Where did you acquire your pet? It was sometime near the beginning of the pandemic. May of 2020 when I was given Lily by a friend who found her wandering around his home on the West Side of Detroit. She weighed only about 20 lbs then and was super shy and scared of everything. She doesn’t like the sound of bells and flinched at the sounds of cars. She slept all the time and was such a gentle pup. How old is your pet? Lily’s made up birthday is 01/11/2020, making her 3 years old What are you looking for in a new home? I want Lily to go to a home with a family who will give her lots of love and attention. She loves playing fetch and is extremely friendly. She loves to run and to be outside. She loves car rides. She is so gentle around my baby nephews and is the smartest dog I’ve ever had. What adjectives would you use to describe your pet? Patient, Intelligent, Playful, Beautiful, Kind, Soft

Hi! I’m Ghost!Cool name, right? I’m a 7 year old, midsized male Pit Pull. I’m brown with white markings and I’m VERY handsome. I am gentle and playful. I’m also quiet for the most part.My likes are snuggling, kisses and ear and neck scratches.I dislike not getting attention, being alone, having no one to play with or give me love.My family can no longer keep me because their landlord doesn’t like dogs. So. Rude. NOW, I have to live in the garage and backyard.I have a beagle friend next door, Charlie, who I play with. He’s really cool, but he’s LOUD..Charlie’s Mama is really nice to me. She gives me head snuggles, kisses and scratches my neck (I really like those). She also gives me collagen bones and a lot of treats She spoils me because she doesn’t like seeing me alone all the time. But, both Charlie and his Mama are on the other side of a fence! I need a home that will love me INSIDE. I promise I won’t go potty in there. You can even put me in a crate when you’re not home.

Milo was adopted from Friends for Animals in 2013. Since we’ve adopted him, he’s been full of energy and always willing to play. When we adopted him, we noticed he wasn’t too happy with other animals, and would stay away from them. This quickly turned into aggression towards dogs that are bigger than him in size. However dogs that are the same size as him, or smaller, he would ignore or walk away. He loves to play with cats who are not scared to be around him, or approach him. But if they are scared of him, he will be scared of them. Milo loves to cuddle and absolutely adores car rides and walks. He listens best when there are treats involved. He’s funny, sweet,energetic and smart. He’s very quick to learn new commands especially when you have his favorite food in hand, hot dogs! The most suitable home for Milo is one where there aren’t many young kids (between 1-6). New owners must be experienced with dogs and willing to learn Milo’s triggers to some standard things (ie. vacuum, etc)
