Story

My name is Hope. I am an 8 lb, 10 month old Chihuahua mix. As you can see (even from these pictures) I had a rough start. When I was picked up, I was suffering from a severe case of mange. I was uncomfortable, tender, itchy and I was yearning for relief. Wonderful people came to my aid and started fixing me! 6 weeks later, I am feeling and looking more like myself. These pictures are current. My hair is coming in nicely and in just a matter of a couple of weeks, I will be fully covered. I am certainly feeling like myself (a fun, social, playful young lady). I am finally taking applications. I am a catch. I am great with other dogs but my love is for my people. I would do well as an only so I don't have to have any competition for attention, pets and my favorite, laps. However, a nice playmate would be okay too! I am pad trained and can learn the crate as needed. Right now, I am safe in a gated off area when my humans are out. I would love to go on little walks and accompany you to as many places as you can take me. (The list should be long, I am pretty small.). I have not been around young children quite yet. I’m an enthusiastic puppy who loves to play, and I’m very motivated by food. I live with other dogs, cats, and even a small human - I’m great with everyone! I really like to snuggle and receive affection. Oh, and P.S. I get along with those little feathered things in the yard, too. They're pretty cool! My name is Snoopy. I am a stunning dude. My foster family calls me "Snoop" for short. I am about 2.5 years old and 55 lbs. I am a German Shorthaired Pointer mix. I am just as friendly as I am beautiful. I love my canine friends but love my humans just as much. I could easily be the only dog in the home and have canine dates outside. I love people - big and small. I am jovial and joyful so little ones could be knocked over. Cats are cool too but they need to be savvy because I might want to play and get to know them! I spent 4 months in a southern shelter where I was dumped. I was always friendly and excited to see anyone that gave me attention in those walls. This has carried over to my foster homes. I am so thankful to get love and attention and food! I also LOVE toys. My favorite game ever is tug! My favorite human is 10 years old and she plays with me a lot! My name is Grizzly! If you do NOT to laugh, giggle and be provided with tons of entertainment, please move on to the next puppy. I am a 3.5 month old, 14 lb mix of endless smiles. We think I’m a Beagle mix, with Lab and Jack Russell Terrier likely rounding out my family tree. I should be about 30 to 35 lbs full grown. I love other dogs and follow my older canine friends around when they go outside or check things out. I am very playful so if I have a dog in my home, I would be oh so happy if they would play with me! I am a fan of all the humans in my house, even the 6 year old. I can be a little hesitant at first with new people but 100% friendly. You have to remember, I am just starting my journey of socialization. I am such a character I will bounce to and fro while I get to know you. I love toys and games! Tug, fetch (or the idea of fetch), squeaky toys, chew toys... they make me happy! I want to be part of all the human fun too. I can see myself going on outings, nice long walks, doggie playdates, kids sports games and the like. I need to learn a few manners (like all puppies do). I am crate-trained and sleep all the way through the night. I am located in NJ and I am super soft! My name is Sparkle. It's a suitable name for me! I am about 12 months old and 40ish lbs. I am a Cattle Dog Mix. I could have a little Shepherd down the line or Husky (no l am not a singer!). I am a well-rounded, active and incredibly affectionate girl. My favorite place is close to my humans so in that regard, I am a little bit of a velcro dog. I am great with other dogs and enjoy their company. I am respectful of the older dog and playful with the younger dog. I could play for long time if the other dog is up for it. I am a master of the dog park and haven't met a dog I didn't like. I have been around kids of all ages, even those young ones and I feel comfortable around all of them. I enjoy going on walks and always ready to join my humans for a ride in the car. I am able to play independently too when needed. I am still young so some basic rules need to be instilled when I get to my new home. I need a little leash work but my response to correction is really pretty good! I would love an active family to take me to fun places where I can share my amazing qualities with many friends. A spot on the couch is a requirement too! I am located in NJ.
