down. In a Netflix and chill mood? Roxy is down. CUDDLE: Some cuddles, but not over the top wanting to be all over you all the time. She’s more of the type of dog that just wants to be with you and have each other’s company. MISC: Roxy is best suited for a home willing to leash walk her to potty, or if an adopter is expecting a fence to keep her in- 6+ feet in height. Roxy has proven to be an athlete capable of jumping a 6ft fence. BACKSTORY: Roxy was roaming the streets and hanging at an abandoned school building while pregnant. After finding her “owner”, we discovered Roxy lived outside 24/7, roamed freely, received no vet care and was on her third litter. The owner had plans to dump her off somewhere soon, but we were thankfully able to intervene and have her surrendered. AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). FTA is a two week, commitment free and pressure free, trial run to make sure things are a match before sealing the deal. LOCATION: Currently located in Jackson, GA. Story
Brownie is looking for her forever family! — Female — 9 months old (est. DOB 9/5/2025) — 40ish growing pounds — Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped — Has done well with other dogs — Potty trained — Sweet, playful, loving PERSONALITY: Sweet, friendly, loves people, playful, average energy for age, enjoys being outside and giving kisses DOGS: Brownie is in foster with a large female dog who she does great with. She has also met other medium-large dogs and done very well with them CATS: Unsure KIDS: Brownie met a 1 year old and 4 year old, which her foster reported she “didn’t have a care in the world about them” TRAINING: Potty trained. Her foster uses an xpen more so than a crate, but Brownie does well going in her xpen when instructed and settling. HISTORY: Brownie and her believed brother were found at a healthcare business. They were wormy, a little underweight, and Brownie limping, but the brother had a collar on. We held them for their stray hold before officially intaking them, but unfortunately no owner ever came forward and the rest of their history remains a mystery.
