My name is Ellie. I am 2 years old and just under 50 lbs. I am an adorable girl. From what we know about my history, one of my parents was a German Shepherd Dog mix. The other, we aren't so sure but there are snippets of Cattle Dog and Australian Shepherd in my look and behavior. I am in search of a new home. I need a little more than my family can give me right now due to life stuff. I also need a home where I can thrive and my current situation holds me back. I am super smart and well behaved at home. I am crate trained but don't need it. I am housebroken. I have lived with kids but I also don't need the little ones. 10+ is good for me. I can socialize with other dogs but I haven't had a lot of opportunity. I live with two other dogs now and for the most part, it's harmonious. However, Ziva really believes I would come out of my shell and bloom as an only dog. I would LOVE to soak up all that human attention. My mind is active (like a shepherd's mind would be) so a human that can take me on hikes, adventures, do some training (I learn things in 2 seconds) would be fantastic. I need a little leash work. I love to go on walks and I don't get to go on as many as I want to right now. A fenced in yard would be excellent too! I am located in NJ! This boy is up for anything, he has never met a stranger, he will stop in his tracks and run to greet whomever comes in through the door. Mochi is crate trained and sleeps well in his crate at night too! He is working hard on his housebreaking and leash walking. He's learning his house manners pretty quickly too! My name is Chunk. First off, I am 153 lbs. Yes, I am! I am a Saint Bernard/Pyrenees mix. I am a literal chunk but I am not overweight, I am just big. I mean, given my breeds, I am what you would expect. I am full grown at about 1.5 years old. If someone wants an XL dog, you cannot go wrong with me. I am a mountain of pure love! I am an incredible noble and friendly dog. I adore kids. I live with two kids 7+ and absolutely love them. I play tag and chase and tug til I can't anymore and as long as they will play with me. I am housebroken and fine left in my safe space when my humans are out. I do not use a crate. I love to go for walks and get excited to see the leash. I am not reactive to dogs or anything in passing and work hard walking nicely next to my human. I am successful but that occasional stop and sniff is needed! I am young so I need some stimulation and activity but also naturally a couch potato given my size and breed. I have always lived as an only dog. I have never been aggressive or inappropriate with another canine. I am youthful and carefree but also smart and extremely loyal. A fenced in yard is a requirement for me and a single family home . Because the shelter system is so full, they decided they needed room and I was next. Thank goodness a wonderful person came forward and saved me. I am just a baby and have my whole life ahead of me. I am a VERY lucky girl. We think I am a mix of Ridgeback, Boxer and maybe a little Redbone. I have a beautiful hue to my coat. I am a lovely young dog who loves just about everyone. I live with two dogs in my foster home and I am respectful. I like to play and I enjoy their company! I can easily live as an only dog; I have enough confidence and independence where that won't be a problem. But dog friends are welcome. I am completely housebroken and trustworthy. No crate needed! I am fine for a few hours if my people need to go out. I walk well on leash and have fun going out and about. I am medium energy.
