Story
Blair is a lovable energetic dog that would thrive with an owner(s) who are also active with or without children. Blair is a hunter, so does not get along with unknown other dogs or cats. She is also a snuggler and craves attention. We have a senior dog who tolerates Blair and vice versa. Our family loves Blair, but she needs a family or owner that has more time to actively spend with her.

Story
Odie is a one (1) year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, male dog. He is sweet, playful, smart and sensitive. He has a lot of Ridgeback personality characteristics. He is house trained, knows commands and listens well. He loves to cuddle, get belly rubs, and snuggle next to you when you're on the sofa. He loves human attention and is always eager to engage. He rides in the car well, even on long trips. We bring him to the dog park every day for socialization and exercise. He loves playing with other dogs. He is very friendly with people. He is currently enrolled in basic obedience classes to reinforce what he already knows and learn new skills. We want him to be the best companion that he can be. He needs a lot of exercise and would benefit from a family that is active and can take him on multiple walks a day, in addition to the dog park. We adopted Odie only to find out that our other dog doesn't get along with him. In addition, my son is allergic to him.

Story
My name is Bruno! Myself and my one little snuggle tooth are looking for my forever home. I am such a catch, I must say. Here are all the fantastic things about me. First, I am small - about 18 lbs. So, you can take me almost anywhere! I am about 18 months - young but pretty much out of the puppy phase. I am housebroken but needed a couple of days to get the hang of the new routine and environment. I sleep in my crate overnight. I love to play with the other dogs in my home and could easily share my forever home with another playful dog. A fenced in yard would be ideal for me as I love to zoom around off leash. That being said, I would love someone to take me for walks too! I am medium energy and love to cuddle on the couch when I am done playing. I have met a lot of new people in a short amount of time and I greeted them all appropriately. I am a bit of an extrovert which is pretty cool. Overall, I am a really nice dude who would fit into so many different places. I don't mind a busy and full household... I am loads of fun myself. Story
Looking to add a little more joy, energy, and tail-wagging fun to your life? Meet Jelly – a sweet, young pup with a heart full of love and a zest for life! Jelly is about 18 months old and bursting with enthusiasm and ready to explore the world with her forever family by her side. She’s animated, curious, and always up for the next adventure—whether it’s a stroll around the block, a hike in the woods, or just playing in the backyard. Not only is Jelly adorable, she’s also housebroken and can be trusted out of a crate—that’s right, no puppy shenanigans while you’re gone! She’s still learning the ropes and would thrive with a patient, committed family who’s willing to help her grow into the best dog she can be. In return, she’ll shower you with love, loyalty, cuddles on the couch and endless tail wags. Not everyone in your household may be as upbeat and excited about life as Jelly—but she’s more than happy to lead by example! https://asecondchanceforziva.org/adopt/adoption-process-application/

Story
My name is Macy. I am another stunner and part of The Glamour Girl litter with Gucci and Chanel. I am about 1 year old and 70ish pounds. I am the smallest of the three girls but not by much. I am just about fully filled out. I could pack on a few more. My breed mix includes (from what we can see) lab and hound and perhaps Akbash (which is a cousin of the Great Pyrenees). Now for the important stuff and a little comparison to my sisters! Kids are fine - 8+ is what I have been exposed to without any issue. I really love the 8 year old human. I engage with her more than Gucci. I also pal around a lot with Chanel. We seem to get along great and have the same type of jovial energy. In comparison to my sisters, I am the one that needs to keep four on the floor but it's not really a jump... I like to call it a hug. I get up, hold on and lay my head on my foster mom. You could say I have the potential to be a velcro dog. I am the one that seeks the most pets from my humans; nothing abnormal... I just love love. I want to be a part of the action and usually the first one to go check it all out. I am still young so I might still chew and will need to learn manners wherever I go. I play well with all the dogs I have been around - large and small. I will turn heads - I promise. Fenced in yard would be ideal for me. Cats are unknown. If you are interested, please submit an application. https://asecondchanceforziva.org/adopt/adoption-process-application/

Story
My name is Jasper! I am about 2 years old and 46 lbs. I am a well-behaved, housebroken, crate-trained Husky with piercing blue eyes. I am great with all dogs and spends my day playing, running and relaxing among my friends. , However, I love my the humans too and I tend to focus more on them so I definitely don't need another dog in my home. As a Husky I am kind of independent in my ways and per my breed, I can be a little aloof at times. That being said I love my foster mom and I am very loyal to her. I am fine with men and women but I do more comfortable around the ladies from the start. We do not know how I am with young kids nor cats. The rescue just hasn't seen me around them to project my behavior. I love my spot on the couch and I love to go on walks! I get very excited when you take the leash out and I will tell you all about it. I do like to chase the critters in the yard too. I practice my husky howl at times (especially when a little excited) so a single family home with a fenced in yard will be the place that I will thrive the most.
