Story

Lola Bunny or "Lola" for short is a boxer/pit bull mix that we adopted when we were living in Columbus, OH in April 2021. She is a little ball of energy, and loves chewing on sticks and rubber toys. She loves to run and jump around, she is very playful. She also loves to cuddle and have pets. When she likes you, she'll lick your face tons! Unfortunately, we've made the difficult decision to rehome her. She is very selective of who she wants to be friendly to, and that behavior doesn't mesh with my big extended family. She's never been aggressive towards people. She gets scared of people, growls, barks, and backs away. This makes a lot of my family members uncomfortable, so it has been challenging to accommodate for us.

A Mag Mutt volunteer found this handsome boy abandoned while on vacation in TN. He is estimated to be about 1.5-2 years old, weighs approximately 45lbs. He is good with other dogs - both big or small, loves to play with toys, and is extremely sweet. Leash training is in progress and will continue to be worked on in his foster home. Beau would love a fenced yard to play and zoom around in too! Like some Boxers, he gets excited, so any kids in the home should be old enough not to get bumped and fall down and understand he's just showing how happy he is! He is a cuddlebug and loving too! Sadly, he is a cat chaser - so, no cats in the home for him. We recommend obedience training for all pups and dogs! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Oaks is a young, sweet lady that is about 2 years old and weighs about 50-55 lbs. She is still in 'puppy' mode, listens to basic commands, but will still need consistent reinforcement. House manners are good and she is learning to alert her foster when she needs to go out. Oaks is learning about toys and figuring out that they are for play! Oaks will still need to work on leash walking to not pull and practice will continue while in her foster home. She is said to be friendly, good with both dogs and kids, cats are unknown. They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m a 4+ year old mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. I’m such a good boy and I have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire but neither do most of my friends. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms.
