Story
Meet Dory! She is around 10 years old and weighs 22 lbs. She is good with other dogs and cats. Dory is with a foster in Bonney Lake 🐾 From her foster: “Dory, the queen of comfort and master of relaxation. She’s happiest when she’s right beside her favorite human, preferably while sinking into a plush dog bed that’s just the right level of squish. While the days of zoomies may be behind her, she’s perfected the art of slow strolls, long naps, and gentle snuggles. Her love runs deep, her gaze is soulful, and she has a special talent for reminding everyone around her that life is best enjoyed one cozy moment at a time. Dory has poor eyesight but will learn her way around her environment. Due to her inability to see well, young children are not recommended. She has a quirky walk and will hop up and down the stairs, which she is still able to maneuver. Dory loooves her food and will be your shadow in the kitchen. She is potty trained but a doggy door or ready access to the yard would be recommended. She will also use pee pads if a doggy door is not available. She is happy to meander the yard and then curl up in a comfy bed to sleep.” To apply: Casadog.org/dogs

Story
Meet Jack! He was born July 10th and weighs about 35 lbs. Jack is with a foster in Tacoma 🐾 From his foster: “This handsome cow dog puppy is as sweet as they come! Jack is a total love bug—confident, playful, and full of personality once he’s comfortable. He’s great with his people, but he can be a little cautious with new introductions and may need some extra time to warm up to new people. Jack would do best with a patient family willing to help build his confidence and support him as he learns. He loves to learn and genuinely wants to be a good boy. He’s already a pro at sit and lay down, and he’s eager to keep learning more—treats and “good boys” go a long way in his book! He’s crate trained, great with kids, and does really well with other dogs. Jack would be an awesome fit for a family looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion who just needs a little patience and encouragement to shine.” To apply: Casadog.org/dogs

Story
Meet Trixie! She is 3 years old and weighs 43 lbs. Trixie is a beautiful and brave soul who survived being hit by a car, an accident that resulted in the loss of one of her legs. But don’t let that fool you, this incredible girl didn’t let it slow her down. She’s adapted beautifully and lives a happy life on three paws. Trixie has a calm, gentle spirit. She has a low energy level and loves nothing more than lounging around and relaxing. At first, she can be shy but with time and patience, she begins to trust and once she does, she becomes one of the sweetest and most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. Trixie gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and enjoys playing with her foster siblings. However, she’s not a fan of cats and would do best in a cat-free home. She’s not used to sleeping in a crate, but she absolutely loves curling up on the couch, close to her humans. She’s calm, well-mannered, and never causes any trouble around the house. Trixie is currently with a foster in Tijuana. Our next available transport date is 5/17/26. They must have either an approved foster or adopter in order to confirm their spot on the transport.
