Story
This is Bear, he was adopted from a shelter, with his sister. He is 70 pounds with blue eyes and a brown, red and white coat. He is a big boy, but is sweet and loves to cuddle. He is very vocal. His tone can be intimidating and he can be mouthy but he has a very good temperament. Bear had surgery 2 months ago to fix entropion, everything is healed now, and he is more comfortable. He is so sweet, he loves cuddles, giving kisses, belly scratches, walks and playing outside. If he is left unattended he will escape! He may need a home without another dog. He doesn't always get along with other dogs including his sister, he becomes extremely jealous when the attention is not on him. He does know some commands, is house trained, and crate trained. He needs a home where someone is home most of the time, he will try to break out of his crate if left alone. Him and his sister were part of a neglect case before coming to us. His sister is available to adopt with him if you are really experienced.

Story
Meet Roxanne: A Special Soul in Search of a Loving Home A beautiful female pit mix with a unique story to tell. Roxie's journey began three years ago when she was found, tied to a fence, left with a past we can only imagine. Today, she's 5 years old, 57 lbs, and patiently waiting for her forever family. Roxanne has come a long way, but she does have some "stranger danger" tendencies, and trust doesn't come easy. We've been diligently working with her, but it's been a slow process. To ensure Roxie finds the perfect home, we're looking for a special adopter—someone who understands the value of patience, love, and structure. Roxie thrives with proper introductions to dogs and would be best suited to a quiet household with no kids. Here's what makes Roxanne truly special: She's a clever girl who knows commands like "stay," "sit," and "OK" as her release cue from a sitting position. Roxie walks beautifully on a leash and adores car rides. She has a zest for playtime, loves her toys, and enjoys going on adventurous walks. Roxanne has been waiting for her forever home for far too long, and we're committed to helping her find it. We're even willing to cover training expenses once she's in a permanent home because we believe in her potential. If you think you're the patient and loving soul Roxie needs, please consider filling out an application to make her a part of your life. Together, we can show Roxanne that she's truly the best girl ever! http://providingforpaws.org/adoption-and-foster-forms.html

Story
Meet Frannie: Ready to Start a New Chapter in Her Life! Frannie is a true survivor and a loving soul who has dedicated herself to raising her 7 precious babies. Now, it's her turn to find the loving home she truly deserves! Frannie is a well-behaved girl who's potty trained and crate trained, although she's such a good girl that she doesn't really need to be crated. She's a social butterfly who adores other dogs and relishes in playtime. Frannie's boundless energy and love for fun make her the perfect companion for active households! Frannie does have a special requirement—a fully fenced-in yard, preferably with a privacy fence. She's quite the jumper and wants to ensure she stays safe in her new home. This sweet girl thrives on attention and affection. She's a cuddle expert who loves to be petted and is as sweet as can be. Frannie came to the rescue pregnant, and all her 7 babies have found their forever homes. Now, it's time for Frannie to have her own loving family. She may not be a fan of small dogs, but we believe she could do wonderfully with a larger male companion. If you have a heart full of love and a fully fenced yard that Frannie can call her own, she's waiting for you with open paws and a heart full of affection. Give Frannie the loving home she's been longing for.

Story
Ranger is a young, extremely intelligent, playful, handsome GSD/Great Pyranese mix looking for a forever home. He has done wonderful learning manners and obedience at home, and is going through a training program with PRO K-9 with his brother. He has been raised with 3 dogs in the country in Carleton and gets along well. Ranger doesn't jump or get on furniture, or chew on anything he isn't supposed to--just his appropriate toys. He does great with grooming including the nail dremel and blow dryer. He's fully housebroken and crate trained. He eats on a regular schedule and has learned to wait patiently. Ranger loves to work with his people and would do best in a home with breed experienced who will continue his training as he matures. A home with a fenced yard, and no cats or no young children would be best. Born 5/3/23, he is full vaccinated including influenza, neutered, and in good health. Ranger can be alert and wary of strangers as these breeds can be. But he can be introduced well quickly in the home, and is working on more socialization and behavior outside of the home through his training. PRO K-9 will provide a free session to his forever home (within travel range) to help transition him and go over his training, and his extra large crate can go with him.
