Cash is about 10 years old. He’s very energetic. He likes to run full speed. He is good with kids NEVER tried to bite a child EVER. He’s never tried to bite anyone. Cash is also pretty good with other dogs. He needs a new home because he needs to be with someone that can give him more love and attention than I can. He loves to run and play and I don’t have the time to give him the love he deserves.

Story
Midna is the best friend anyone could ever ask for. She's been with her dad (me) since she was 8 weeks old. Very very loving, will try to lock the skin off of you, but a bit nervous. She has anxiety, so sometimes she can be a bit clingy or jumpy. Good around kids, but not babies. She gets anxious around weird noises, like a motor or something high pitched. Even bubble wrap. I had a family living with me for a bit, and their child abused her without my knowledge so she gets a bit jumpy, but I promise she's a good girl. Has never bitten anyone. Giving up my baby's is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I have no choice in the matter. I want her to have the best life ever. She turns 8 on July 20th. 75 pounds and full of energy.

Story
Oh, Nyx....where do I begin. This girl is a special one! She came to us when our vet asked us to take in a special needs puppy. Nyx was born with hydrocephalus and the breeder didn't want her so she surrendered Nyx to our vet. Her hydrocephalus doesn't affect her health in any way now but we believe it has affected her personality. Nyx is a very special girl who will need a VERY special adopter. One who is patient and calm and willing to accept Nyx for who she is! Nyx wants affection on her terms but will run from you if you try to pick her up. You have to go low and slow so she won't run from you. Nyx will HAVE to have a fenced in yard for that very reason - if she got out you probably wouldn't get her to come back to you. Nyx likes other dogs but doesn't really know how to play with them and can mean to them when she's just trying to get them to play. We think all of her quirks are a direct result of her hydrocephalus. She can be so loving, but she is definitely a quirky one! Nyx will do best with older children or a quiet household. If you are the unicorn adopter we are looking for - who is willing to accept Nyx for who she is - please fill out our application at www.goofyfootrescue.org Nyx is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized.

Story
Cocoa is an 8 year old pitbull, spayed and microchipped. She is house trained, potty trained, and a very good and sweet dog. She loves cuddling in bed or on the couch with a blanket and watching TV. She can be left alone in the house and can be trusted not to get into things. She is very well behaved. She loves going on walks, and cuddles. Due to financial issues and having to go move somewhere I cannot bring her, I need to rehome her. I've had her since she was 6 weeks old, and she is my best friend. She really is the perfect dog. She would do better in a home without other animals as she prefers to have all of your attention.

Story
Meet Comet! Here is a bit about him, in his own words… or woofs… -I LOVE toys but not small ones, bones to chew and I get the zoomies all the time. -I’m very loving, I’m learning how to cuddle and love to lay on the couch with a bone. -I think I could be happy as an only dog but have had a few doggy friends. -I’ve been neutered and got a clean bill of health from the vet as well. -I would love someone who would take me for walks. Comet was a shelter pull at risk of euthanasia due to space and the time he had been there. We were able to get him full vaccinated, neutered, and even allergy tested. He’s been doing great on the specific allergy friendly food he is on. We are thankful we could give him the chance at a forever life by bringing him to our rescue and helping him on his journey to finding a family! If Comet sounds like he could be a match, please fill out an application on our website.
